Introduction
With your new epilator you can remove unwanted hair quickly, easily
and effectively. It is particularly suitable for removing hair from your legs.
The rotating discs catch even the shortest hairs (down to 0.5mm) and
pull them out by the root.The hairs that grow back are soft and thin.
Epilating with this new appliance leaves your skin smooth and hair-free
for several weeks.

Important
Read these instructions for use carefully before using the appliance and
save them for future reference.
◗Check if the mains voltage indicated on the appliance
corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the
appliance.
◗Regular cleaning and proper maintenance ensure optimal results
and a long life for your appliance.
◗Do not allow the appliance to come into contact with water.
◗Do not use the epilating head on irritated skin or skin with
varicose veins, rashes, spots, moles (with hairs) or wounds
without consulting your doctor first. People with a reduced
immune response, e.g. during pregnancy, or people who suffer

from diabetes mellitus, haemophilia or immunodeficiency should
also consult their doctor first.
◗Regular massages with a loofah may help to prevent ingrowing
hairs. Do not use the loofah immediately before or after
epilation.
◗Using an epilator may cause reddening or irritation of the skin.
This is a normal reaction that will quickly disappear. However, you
should consult your doctor if the irritation has not disappeared
within three days.
◗To prevent damage and injuries, keep the running appliance away
from your hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, clothes, threads, cords,
brushes, etc
◗Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
◗Only use the appliance in combination with the mains cord
supplied.
◗If the mains cord is damaged, always have it replaced by one of
the original type in order to avoid a hazard.
Preparing for use
◗Make sure your skin is clean, entirely dry and free from grease.
Do not use any cream before you start epilating.
◗Epilation is easier just after taking a bath or shower. Make sure
your skin is completely dry when you start epilating.
◗When you use the appliance for the first time, we advise you to
try it out on an area with only light hair growth to get
accustomed to the epilation process.
◗As the hairs are removed by the root, epilation may cause some
skin discomfort the first few times you use the epilator.This
effect will gradually diminish when you use the appliance more
often. Regrowth tends to be softer both in appearance and to the
touch.
◗After epilation, you can apply a mild cream or lotion to help
reduce possible skin irritation. It will make your skin feel
smoother and will give you a fresh sensation. Do not use lotions
that contain alcohol.

Using the appliance
Connecting the appliance
1Insert the appliance plug into the appliance (fig. 2).
2Insert the mains plug into the wall socket (fig. 3).
Epilating the legs
1Switch the appliance on by selecting the desired speed.
◗Select speed I for areas with little hair growth, for hard-to-reach
areas and for areas where bones are located directly beneath the
skin, such as knees and ankles (fig. 4).
◗Select speed II for larger areas with stronger hair growth (fig. 5).
2Stretch the skin with your free hand to make the hairs stand
upright (fig. 6).
BStretching the skin properly is particularly important if you have
sensitive or delicate skin.
3Place the epilator perpendicularly onto the skin with the on/off
slide pointing in the direction in which you are going to move the
appliance (fig. 7).
4Move the appliance slowly over the skin, against the direction of
hair growth (fig. 8).
Do not apply pressure.
5Switch the appliance off by pushing the on/off slide to position 0
(fig. 9).
Epilating the underarms and bikini line
Your epilator comes with a SoftPrecision cap that makes the appliance
suitable for epilating the more delicate parts of the body, such as the
underarms and bikini line.

The SoftPrecision cap reduces the number of epilating discs that are
active and stretches the skin during epilating.This makes the appliance
ideal for the more delicate areas of the body.
BYou will get the best results when the hairs are not too long (max. 0.5
mm).
1Put the SoftPrecision cap on the epilating head (fig. 10).
BThe SoftPrecision cap can only be fitted onto the appliance in one way.
2Switch the appliance on (fig. 11).
We advise you to select speed II.
3Stretch the skin with your free hand (fig. 6).
4Place the appliance perpendicularly onto your skin, with the
on/off slide pointing in the direction in which you are going to
move the appliance (fig. 7).
5Move the appliance slowly over the skin, against the direction of
the hair growth (fig. 8).
◗Epilate your bikini line as shown in the figure (fig. 12).
◗Epilate your underarms as shown in the figure (fig. 13).
◗For a cool sensation, you can dab the area you have just epilated
with a cloth soaked in cold water.
Cleaning
For a good and smooth epilating result, it is essential that you clean the
epilating head after each use.
Never immerse the appliance in water.
Do not use aggressive cleaners, scouring agents, petrol, acetone etc.
to clean the plastic housing of the appliance.
Never try to remove the epilating discs from the epilating head. Do
not exert pressure on the shaving foil to avoid damaging it.
1Switch the appliance off (fig. 9).
2Remove the mains plug from the wall socket (fig. 14).

3Remove the epilating head by pushing the ribbed section with
your thumb in the direction of the arrow indicated on the back
of the epilating head and then lifting it off the appliance (fig. 15).
4Clean the epilating discs of the epilating head and all other parts
that have become accessible with the brush supplied (fig. 16).
◗Attach the epilating head by placing it onto the appliance and
pushing it against the direction of the arrow indicated on the
back of the epilating head until it snaps home (fig. 17).

Einleitung
Mit Ihrem neuen Epiliergerät können Sie lästige Haare schnell, einfach
und wirksam entfernen. Es eignet sich besonders zum Epilieren der
Beine.
Selbst die kürzesten Härchen (bis zu 0,5 mm) werden von den schnell
rotierenden Pinzetten erfasst und an der Haarwurzel entfernt. Die
nachwachsenden Haare sind fein und weich. Ihre Haut bleibt mehrere
Wochen lang glatt.

◗Verwenden Sie den Epilierkopf nicht, wenn die Haut gereizt oder
entzündet ist, auch nicht bei Pickeln,Ausschlag und Wunden, bei
Krampfadern oder (behaarten) Muttermalen. Fragen Sie zuvor
Ihren Arzt. Gleiches gilt bei geschwächtem Abwehrsystem, z. B.
bei Diabetes mellitus (Zuckerkrankheit), Schwangerschaft,
Hämophilie und Immunschwäche.
◗Regelmäßige Massagen mit einem Luffa-Schwamm können
verhindern, dass Härchen in die Haut einwachsen.Verwenden Sie
aber den Luffa-Schwamm nicht unmittelbar vor oder nach dem
Epilieren.
◗Durch den Gebrauch eines Epiliergeräts kann eine Rötung oder
Reizung der Haut auftreten. Dies ist eine normale Hautreaktion,
die schnell abklingt. Hält die Reizung jedoch länger als drei Tage
an, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt konsultieren.
◗Halten Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät fern vom Kopfhaar, von
Augenbrauen und Wimpern, Kleidung, Fäden, Kabeln und Bürsten,
umVerletzungen und Beschädigungen zu vermeiden.
◗Halten Sie das Gerät außer Reichweite von Kindern.
◗Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur mit dem mitgelieferten Netzkabel.
◗Wenn das Netzkabel defekt oder beschädigt ist, darf es nur von
einem Philips Service-Center oder einer von Philips autorisierten
Werkstatt durch ein Original-Ersatzkabel ausgetauscht werden,
um ein Sicherheitsrisiko zu vermeiden.
Vorbereitung zum Gebrauch
◗Ihre Haut muss sauber, fettfrei und völlig trocken sein, wenn Sie
das Gerät benutzen.Verwenden Sie vor dem Epilieren keine
Creme.
◗Das Epilieren ist nach einem Dusch- oderVollbad am leichtesten.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Ihre Haut vor der Anwendung völlig
trocken ist.
◗Wenn Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal gebrauchen, empfiehlt es
sich, es zunächst an einer Stelle mit geringer Behaarung
auszuprobieren, damit Sie sich an das Epilieren gewöhnen.
◗Da die Härchen an der Wurzel entfernt werden, kann das
Epilieren bei den ersten Anwendungen ein unangenehmes

Hautgefühl verursachen. Das nimmt aber mit jeder Anwendung
ab, denn die nachwachsenden Haare sind weicher und feiner.
◗Nach dem Epilieren können Sie eine leichte Creme oder Körper-
Lotion auftragen, um eventuell auftretende Hautreizungen zu
lindern. Das erfrischt die Haut, und sie fühlt sich glatter an.
Verwenden Sie keine alkoholhaltigen Lotionen.
Benutzung des Geräts
Das Gerät anschließen
1Stecken Sie den Gerätestecker in das Gerät (Abb. 2).
2Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose (Abb. 3).
Die Beine epilieren
1Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie die gewünschte
Geschwindigkeit wählen:
◗Wählen Sie Geschwindigkeitsstufe I für Hautpartien mit geringer
Behaarung, für schwer erreichbare Zonen und für Hautpartien
direkt über Knochen, z. B. Knie und Knöchel (Abb. 4).
◗Wählen Sie Geschwindigkeitsstufe II für größere Hautpartien mit
stärkerer Behaarung (Abb. 5).
2Straffen Sie die Haut mit der freien Hand, damit sich die Härchen
aufrichten (Abb. 6).
BDas Straffen der Haut ist besonders wichtig bei zarter und
empfindlicher Haut.
3Setzen Sie das Epiliergerät senkrecht auf die Haut, wobei der Ein-
/Aus-Schalter in die Richtung zeigt, in der Sie das Gerät bewegen
(Abb. 7).
4Führen Sie das Gerät langsam gegen die Haarwuchsrichtung über
die Haut (Abb. 8).
Üben Sie keinen Druck aus.

5Zum Ausschalten des Geräts stellen Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter in
Position 0 (Abb. 9).
Epilieren von Achselhöhlen und Bikinibereich
Ihr Epiliergerät ist mit einer Präzisionskappe (SoftPrecision) ausgestattet,
mit der Sie besonders empfindliche Hautpartien, z. B. die Achselhöhlen
und den Bikinibereich, epilieren können.
Die Präzisionskappe reduziert die Anzahl der wirksamen Pinzetten und
strafft die Haut während der Epilation. Ihre Anwendung eignet sich also
ideal für besonders empfindliche Hautpartien.
BDie besten Ergebnisse erzielen Sie, wenn die Haare nicht zu lang sind
(max. 0,5 mm).
1Setzen Sie die Präzisionskappe auf den Epilierkopf (Abb. 10).
BDie Präzisionskappe lässt sich nur in einer Richtung auf das Gerät
setzen.
2Schalten Sie das Gerät ein (Abb. 11).
Wir empfehlen Geschwindigkeitsstufe II.
3Straffen Sie die Haut mit der freien Hand (Abb. 6).
4Setzen Sie das Gerät senkrecht auf die Haut, wobei der Ein-/Aus-
Schalter in die Richtung zeigt, in der Sie das Gerät bewegen (Abb.
7).
5Führen Sie das Gerät langsam gegen die Haarwuchsrichtung über
die Haut (Abb. 8).
◗Epilieren im Bikinibereich (siehe Abbildung) (Abb. 12).
◗Epilieren der Achselhöhlen (siehe Abbildung) (Abb. 13).
◗Zur Kühlung der Haut können Sie die gerade epilierte Hautpartie
mit einem in kaltem Wasser getränkten Tuch oder Schwamm
abtupfen.

Reinigung
Um ein gründliches und glattes Ergebnis beim Epilieren zu erreichen,
sollten Sie den Epilierkopf nach jedem Gebrauch reinigen.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser.
Verwenden Sie keine scharfen Reinigungs- oder Scheuermittel, auch
kein Benzin,Azeton usw. zur Reinigung des Kunststoffgehäuses.
Versuchen Sie niemals, die Epilierpinzetten aus dem Epilierkopf
herauszunehmen. Üben Sie keinen Druck auf die Scherfolie aus, um
sie nicht zu beschädigen.
1Schalten Sie das Gerät aus (Abb. 9).
2Ziehen Sie das Netzteil aus der Steckdose (Abb. 14).
3Zum Entfernen des Epilierkopfes drücken Sie mit dem Daumen in
Pfeilrichtung auf die geriffelte Fläche und ziehen den Epilierkopf
vom Gerät ab (Abb. 15).
4Reinigen Sie die Epilierpinzetten und alle anderen erreichbaren
Teile mit der beiliegenden Bürste (Abb. 16).
◗Setzen Sie den Epilierkopf wieder auf das Gerät, indem Sie ihn
gegen die Pfeilrichtung drücken, bis er hörbar einrastet (Abb. 17).

Introduction

Les disques rotatifs attrapent même les poils les plus courts (un demi
millimètre!) et les retirent à partir de la racine.Votre peau sera douce et

◗Le nettoyage et l'entretien régulier garantissent les meilleurs

◗Un massage régulier de la peau avec une éponge végétale (loofah)
de massage peut vous aider à éviter les poils incarnés. Ne brossez
pas la surface de la peau immédiatement avant ou après
l'épilation.
◗Lors de l'utilisation d'un épilateur, votre peau peut devenir rouge
ou irritée. Il s'agit d'une réaction normale qui diminuera
graduellement. Cependant, si l'irritation persiste plus de trois
jours, consultez votre médecin.
◗Pour prévenir des dommages ou des blessures, utilisez l'appareil à
distance respectable des cheveux, cils, sourcils, vêtements, fils,
cordons, brosses etc.
◗Tenez l'appareil hors de portée des enfants.
◗Utilisez l'appareil uniquement avec le cordon d'alimentation
fourni.
◗Si le cordon d'alimentation est endommagé, pour plus de sécurité
et pour éviter tout accident, il ne doit être remplacé que par un
cordon d'origine.
Préparation à l'emploi
◗Assurez-vous que votre peau est propre, sans graisse ni crèmes.
N'appliquez aucune crème avant l'épilation.
◗Les poils sont plus faciles à épiler après un bain ou une douche.
Mais votre peau doit être complètement sèche durant l'épilation.
◗Quand vous utilisez l'appareil pour la première fois, nous vous
conseillons de commencer par un endroit avec peu de croissance
de poils de manière à vous habituer à l'épilation.
◗Etant donné que les poils sont retirés par la racine, l'épilation
peut provoquer une légère irritation de la peau lors des
premières utilisations. Il s'agit d'une réaction normale qui
diminuera graduellement. Le poil repousse doux et fin.
◗Après utilisation, vous pouvez appliquer une crème hydratante ou
un lait corporel qui aidera à réduire l'irritation de la peau après
l'épilation.Ainsi votre peau sera plus douce et rafraîchissante.
N'utilisez pas de lotions qui contiennent d'alcool.

Mode d'emploi
Connecter l'appareil
1Insérez la petite fiche dans l'appareil (fig. 2).
2Insérez la fiche dans la prise de courant (fig. 3).
Epilation des jambes
1Mettez en marche l'appareil en sélectionant la vitesse désirée.
◗Sélectionnez la vitesse I pour les zones où les poils sont plus fins,
pour les zones difficiles à atteindre et pour les zones osseuses
comme les genoux et les chevilles (fig. 4).
◗Sélectionnez la vitesse II pour des surfaces plus grandes et des
poils plus épais (fig. 5).
2Etirez la peau avec votre main libre pour redresser les poils (fig.
6).
BIl est très important d'étirer correctement la peau surtout si vous avez
une peau sensible ou délicate.
3Placez l'épilateur perpendiculairement sur la peau avec le bouton
marche/arrêt orienté dans la direction où vous voulez déplacer
l'appareil (fig. 7).
4Déplacez l'appareil lentement dans le sens inverse de la pousse
des poils (fig. 8).
N'exercez pas de pression sur l'appareil.
5Placez le bouton marche/arrêt en position 0 (fig. 9).
Epilation des aisselles et de la ligne du maillot
Votre épilateur est doté d'un capot SoftPrecision qui rend l'appareil
idéal pour l'épilation des zones les plus délicates du corps, telles que les
aisselles et la ligne du maillot.
Le capot SoftPrecision réduit le nombre de disques actifs et tend la

peau durant l'épilation. Il rend l'appareil idéal pour l'épilation des zones
délicates.
BPour une épilation optimale les poils ne doivent pas être trop longs
(max. 0,5 cm).
1Mettez le capot SoftPrecision sur la tête d'épilation (fig. 10).
BLe capot SoftPrecision ne peut être fixé que dans une seule position.
2Mettez en marche l'appareil (fig. 11).
Nous vous conseillons d'utiliser la vitesse II.
3Assurez-vous que la peau est tendue (fig. 6).
4Placez l'appareil perpendiculairement sur la peau avec le bouton
marche/arrêt orienté vers la direction où vous voulez déplacer
l'appareil (fig. 7).
5Déplacez l'appareil lentement sur la peau, dans le sens inverse de
la pousse des poils (fig. 8).
◗Epilez la zone du maillot comme indiqué dans l'image (fig. 12).
◗Epilez les aisselles comme indiqué dans l'image (fig. 13).
◗Pour plus de fraîcheur, vous pouvez tamponner la zone épilée
avec un chiffon humide.
Nettoyage
Pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats, il est très important de nettoyer la
tête d'épilation après chaque emploi.
N'immergez jamais l'appareil dans l'eau.
N'utilisez pas de substances corrosives, d'éponge à récurer, essence,
acétone, etc. pour nettoyer les parties en plastique de l'appareil.
N'essayez pas de retirer les disques de la tête d'épilation.
1Arrêtez l'appareil (fig. 9).
2Retirez la fiche de la prise murale (fig. 14).
3Otez la tête d'épilation en appuyant sur les sections striées et
faîtes glisser la tête dans le sens de la flèche (fig. 15).

4Nettoyez les disques rotatifs de la tête d'épilation et les autres
composants accessibles avec la brosse fournie (fig. 16).
◗Remettez la tête d'épilation sur l'appareil et pressez-la dans le
sens inverse de la flèche à l'arrière de la tête jusqu'à ce qu'elle
soit fixée (fig. 17).
