Introduction
With your new epilator you can remove unwanted hair quickly, easily
and effectively. It is particularly suitable for removing hair from your legs.
The rotating discs catch even the shortest hairs (down to 0.5mm) and
pull them out by the root.The hairs that grow back are soft and thin.
Epilating with this new appliance leaves your skin smooth and hair-free
for several weeks.

Important
Read these instructions for use carefully before using the appliance and
save them for future reference.
◗Check if the mains voltage indicated on the appliance
corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the
appliance.
◗Regular cleaning and proper maintenance ensure optimal results
and a long life for your appliance.
◗Do not allow the appliance to come into contact with water.
◗Do not use the epilating head on irritated skin or skin with
varicose veins, rashes, spots, moles (with hairs) or wounds
without consulting your doctor first. People with a reduced
immune response, e.g. during pregnancy, or people who suffer

from diabetes mellitus, haemophilia or immunodeficiency should
also consult their doctor first.
◗Regular massages with a loofah may help to prevent ingrowing
hairs. Do not use the loofah immediately before or after
epilation.
◗Using an epilator may cause reddening or irritation of the skin.
This is a normal reaction that will quickly disappear. However, you
should consult your doctor if the irritation has not disappeared
within three days.
◗To prevent damage and injuries, keep the running appliance away
from your hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, clothes, threads, cords,
brushes, etc
◗Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
◗Only use the appliance in combination with the mains cord
supplied.
◗If the mains cord is damaged, always have it replaced by one of
the original type in order to avoid a hazard.
Preparing for use
◗Make sure your skin is clean, entirely dry and free from grease.
Do not use any cream before you start epilating.
◗Epilation is easier just after taking a bath or shower. Make sure
your skin is completely dry when you start epilating.
◗When you use the appliance for the first time, we advise you to
try it out on an area with only light hair growth to get
accustomed to the epilation process.
◗As the hairs are removed by the root, epilation may cause some
skin discomfort the first few times you use the epilator.This
effect will gradually diminish when you use the appliance more
often. Regrowth tends to be softer both in appearance and to the
touch.
◗After epilation, you can apply a mild cream or lotion to help
reduce possible skin irritation. It will make your skin feel
smoother and will give you a fresh sensation. Do not use lotions
that contain alcohol.

Using the appliance
Connecting the appliance
1Insert the appliance plug into the appliance (fig. 2).
2Insert the mains plug into the wall socket (fig. 3).
Epilating the legs
1Switch the appliance on by selecting the desired speed.
◗Select speed I for areas with little hair growth, for hard-to-reach
areas and for areas where bones are located directly beneath the
skin, such as knees and ankles (fig. 4).
◗Select speed II for larger areas with stronger hair growth (fig. 5).
2Stretch the skin with your free hand to make the hairs stand
upright (fig. 6).
BStretching the skin properly is particularly important if you have
sensitive or delicate skin.
3Place the epilator perpendicularly onto the skin with the on/off
slide pointing in the direction in which you are going to move the
appliance (fig. 7).
4Move the appliance slowly over the skin, against the direction of
hair growth (fig. 8).
Do not apply pressure.
5Switch the appliance off by pushing the on/off slide to position 0
(fig. 9).
Epilating the underarms and bikini line
Your epilator comes with a SoftPrecision cap that makes the appliance
suitable for epilating the more delicate parts of the body, such as the
underarms and bikini line.

The SoftPrecision cap reduces the number of epilating discs that are
active and stretches the skin during epilating.This makes the appliance
ideal for the more delicate areas of the body.
BYou will get the best results when the hairs are not too long (max. 0.5
mm).
1Put the SoftPrecision cap on the epilating head (fig. 10).
BThe SoftPrecision cap can only be fitted onto the appliance in one way.
2Switch the appliance on (fig. 11).
We advise you to select speed II.
3Stretch the skin with your free hand (fig. 6).
4Place the appliance perpendicularly onto your skin, with the
on/off slide pointing in the direction in which you are going to
move the appliance (fig. 7).
5Move the appliance slowly over the skin, against the direction of
the hair growth (fig. 8).
◗Epilate your bikini line as shown in the figure (fig. 12).
◗Epilate your underarms as shown in the figure (fig. 13).
◗For a cool sensation, you can dab the area you have just epilated
with a cloth soaked in cold water.
Cleaning
For a good and smooth epilating result, it is essential that you clean the
epilating head after each use.
Never immerse the appliance in water.
Do not use aggressive cleaners, scouring agents, petrol, acetone etc.
to clean the plastic housing of the appliance.
Never try to remove the epilating discs from the epilating head. Do
not exert pressure on the shaving foil to avoid damaging it.
1Switch the appliance off (fig. 9).
2Remove the mains plug from the wall socket (fig. 14).

3Remove the epilating head by pushing the ribbed section with
your thumb in the direction of the arrow indicated on the back
of the epilating head and then lifting it off the appliance (fig. 15).
4Clean the epilating discs of the epilating head and all other parts
that have become accessible with the brush supplied (fig. 16).
◗Attach the epilating head by placing it onto the appliance and
pushing it against the direction of the arrow indicated on the
back of the epilating head until it snaps home (fig. 17).
