GettingStarted
Charging:BeforeusingyourMultispeQ,chargeitfor8hoursusingthesupplied
micro-USBcable*.Whenpluggedin,thesmallgreenLEDnexttothemicro-USB
portlightsup.Oncetheinstrumentisfullycharged,thelightwillturnoff.
TurnOn:Pressandholdthepower/resetbuttonintherearfor5seconds.

Pushdowntheleafclampbuttontoopentheleafclamp.Pushandreleasewithaneven
motionandpreventitfromsnappingback.Incasetheopenandclosingfeelsrough,a
smallamountoflithiumgreasecanbeusedtomaketheopenandclosingmotionmore
smoothly.
PARSensor
ThePARsensorlocatedontopoftheinstrument.Whentakingmeasurements,
dependingonthemeasurementprotocol,thelightintensitymeasuredwillbereplicated
insidetheinstrument.MakesurethePARsensoriscleanandnottocoverorshade,to
preventalteringtheactualintensity.
Seal
TheNitrilesealaroundthelightguideonthemainbodyandtheclampisensuringthe
areameasuredissealedfromoutsidelight.
LightGuide
Thelightguidesaremadefromacrylic.Makesure,itiscleanandpreventclampinghard,
roughmaterialswhichcancausescratches.
Youmayneedtocleanthelightguidesoccasionally.Gentlycleanthelight
guideswithadamp,softcloth.
Donotsubmergeinwater,donotusesolventsordetergentsanddonotuse
abrasiveorroughclothstocleanthelightguides.
IRContactlessTemperature
TheleaftemperaturecanbemeasuredwiththeIRContactlessTemperature.When
takingameasurement,makesurethattheleafiscoveringtheIRsensor.Thesensoris
insidealittlegrooveandnotflushwiththeclampsurface.Theleaformaterialshould
nottouchthethesensor,sinceitcanalterthemeasuredtemperaturereading.
Temperature&rel.HumidityVent
ThetwoventsallowairtobeexchangedinsidetheInstrument.Therearetwosensors
insidetheclamp,oneisclosetotheventsandthelightguidewhilethesecondoneis
locatedontheotherendoftheclamp.Tubescanbeattachedincombinationwitha
pumptoprovideaconstantairflowand/orgasexchange.
