Getting started
Installation
Set the TV stand at the center of the system so that no part of it protrudes beyond the
perimeter of the base.
Do not cause impact to the soundbar system

Functions Operation and Connection Instructions
1. Bluetooth pairing
a. Turn on the unit, press Bluetooth button on remote control, “BT” will be flashing on LED.
Turn on Bluetooth in your digital device, and searching for a new device. when detected Pi
KX100 select it. connection complete when “BT” display still.
b. If you would like to connect to a new device while the Pi Wave Soundbar is connected to
another device, please follow either one of below two steps.
1/ Turnoff Bluetooth from a connected smartphone or MP3 player in settings and follow
instruction “a.” above to pair the new device to Pi Wave Soundbar.
2/Press and hold PLAY/PAUSE button on remote control for two seconds until BT flashes
on the screen. Repeat instruction “a.” above to pair the new device to Pi Wave
Soundbar.
When connected to soundbar via Bluetooth, you can press remote button Pause/Play,
Previous and next button to control music playback.
Note:
If Pi Wave karaoke Soundbar is not connected to any Bluetooth device, “BT” will slowly flash.
The Bluetooth wireless operational range is 10 meters.
Some Bluetooth device may request PIN code (“Passkey”, “PIN Number” or “Password”). Please
enter “0000”
When turning on Pi Wave karaoke Soundbar, it will automatically connect to last connected
Bluetooth device (Make sure Bluetooth is on in device settings)
2. Auto shutdown function for energy saving
a. Pi Wave Soundbar will automatically shut down into sleep mode after 40 minutes of
inactivity, such as no music input or no connection to any digital device. This is normal.
FAQ and Troubleshooting
1. Soundbase does not turn on.
Solutions:
1) Please confirmed you are using Pi Electronics’ +20V 4A output AC adaptor.
2) Check if AC adaptor LED is on and confirm AC adaptor is connected to a power outlet which
has AC 110/220 V output.
2. Remote control doesn’t work
Solutions: Replace with brand new battery. Check if there is any object between the speaker
and remote control. Please remove it if there is an object block IR censor.
3. Cannot connect Bluetooth
Solutions:
1) Confirm the Pi Wave karaoke Soundbar is in Bluetooth mode. If not, please press
Bluetooth button on your remote control and try connect again.

2) Confirm the distance between the karaoke Soundbar to your Bluetooth device is within 33
feet (10 meters) and there is no object/s in between, such as a wall or door.
3) Confirm the Pi Wave karaoke Soundbar is not connected to another device. If so, please
disconnect it from the other device and try connecting again.
4) Remove Pi KX100 from your smartphone or digital device Bluetooth list and pair it again.
4. Bluetooth often disconnects or has noise
Solutions:
1) Check if there is an object between the speaker and your phone/device or if their
distance exceeds 10 meters (33feet)
2) If playback music is from online stream, please try use locale music. Or confirm your
internet speed or phone data plan is fast enough because slow internet will cause MP3
or YouTube playback to lag.
5. The Speaker is connected but no sound is heard
Solutions:
1. Confirm the proper input source is selected. Press INPUT button to select the correct
input source.
2. Refer to your phone or TV (line out connect) volume and adjust accordingly.
3. Make sure your cable is firmly connecting between Pi Wave and connected device such
as a TV or change cable with known good cable.
4. If you are connected to a computer with Bluetooth® and there is no sound, please refer
to your computer settings for how to configure Bluetooth device audio output.
6. What’s the Bluetooth® pairing password?
Answer: The Bluetooth® pairing password is 0000. Most phones enters password
automatically, but some phones requires you to enter the password manually.

Limited Warranty
Who is covered?
This limited warranty will only cover merchandise purchased by end-use purchaser or person
receiving merchandise as a gift from country of purchase.
How long:
Warranty period for merchandise will be for 1 year from date of purchase.
What is covered?
Warranty will only cover defects in manufacturing. Defections by any human factors like
physical damage or misuse will not be covered. If defects under warranty conditions are met, Pi
will repair or replace the defective unit free of charge. Return shipping cost from us to you will
also be included. We will not cover any shipping, fees, duties and taxes charged when
transporting merchandise from you to Pi Electronics.
Requirements for obtaining warranty services:
You must contact Pi Electronics or store you purchased from to obtain RMA number for further
instructions before sending unit in for warranty service original receipt must be presented for
proof of purchase to receive warranty service. Unit must be shipped back in original package or
package of equal protection. We will not cover any shipping damage. Accurate customer’s
return address must be included with send in unit to ensure you will receive your repaired or
replacement unit.
