Basic cautions
•If the terminal or the adapter gets wet, DO NOT put it into a microwave oven to
dry/heat the device. (If it gets wet, the label on the product is discolored and, in this
case, we will not offer guarantee for the product.)
•Use a specified pure product for adapter. DO NOT use the adapter for other uses than
our terminal use. (Otherwise, the adapter may be exploded or the lifespan of the
adapter may be shortened.)
•Insert and fix the adapter firmly. If the product shows abnormalities including smoke,
bad smell or noise, turn the power off as soon as possible and pull the plug out of the
outlet. In addition, in case of thunder/lightning, separate the adapter out of the outlet.
※This terminal is composed of precise electric and electronic parts.
※The descriptions given below aim at helping you use the product safely and
appropriately to prevent accidents and/or dangerous situations from occurring,
and so, we hope you will follow them in any case.

•With enriched 260 thousand colors, bigger-sized 3.5-inch screen and support of
touch-sensitive screen function, the terminal enables you to enjoy various functions
including settlement programs.
•With powerful printing supportive of up to 90mm/sec printing speed, faster than other
products, the product enables you to reduce printing time.
•In support of Windows CE, the product can be equipped with software programs
appropriate for corporate environments.
•Through voice services, you can safely check how a settlement is going on.
•As the product can support a variety of wired/wireless functions including WLAN,
Ethernet, PSTN, GSM and CDMA, you can make settlement in a fast and consecutive
way.
•As the product can be equipped with an internal battery, it can be used in case of

Install the terminal as described below:
1For easy use, put the terminal on a flat and safe
place to avoid drop and shock.
2Connect the AC adapter with the power port
seen at the rear part of the terminal.
3When you use phone line and Ethernet, connect
the phone cable with the Line port.
4Open the printer cover at the front of the
terminal and insert roll paper.
(For details, see page 14.)
5Turn on the power switch at the left of the
terminal and set communication before use.

When you use the communication port for the terminal and the telephone
(Phone port), either of the terminal and the telephone is not available if the
terminal or the telephone is used.
In addition, if you pick up the phone or press a number while the terminal is
used, data error may occur on the terminal.
Connect each line in the right position as seen in the following figures; otherwise, the
product may be damaged.
Connect through IT network (LAN) (Option).
Connect through memory stick and sign pad.

Press the power button seen at the left of the product to turn on/off the power.
In initial booting, it takes around 45~50 seconds for program setting.
Power button
The stylus pen is an input device to let you select, execute or move an object from the LCD
screen in touch-sensitive method.
If you use ball-point pens, pins, awls or other sharp tools instead of a dedicated
stylus pen, it may hurt the LCD screen.
•Press the stylus pen (Tab)
Enables you to touch an icon from the screen with the stylus pen one time to
select or execute an item.
•Drag the stylus pen (Drag)
Enables you to select multiple items at one time; this function lets you select
characters or images.
•Press and hold the stylus pen (Tap and hold)
Enables you to look at functions for a corresponding item; when you press
the screen with the stylus pen, related pop-up menu appears.

1Press the Printer open/close button to hold up
and open the printer cover.
2Insert roll paper into the groove.
(If you completely push the cover backward,
the roll paper may be caught. Given this,
insert the paper with the cover softly pulled
forward.)
3Softly pull out the starting point of the roll
paper from the terminal.
4Press and close the printer cover.
As seen in the figures below, replace roll paper of the terminal appropriately.
•To prevent damage, you need to use dedicated roll paper
(57(Width)×50(Diameter)×12(Paper bobbin length)mm) complying with the
standard suitable for the printer.
•In replacing roll paper, you need to cut the power of the terminal.

1With a coin, turn the two screws at each lower
part of the back of the terminal to open the
case.
2Put the cover upward and separate it from the
body.
3Insert USIM card/MSAM card.
(For a reference, USIM card is inserted into the
first position; MSAM card can be inserted into
one of the second ~ fourth position.)
4Close the cover to fix it to the groove and turn
the screws back to lock the cover.
As seen in the figures below, insert USIM card/MSAM card appropriately.
What is USIM card?
This card is a combination of SIM card with subscriber information and UICC
(Universal IC Card); with this card, users can put, into one card, various functions
of authentication, global roaming and e-trade.
What is MSAM card?
This card is a complementary application module inserted into a smart card;
inserted into a card reader, this card authenticates validity of cards and terminals,
makes encryption of communication data to prevent information from being
leaked and authenticates and verifies communication messages.

Turn the front part of a debit/credit card to the left direction and insert the card into the
smart card reader to use it.
You can ask for settlement only with a debit/credit card with integrated circuits.
Turn the front part of a debit/credit card to the left direction to put the magnetic line
downward. Insert the card into the magnetic card reader and pull it slowly downward.

Q. The terminal gets wet. What can I do?
A. If the terminal doesn’t work after it is dried for a certain time, its main board and other
parts should be replaced. In this case, contact the customer care center.
Q. The terminal fails to boot.
A. Check if all of the lines are appropriately connected. If the problem continues, it may
be caused from a damaged program. Then, contact the customer care center.
Q. How can I ask for after-sales service?
A. All you need to do is send the product to our customer care center (Headquarters)
through express courier service. The delivery service fee should be pre-paid. When the
product is repaired, it will be sent once the repairing fee is paid in the headquarters.
Q. Can I check if the terminal is sent accurately?
A.Our customer care center (Headquarters) lets you know the number of the transport
paper. Otherwise, you can ask related delivery company about it.
Before asking for after-sales service
Before requesting after-sales service, the user needs to back up data in the device in
person.
We do not back up data for any of products received to our customer care center.
