WIRING SAFETY FOR UK USE ONLY
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the
mains lead of this
appliance may not
correspond with the
coloured markings
identifying the terminals
in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Green/Yellow [EARTH]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral and must
be connected to the terminal marked [N] or
coloured black.
The wire coloured brown is the live wire and
must be connected to the terminal marked [L] or
coloured red.
The wire coloured green/yellow must be
connected to the terminal marked with the letter
[E] or marked .
On no account must either the brown or the blue
wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal .
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened
correctly.
The plug must be tted with a fuse of the same
rating already tted and conforming to BS 1362
and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-
rewireable plug tted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an
ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of
the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug – disconnect
it from the mains – and then cut it o of the
mains lead and immediately dispose of it in a
safe manner. Never attempt to reuse the plug or
insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger
of an electric shock.

1. Remove your appliance from the packaging.
2. Check that there is no damage to the cord or any visible damage to the body or lters.
3. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE
1. Place the dehumidier so that it has 20cm
of free space all the way around.
2. Plug the appliance in to suitable power
outlet. The Power indication light will turn
green when the unit is plugged in.
3. Press the button once to start
operation. Press it again to stop
operation.
4. Press the button to toggle between
a low and high speed fan.
5. Press the button to set the desired
humidity level of the room. The settings
are anywhere between 40% to 80% at
5% intervals. Once the room humidity has
reached 2% below the selected humidity,
the compressor will stop then the fan
will stop 3 minutes later. Once the room
regains humidity 2% above that selected,
the compressor and fan will start after 3
minutes.
6. Press the button to set the timer so
the dehumidier will automatically start
from 1 to 24 hours. The dehumidier will
start automatically when it reaches the
set start time. I.E. if the current time is 12
noon and you want the dehumidier to
start at 2pm, then set the timer to 02.
7. To cancel the timer press the until the
timer reaches 00. The timer can also be
cancelled by pressing the button. If
the water tank becomes full, you will need
to empty the tank and replace, the timer
will then continue from where it left o.
Note: The timer will not work if the room
humidity is above the selected humidity setting.
Adjust the humidity setting to below the room
humidity which appear on the LCD screen.
8. When the tank is full, the water full LED
will illuminate and the dehumidier will
switch o automatically and emit 15
beeps.
REMOVABLE WATER TANK
1. Lightly press on the sides of the tank with
both hands and pull the tank out gently.
2. Discard the collected water.
Note: Do not remove the oat from the water
tank. The water full sensor will no longer be
able to detect the water level correctly without
the oat and water may develop a leak.

3. When replacing the water tank, press the
tank rmly into place with both hands. If
the tank is not positioned properly, the
tank full sensor will be activated, and the
dehumidier will not operate.
CONTINUOUS WATER DRAINAGE
1. The unit features a continuous drainage
port. Using a plastic pipe with an inner
diameter of 10mm (not supplied) insert
into the drain hole (on intermediate plate),
reach out from the water tank making
sure that the pipe is set in the notch of the
water tank and unit body.
2. Plumb the pipe to a suitable drain. If you
are unsure, seek advice from a qualied
plumber.
Note: The dehumidier will not operate unless
the tank is in place correctly.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The following checks will assist in the correction
of most problems which you may encounter
with your dehumidier. Before going through
the check list below, rst check the following
points:
The power cord must be connected rmly.
Should any problem persist after you have
made these checks consult your nearest
dealer.

CLEANING & CARE
To clean the body.
• Wipe it with a soft damp cloth.
To clean the air lter.
• Lift the handle and slide the lter grille up.
• Remove the lter from the lter grille
• Run a vacuum cleaner lightly over the
surface of the air lter to remove any dirt.
If the air lter is exceptionally dirty, wash it
with warm water and a mild cleanser and
dry thoroughly.
• Reverse the procedure to replace the lter
into the dehumidier.
STORAGE
If the unit is not being used for a long period of
time:
• Empty any water from the tank.
• Fold up the power supply cord.
• Clean the air lter.
• Store in a safe, dry place, out of reach of
children.
WARNING:
DO NOT IMMERSE ANY ELECTRICAL PART
OF THE APPLIANCE IN WATER SUCH AS
MOTOR UNITS OR PLUGS.

FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS.
DISPOSAL OF THE UNIT
Appliances bearing the symbol shown here
