This product is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of original purchase. If any defect
arises due to faulty materials of workmanship, the faulty products must be returned to the
place of purchase. Refund or replacement is at the discretion of the retailer.

•The product must be returned to the retailer with proof of purchase.
•The product must be installed and used in accordance with the instructions
contained in this instruction guide.
•It must be used only for domestic purposes.
•It does not cover wear and tear, damage, misuse or consumable parts.

WIRING SAFETY FOR UK USE
ONLY IMPORTANT
As the colours in the
mains lead of this
appliance may not
correspond with the
coloured markings
identifying the terminals
in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral and
must be connected to the terminal
marked [N] or coloured black.
The wire coloured brown is the live wire
and must be connected to the terminal
marked [L] or coloured red.
On no account must either the brown or the blue
wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal .
Always ensure that the cord grip is
fastened correctly.
The plug must be fitted with a fuse of the
same rating already fitted and conforming
to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician
who will be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable
plug fitted to the mains lead and should the fuse
need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved
one (conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician
who will be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug - disconnect it
from the mains - and then cut it off the mains lead
and immediately dispose of its safely. Never
attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a socket
outlet as there is a danger of an electric shock.
WARNING:
This appliance is double insulated. Do not connect any wire to the earth terminal.

cord as this may damage the

•Do not use this product for
anything other than its
intended use.
•This appliance is for
household use only.
•Do not carry the appliance
by the power cord.
•Do not use the
appliance outdoors.

•Do NOT use the blanket in
areas where flammable liquids
are stored or where flammable
fumes may be present.
•When not being used for a
considerable amount of time,
please unplug the heater
from the mains socket.
•Do NOT use a hot water
bottle at the same time as
using the blanket.
•Do NOT use with a helpless
person, an infant or a
person insensitive to heat.
•When the blanket is on,
children should be
supervised at all times.
•Ensure the under blanket
is used in the manner in
which it is intended.
•The blanket is NOT
recommended for use
on adjustable beds.
•If used on an adjustable bed,
check the blanket and cord
cannot become trapped or
rucked in the hinges .
•Ensure the product is correctly
fitted to the bed, following the
instructions in this booklet.
HIGH VOLTAGE

•Do NOT insert pins or any
sharp objects into the blanket.
•Do NOT tuck the heated part of
material under the mattress.
•Do NOT use if the
blanket is wet.
•Avoid pressing creases or
folds into the blanket.
•Do not switch on if the blanket
is folded, creased or rucked.
•Do NOT use any lead, switch
or cord other than the one
supplied with this blanket.
•Do NOT coil or lay the
lead on the blanket.
•The blanket is NOT intended
for medical use in hospitals.
•WARNING: When storing
the appliance, allow it to
cool down before folding.
•In the unlikely event the
appliance develops a fault,
stop using it immediately
and seek advice from the
service department.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE:
1. Open the box carefully –Do not use a sharp object as you could damage the
cabinet of the blanket
2. Remove from the box and take it out of the plastic bag –Ensure the bag is
disposed of carefully as it could be a danger to children if they play with it.
3. When plugged into the mains ensure that the mains cable is tidied away so as
not to become a hazard whereby people could trip over it and ensure it is not
near to the heat outlet of the heater.
4. The cable must not be covered.
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Note: This blanket is intended to be used
as an over blanket and therefore should
always be placed on top of an individual,
not under them, on the top of a bed
sheet, or under them on a mattress.
Do not tuck it in around or under the person.
It should remain loose so as not to
prohibit the movement.
Ensure there is a mains supply is nearby and that
when in use, the mains lead will not be in a
position that could cause people to trip over it.
When plugged into the mains supply, the
controller must be within easy reach of the user.
Do not cover the controller and do not
exert pressure on the controller.
WARNING: Ensure the blanket is not
folded, rucked or creased.
When in use, do not cover with pillows.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE
1. Connect the control to the blanket (the
blanket has a socket attached that the
control slots into) and ensure it is fully
and securely connected.
2. Plug the blanket in and turn the ON/OFF
switch on the control to the ON position.
3. When the blanket is first switched on, it
will be in standby mode. The yellow
indicator light on the control will be on.
4. To preheat the blanket, press the
temperature button 5 times to reach the
highest temperature. The corresponding
temperature indicating light will light up
red. Preheat for 30 –60 minutes.
5. Press the temperature button to
select your required temperature.
Note: It is recommended to leave the
blanket on the lowest temperature if
you are going to leave it on overnight.
6. Press time to select the required
time, from 1 to 8 hours. The green
time indicator light will glow.
7. Press cancel at any point to reset
the settings and return to standby.
8. Once the select time is up, the
blanket will return to standby mode.
9. Turn the blanket off by moving the ON/
OFF switch on the control to the OFF
position, and unplugging at the mains.
Timer:
There are 4 time settings to choose from:
1hour
2hours
4hours
8hours
Temperature:
There are 5 temperature settings to
choose from, ranging from high to
low. Select a temperature by
pressing the temperature button.
Low: Press once
Medium Low: Press twice
Medium: Press three times
Medium High: Press four times
High: Press five times

Faults:
If the temperature indicator lights flicker
alternatively, please check whether the coupler
of the electric blanket has been connected firmly
or not and restart it. If the fault cannot be
removed, it may mean the thermal connection to
the electric blanket has a fault. If so, contact
customer services for advice.
If the temperature indicator lights flicker at
the same time, it means the temperature of
heating elements is too high. Please use
the electric blanket after it cooling down. If
the fault cannot be removed, the electric
blanket has been broken.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•When not in use and before cleaning the
blanket, disconnect it from the mains.
•Disconnect the controller/s
from the blanket.
•Do NOT immerse the controller/s in
water or get them wet.
•Clean the surface of the cord with
neutral detergent if the cord is dirty
and wipe it dry with soft cloth.
•Do not submerse the controller in
water or get it wet at all.
•Do not dry clean this blanket as it
could damage the heating elements.
•Do not use industrial solvents
such as benzene, kerosene or
similar solvents to clean it.
•Machine washing of the blanket is
possible; however, hand wiping it down
will prolong the life of the blanket. To
machine wash, remove the controller/s
and place the blanket in a net bag and
seal it. Use a small amount of detergent
and set the washing machine to a
“Delicate Wash” with a maximum
temperature of 40°C. When washed,
remove the blanket from the net bag
and drape it over a clothes line to dry.
Do not use clothes pegs to secure it.
•Do NOT wring out the blanket.
•Do NOT dry using a tumble dryer.
•Do NOT iron the blanket.
•Do NOT dry the blanket in the sun.
•Do NOT connect it to the mains
supply to dry it.
•Do NOT use an appliance such as
a hair dryer to dry it.
•Allow the blanket to dry naturally.
•Do NOT use the blanket if it is
damp or wet.
•Do not try to repair the blanket if faulty –
have it looked at by a qualified person.
•Examine the blanket frequently to check
that there are no signs of wear or damage.
If any damage/wear is spotted, do not use
the blanket and seek specialist advice.
•If the mains lead or controller is
damaged, do not open or attempt to
repair them as they must be
serviced by a qualified person.

Storage:
•When not in use, allow it to cool
down before folding, then gently fold
the blanket and place back into the
packing bag it arrived in.
•Make sure the blanket is dry before
folding and packing it away. The
blanket should be hung in a
ventilated location to dry naturally.
•Do not use mothproofing agents
on the blanket.
•Insulation of the blanket will be damaged if
the blanket is dried under the sun, ironed or
when mothproofing agents are used.
Damage on the insulation material
will cause safety problem.
•Do not crease the appliance by placing
items on top of it during storage.
•The blanket should be store in a
cool dry place. If faulty –have it
looked at by a qualified person.
•Examine the blanket frequently to check that
there are no signs of wear or damage. If any
damage/wear is spotted, do not use the
blanket and seek specialist advice.
•If the mains lead or controller is
damaged, do not open or attempt to
repair them as they must be
serviced by a qualified person.
WARNING:
DO NOT IMMERSE ANY PART OF THE
