Installation und Verwendung
I. Antenne anschließen (siehe Abbildung I)
•Verbinden Sie die mitgelieferte Stabantenne oder Ihre Hausantenne mit dem Antenneneingang des
PCTV Hybrid Pro Sticks.
Hinweis: Wenn Sie die mitgelieferte Stabantenne verwenden, positionieren Sie diese bitte
möglichst hoch und möglichst nah am Fenster.
Der Empfang hängt vom Standort ab und kann durch dicke oder stahlverstärkte Wände sowie
Nachbargebäude beeinträchtigt sein. In solchen Umgebungen ist eine Außen-/Dachantenne
erforderlich. Mobiler Empfang von DVB-T, z.B. im Auto oder Zug, ist im Allgemeinen nicht
möglich.
Um mögliche Schäden durch das magnetische Feld des Antennenfußes zu vermeiden, achten Sie
bitte auf austreichenden Abstand zu Festplatten und sonstigen magnetisch empfindlichen
Komponenten.
II. Computer anschließen (siehe Abbildung II)
•Bitte schließen Sie den PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick an einen USB 2.0-Port Ihres PCs an.
III. Software installieren
Sollte während der Installation das Dialogfenster “Neue Hardware hinzufügen” erscheinen, brechen
Sie dieses bitte ab.
•Legen Sie die Installations-CD-ROM in das entsprechende Laufwerk Ihres Computers ein. Die
Installation startet automatisch; bitte folgen Sie im weiteren Verlauf den Hinweisen des Setup-
Programms.
IV. Fernbedienung verwenden (siehe Abbildung III)
•Wenn Sie den PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick über die optional mitgelieferte Fernbedienung steuern
möchten, achten Sie bitte darauf, dass die Fernbedienung möglichst direkt auf das
PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick-Gehäuse gerichtet ist.

Installation et utilisation
I. Raccordement de l’antenne (voir illustration I)
•Reliez l’antenne tige fournie ou votre antenne domestique à l’entrée antenne du PCTV Hybrid Pro
Stick.
Remarque : si vous utilisez l’antenne tige fournie, placez-la le plus haut et le plus près possible de
la fenêtre.
La réception dépend du lieu et peut être compromise par des murs épais ou blindés, ainsi que par
les bâtiments voisins. Dans de tels cas, il est nécessaire d’avoir recours à une antenne
extérieure/sur le toit. Une réception mobile de la télévision numérique terrestre, par exemple en
voiture ou en train, n’est généralement pas possible.
Pour éviter tout dommage dû au champ magnétique du pied de l’antenne, veillez à le placer à une
distance suffisante de tout disque dur ou autre composant sensible sur le plan magnétique.
II. Raccordement de l’ordinateur (voir illustration II)
•Reliez le PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick à un port USB 2.0 de votre ordinateur.
III. Installation du logiciel
Si la boîte de dialogue « Ajouter un nouveau périphérique matériel » apparaît en cours d’installation,
veuillez la fermer.
•Insérez le CD-ROM d’installation dans le lecteur correspondant de votre ordinateur. L'installation
démarre automatiquement ; veuillez suivre alors les indications du programme d’installation.
IV. Utilisation de la télécommande (voir illustration III)
•Lorsque vous souhaitez commander le PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick à l’aide de la télécommande fournie
en option, veillez à ce que la télécommande soit dans la mesure du possible orientée directement
vers le boîtier du PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick.

Installation and Use
I. Attach antenna (see image I)
•Connect the provided rod antenna or your house antenna into the antenna port of your PCTV
Hybrid Pro Stick.
Note: If you use the supplied rod antenna, position as high and as close to the window as
possible. Reception depends on your location and can be impaired by steel-reinforced walls as
well as tall neighboring buildings. In this type of environment an external/roof antenna is required.
Mobile reception of DVB-T, e.g. in a car or train, is generally not possible. In Great Britain, in most
cases indoor reception with the provided rod antenna will not be possible. Please connect PCTV
USB Stick to your rooftop aerial using a double shielded antenna cable in order to get the best
possible signal quality.
To avoid possible damages from the magnetic field surrounding the antenna feet, maintain a
sufficient distance from any hard drives or other components that are sensitive to magnetic forces.
II. Computer connection (see image II)
•Plug the PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick into one of your PC USB 2.0 ports.
III. Software installation
If the “Add new hardware” dialog window appears during installation, press cancel.
•Place the installation CD-ROM into the appropriate CD drive from your PC. Installation will begin
automatically; then proceed by following the instructions provided by the setup program.
IV. Using the remote control (see image III)
•If you wish to operate your PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick by using the optional remote control, the remote
control should be aimed as directly as possible at the PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick casing.

Installatie en gebruik
I. Antenne aansluiten (zie afbeelding I)
•Sluit de meegeleverde staafantenne of uw huisantenne aan op de antenne-ingang van de PCTV
Hybrid Pro Stick.
Tip: Wanneer u de meegeleverde staafantenne gebruikt, plaats deze dan indien mogelijk hoog en
indien mogelijk in de buurt van het raam.
De ontvangst is afhankelijk van de positie en kan door dikke of met staal versterkte muren en
aangrenzende bebouwing worden beïnvloed. In dergelijke omgevingen is een buiten-/dakantenne
vereist. Mobiele ontvangst van DVB-T, bijvoorbeeld in de auto of trein, is over het algemeen niet
mogelijk.
Om mogelijke schade door het magnetische veld van de antennevoet te voorkomen, dient u
voldoende afstand tot harde schijven en andere magnetisch gevoelige componenten te bewaren.
II. Computer aansluiten (zie afbeelding II)
•Sluit de PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick aan op een USB 2.0-poort van uw PC.
III. Software installeren
Indien tijdens de installatie het dialoogvenster "Nieuwe hardware toevoegen" verschijnt, sluit dit dan.
•Plaats de installatie-CD-ROM in het desbetreffende station van uw computer. De installatie start
automatisch; volg hierna de aanwijzigen van het Setup-programma.
IV. Afstandsbediening gebruiken (zie afbeelding III)
•Als u de PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick via de optioneel meegeleverde afstandsbediening wilt bedienen,
zorg er dan voor dat u de afstandsbediening indien mogelijk rechtstreeks op de behuizing van de
PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick richt.

Installazione ed utilizzo
I. Collegamento dell’antenna (v. illustrazione I)
•Collegare l’antenna ad asta fornita in dotazione, o l’antenna di casa, all’ingresso antenna di PCTV
Hybrid Pro Stick.
Avvertenza: Se si utilizza l’antenna ad asta fornita in dotazione, si raccomanda di collocarla più in
alto possibile ed in prossimità di una finestra.
La ricezione dell’antenna dipende dall’ubicazione e può essere ostacolata da pareti spesse o
rinforzate in acciaio oppure da alti palazzi nelle vicinanze. In questi casi occorre utilizzare una
antenna esterna/da tetto. La ricezione mobile del segnale DVB-T, ad esempio in auto o in treno, in
generale non è possibile.
Per prevenire danni dovuti al campo magnetico prodotto dal sostegno dell'antenna, si
raccomanda di tenere l'antenna a debita distanza dai dischi rigidi e da altri componenti sensibili al
magnetismo.
II. Collegamento del computer (v. illlustrazione II)
•Collegare PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick ad una porta USB 2.0 del computer.
III. Installazione del software
Se durante l’installazione appare la finestra di dialogo “Installazione guidata hardware”, chiudere la
finestra.
•Inserire il CD-ROM di installazione nell'apposito drive del PC. L'installazione si avvia in modo
automatico; seguire le istruzioni del programma di installazione.
IV. Uso del telecomando (v. illustrazione III)
•Se si desidera controllare PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick con il telecomando in dotazione opzionale, occorre
puntare il telecomando direttamente sulla scatola di PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick.

Instalación y utilización
I. Conexión de la antena (véase el gráfico I)
•Conecte la antena de varilla suministrada o su antena colectiva a la entrada de antena del PCTV
Hybrid Pro Stick.
Nota: Si utiliza la antena de varilla suministrada, colóquela lo más alto posible y cercana a la
ventana.
La recepción depende de la ubicación y podría verse afectada si las paredes son gruesas o están
reforzadas con acero, o si hay edificios altos alrededor. En tales entornos es necesaria una antena
exterior o de tejado. Normalmente, no es posible recibir la señal de TDT durante los
desplazamientos (por ejemplo, en un automóvil o en el tren).
Para evitar posibles daños debidos al campo magnético de la base de la antena, procure guardar
una suficiente distancia respecto al disco duro y componentes a fuerzas magnéticas sensibles.
II. Conexión del ordenador (véase el gráfico II)
•Conecte el PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick a un puerto USB 2.0 de su PC.
III. Instalación del software
Si durante la instalación aparece el cuadro de diálogo “Agregar nuevo hardware”, ciérrelo pulsando
el botón Cancelar.
•Introduzca el CD-ROM de instalación en la unidad de CD del ordenador. La instalación se iniciará
automáticamente. A continuación, siga las indicaciones del programa de instalación.
IV. Utilización del mando a distancia (véase el gráfico III)
•Si desea utilizar el PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick mediante el mando a distancia adjunto, procure orientar
el mando a distancia lo más directamente hacia la carcasa del PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick.
