A . Ch eck t h e u n zip p ed f ile:
1 . Un zip t h e d ow n l oad ed f il e
Right click the downloaded file and select "Extract All" from the m enu to unzip the file.
2 . Ch eck t h e u n zip ped f il e
When the zip file is unzipped, the “DJM-2000_vx x x ” folder is generated.
Please ensure the following files are included in the folder.
1. DJM2000_vxxx.exe
2. DJM2000_vxxx.upd
x x x is the version of the new firm ware.
Ext ension ( .exe or .upd) m ight not be shown depending on your com put er set tings.
B . Set u p DJ M ix er f o r u p d at in g :
< STEP1 >
While holding [ ON/ OFF (BEAT EFFECT)] and [ ON/ OFF
(TOUCH PANEL EFFECT)] buttons, press the Power butt on to
go int o updat e m ode.
< STEP2 >
Please check the current version of your firmware by
checking the "Current version" on the touch panel.
( I f the current version, x . x x , is displayed, you do not need to
continue the update process.
The latest firmware has already been installed.)
< STEP3 >
Connect your com put er t o DJ Mixer using a LAN cable.
Connect the LAN cable to the port of [ COMPUTER 1 or 2] on the rear panel of your DJ Mixer.

< STEP1 > Open "Cont rol Panel" > "Net work and I nt ernet " > "Net work Connections".
< STEP2 > Open "Network and Sharing Center".
< STEP3 > Open "Change adapter setting".

< STEP4 > Open "Properties" of the network device where DJ Mixer is connected.
(Right click on t he icon > "Properties")
< STEP5 > Select "I nternet Prot ocol Version 4( TCP/ I Pv4) and click "Propert ies" .
< STEP6 > Select "Obt ain an I P address aut om at ically" and
"Obtain DNS server address aut om at ically".
< STEP7 > Press "OK" t o close t he Network Connections dialog box.

< STEP8 > Right click the task bar and select "Propert ies".
< STEP9 > Select "Notificat ion area" > "Cust om ize".
< STEP1 0 > Select "Show icon and notifications" for network.
< STEP1 1 > Close "Properties" by pressing the "OK" butt on.

Find an icon on the task bar (right-bottom of your screen) to identify the connection status.

Not Connected LAN cable is not connected.
Make sure t hat the cable is properly connected.
I dent ifying… I dent ifying connect ion.
Wait for the connection to be est ablished. It m ay take about one minute.
Unidentified
network
DJ Mixer is connected.
I t is ready to st art the update tool.
3 . St ar t u p d at i n g y o u r f ir m w ar e
Close all the applications before you st art updating.
Depending on the firewall setting of your security software and/ or operat ing syst em , your com put er
and m ixer m ay not be connect ed properly. I n such a case, you need to exem pt the update tool
(DJM2000_vxxx.exe) from your firewall sett ings.
Please cont act cust om er support of the security software provider and/ or operating system for
further details regarding firewall settings.
< STEP1 > Double click "DJM2000_vxxx.exe".
Start update tool.
< STEP2 > Select a language from the dropdown list and click "OK".
< STEP3 > Start updating by pressing "START".
DO NOT rem ove pow er cable and/ or LAN cable during the update.
I f the Connect dialog box keeps appearing for 30 seconds or longer, the network
connection m ight not be established. Press the "EXI T" button and try connecting the
network again to update.

< STEP4 > Make sur e t hat t he updat e process has been com plet ed.
The following "updat e com pleted" m essage appears when t he progress bar
on the touch panel reaches 100% .
< STEP5 > Restart DJ Mixer.
I f any changes w ere m ade in the above "1. Change network settings”of this chapter,
please restore the network settings t o the previous values.
