SET UP GUIDE
Your Pittman air bed has a built in air pump as well as a
2 Stage Valve. The 2 Stage Valve is used for optional
inflation and deflation.
This Valve is constructed in three parts:
1. Bladder valve with valve lip
2. Middle valve
3. Upper cap
INFLATION
1. Place your bed on a flat surface free of debris, obstructions and sharp
objects.
2. Spread the bed out so that it can fill easily. Allowing the bed to "unfold"
itself may place an unnecessary strain on the bed and the pump.
3. Make sure Middle Valve (2) and Upper Cap (3) are closed.
4. Turn inflate/deflate valve (B) on the built in pump to the “inflate”
position to inflate the bed.
5. Turn inflate/deflate valve to the “off” position once the desired firmness
has been achieved.

A
OPTIONAL INFLATION PROCEDURE
This Pittman air bed comes with a secondary inflate/deflate option (A) for use
with portable air pumps as a back up to the installed automatic pump. To use a
portable air pump, follow these instructions:
1. The middle valve (2) must be pushed in tightly to the bladder valve
(1). The upper cap (3) must be removed from the middle valve in
order to inflate.
2. Ensure inflate/deflate valve (B) is in the off position.
3. Insert portable pump into the middle valve (2). (Use proper pump
adapter fitting if needed)
3. Remove portable pump and switch off. (Middle valve (2) has a built
in stopper that will automatically close when pump is removed
stopping any air loss)
4. Replace the upper cap (3).
NOTE: For faster inflate open middle valve (2) and insert pump into bladder
valve (1) and fill until almost fully inflated. Once the bed is almost fully
inflated, close middle valve (2) then continue filling until desired firmness.
Close upper cap (3) when finished.
DEFLATION
1. Turn inflate/deflate valve (B) to the deflate position to deflate bed.
2. Deflate until bed is fully deflated. For faster deflation, you may open
the middle valve (2).
3. Turn inflate/deflate valve to the off postion to turn pump off.
4. Fold bed according to Folding Instructions below and place into
carrying bag and store until next use.

WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
Pittman Air Beds are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for
a period of thirty days from the date of purchase. Problems covered by the
warranty include failure of the pump, seams or the valve. Punctures or wear to
the bed due to use or abuse are not covered.
It is normal for an airbed that has been inflated for extended periods to require
the addition of air after a few days. Air will be lost from the bed through the
material over time. Also, cooling of the air around the bed will cause the air
inside the bed to contract, and the bed will be softer and may need refilling.
To receive a replacement air bed under Pittman Products International’s Thirty
Day Warranty, you will need to:
• Send entire product to Pittman Products International with a letter
stating:
- The nature of the problem with the bed and the model

• Cut from the box the UPC Symbol. (If the carton is not available, state
that you do not have the carton in the letter).
• Send us a copy of the original sales receipt.
The purchase date on the receipt must be within 30 days of the date you ship the
bed to us.
Please ship the bed, letter and copy of receipt, and UPC Symbol, via courier
