ThePMRWireless MusicSpeakerSystem (MusicSpeaker)
offers high sound quality using the latest innovations in
Bluetoothwirelesstechnology.Itwirelesslyplaysmusicfrom
a stereo source and also allows mobile phone calls to be
taken using its builtin microphone and speakers. Compact
size, slim design and a builtin microphone function help to
makeupafashionable,comfortable,stateoftheartpackage.
With it, you can listen to your favorite high quality music
without any wires, and if you get an incoming call on your
mobile phone, Music Speaker will switch audio to the call.
Youcanmakeoutgoingcallsandyoucancontrolthephone
call from the Music Speaker itself. You need never miss
anothercallwhileenjoyingyourmusic.

GETTINGTOKNOWYOURMUSICSPEAKER
Seeimageabove.Pleasenotesomemodelswilldifferslightlyin
style, colour and the functionality may vary according to their
specifications.
CHARGINGYOURMUSICSPEAKER
MusicSpeakercomeswithabuiltinhighcapacity rechargeable
battery.
TochargeMusicSpeaker
ConnecttheDCplugintoMusicSpeaker.TheamberLEDstays
oncontinuouslytoindicatethatchargingisinprogress.Once
thebatteryischarged,theamberLEDwillswitchoff.Youcan
chargethebatterywhethertheunitisofforinuse.
BatteryIndication:TheamberLEDcanturnoffafterlessthan
2hourscharging;thisnormallyindicatesthatMusicSpeakeris
readyforuse.However,fortheinitialcharge,itis
recommendedthatyouchargetheMusicSpeakerforat
least2hoursinordertofullypreparethebatteryfornormal
operation.
TURNINGMUSICSPEAKERON/OFF
TurnonMusicSpeaker
PushinthePowerbutton.ThetwoLEDs(BlueandAmber)will
starttoflashalternately.MusicSpeakerisnowturnedonandin
pairingmode.
TurnoffMusicSpeaker
Pushthepowerbuttonandreleaseit.
PAIRINGMUSICSPEAKERWITHASTEREOMUSICPLAYER
PairingistheprocedureforlinkingtwoBluetoothdevices.Before
youcanlistentostereomusicusingMusicSpeakeryoumustpair
itwithastereoplayersourcesuchasanMP3player,Bluetooth
mobilephoneorPC.
Pairingsteps:
lMakesureyourstereoplayersupportstheBluetoothAVprofile
(A2DP).(ForPCsorNotebooksyoumusthaveinstalleda
BluetoothdriverwhichsupportstheAVprofile/A2DP.)
lTurnonMusicSpeaker.Itwillgointopairingmode
automaticallyasindicatedbytheamberandblueLEDsflashing
alternately.
lPlacetheMusicSpeakerwithinafewmetersofthestereo
player.
lOnthestereoplayerinitiatethedevicediscoveryprocedure.

lAfterafewsecondsthestereoplayershoulddisplayMusic
Speaker’sBluetoothname:“BlueBox”.
lWhenpromptedbyyourstereoplayerenterthedefaultpincode

Note:ForsomeEmbeddedBluetoothaudiotransmitters,thepin
codeisfixedinthe firmware;theuserdoesn’tneedtoenterthis
pincode.However,thepincodemustbe“0000”
lWhenpairingiscomplete,theamberLEDwillswitchoffandthe
blueLEDwillblinkslowly.
TipsforPairingDevices:
1.Normallyyouonlyhavetopairwithastereoplayeronce.
AfterthatyousimplyswitchonMusicSpeakerandthestereo
player.
2.IfyouwanttouseMusicSpeakerwithastereoplayerand
yourmobilephoneyoushouldpairMusicSpeakerwithboth
devices.Whenpairingwithonedevice,pleasemakesurethe
otheroneisturnedofforitsBluetoothfunctionisturnedoff.
3.FormobilephonesthatsupportboththeHandsFreeprofile
andthe AVprofile,youonlyneedtopairMusicSpeaker
once.ThephoneshouldautomaticallyconnectwithMusic
Speakerusingtheappropriateprofile.
LISTENINGTOMUSIC
Beforeyoulistentomusic,makesureyourstereoplayerhas
alreadybeenconnectedtoMusicSpeaker.Simplyswitchboth
devicesonandMusicSpeakerwillautomaticallyplaymusicfrom
yourplayer.
Adjustingthevolume
Toincreasethevolume
ClicktheVolumeUpbutton+toincreasevolumeby1step.
Repeatthisuntilyouhavereachedthedesiredlevel.
Todecreasethevolume
PresstheVolumeDownbuttontodecreasevolumeby1step.

Using Music Speaker’s remote control feature you cancontrol
yourstereoplayerusingthebuttonsonMusicSpeakeritself.
Note:Thisfeatureisplayer dependent;pleasemakesureyour
playersupportsthe“AVRCP”RemoteControlprofileinorderto
usethisfeature.
Play/Pausecontrol
Click the Play/Pause button on Music Speaker. The stereo
playerwillswitchbetweenPlayandPauseateachclick.
PlayNext
Press the Next button. The stereo player will start to play the
nexttrackintheplay list.
PlayPrevious
Press the Previous button. The stereo player will start to play
theprevioustrackintheplaylist.

TalkbuttonfunctionisvalidonlywhenMusicSpeakerisbeing
usedinconjunctionwithamobilephone.Ifyouclickitbymistake
andmusicstopsplayingthenpressandholdtheTalkButton
againandreleaseitafteryouhearthebeeptogetmusicback
again.
PAIRINGMUSICSPEAKERWITHYOURMOBILEPHONE
PairingistheprocedureforlinkingtwoBluetoothdevices.You
needtopairyourMusicSpeakerwithyourmobilephonebefore
youcanuseMusicSpeakertoreceiveormakecalls.Afterpairing
iscompleteyoucanusetheMusicSpeakeronlywiththepaired
mobilephone.IfyouwishtouseMusicSpeakerwithadifferent
mobilephoneyoumustredothepairingprocesswiththenew
mobilephone.InthiscasetheMusicSpeakerwillnolongerwork
withthepreviousmobilephone.
PairingMusicSpeakerwithyourphone
Beforeyoucommencepairingensurethatthebatteriesonboth
yourmobilephoneandMusicSpeakerarefullycharged.
Pairingsteps:
l Turn on Music Speaker. It will go into pairing mode
automatically as indicated by the amber and blue LEDs
flashingalternately.
l Turnonyourmobilephoneandplaceitwithinafewmetersof
MusicSpeaker.
l Onyourphoneinitiatethedevicediscoveryprocedure.(Refer
to your phone’s user guide for details of how to initiate this
feature)
l After a few seconds your phone should display Music
Speaker’sBluetoothname:“BlueBox”.
l When prompted by your phone enter the default pin code
“0000”.
l Whenpairingis complete,the amber LED willswitch off and
theblueLEDwillblinkslowly.
Making,ReceivingandHandlingCalls
Tomakecallsfromyourmobilephone
Dialthecallfromyourmobilephone.Stereoplaybackwillstop
andthecallwillbeconnectedtoMusicSpeakerautomatically.
Tomakecallsusingvoicedialing
ClicktheTalkbuttononMusicSpeaker.Afteryouhearthevoice
dialtone,speakthenameofthepersonyouwishtocall.Thecall
isautomaticallyconnectedtoyourmobilephoneandMusic
Speaker.
Tomakecallsusinglastnumberredial
PressandholdtheVolumeUp+buttononMusicSpeakerfor
about2seconds.Releasethebutton.Thelastdialednumberwill
automaticallyconnecttoyourmobilephoneandMusicSpeaker.
Receivingcalls
Whenthereisanincomingcallyouwillheararingtonefrom
MusicSpeaker.ClicktheTalkbuttononMusicSpeakerandthe
callwillbeconnected.
Rejectcalls(ifsupportedbyyourmobilephone)
Whenthereisanincomingcallyouwillheararingtonefrom
MusicSpeaker.PressandholdtheTalkbuttononMusicSpeaker
formorethan2seconds.Thecallwillberejected.
Youcanalsorejectthecallonyourphonedirectly.
Muting/Unmutingcalls
WhileonacallpressintheMutebuttononMusicSpeaker.The
microphonewillbedisabled.Pressandreleasethebuttonto
activatethemicrophone.
Transfercalls
YoucantransferacallfromMusicSpeakertoyourmobilephone
handsetandfromyourhandsettoMusicSpeaker.Withthephone
callonMusicSpeaker,pressandholdTalkbuttonfor3seconds.
Thecallwillbetransferredtoyourmobilephone.
TogetthecallbackonMusicSpeakersimplyclicktheTalk
button.
Endingcalls
Whenyouwanttofinishacall,presstheTalkbuttononMusic
Speaker.Thecallwillbedisconnected.
