What is compass calibration?
Compass calibration allows the Waynder to
separate the earth’s eld from the magnetic elds
generated by your vehicle. Without calibration,
the unit displays inaccurate readings.
When do I calibrate the compass?
• When used for the rst time in a vehicle.
• When moved to a different location in the
same vehicle.
• When moved to a different vehicle.
• When the battery is removed (unless supplied
12-volt power source).
• When there has been a change to your vehicle
(ex. new stereo installation).
• When the degree symbol ashes continously,
indicating distortion.
