Simplied steps to pair your smart device with Amazon
Alexa and Google Home using Brightfun App

1. Download the application:
Download the BrightFun app by visiting Google Play or the App
Store, or scanning the codes below:
2. Create account
After installation, open the application and sign up by adding a
phone number or an email address and password.
3. Add device
• Turn on the device to be paired and make sure that the
device LED blinks.
Note: If the LED does not ash, reset the device by pressing
the on/o key for about 5 seconds.
• Open the application and click “Add devices”
• Choose the type of device from the list
• Select the Wi network you want to connect to, then enter
the network password
• Once the device has been connected, customize the name
of the device, then click the “Done”

4. Sync with Alexa and Amazon Echo
• Go to the “Home” menu in the Alexa app
• Select “Skills & Games“
• Enter “smartlife” in the search box
• Select the application “Smart Life”
• Click the “Enable” key
• Enter the authentication data that you used in the Brightfun
application
• The Brightfun application has synchronized with Alexa. Now
you can control any device added to Brightfun. Important: if you
rename the added device, choose a simple name that can be

easily recognized by Alexa.
Now you can control the intelligent device directly from Alexa
via the Amazon Echo Box.
Example of commands:
“Alexa, turn o bedroom light“
“Alexa, turn on bedroom light“
“Alexa, dim bedroom light“
“Alexa, set bedroom light to red“
5. Sync with Google Home
Before using Google Home, make sure you meet the following
conditions.
• A Google Home device or an Android phone with Google
Assistant
• The Google Home app installed on your phone
• A Google account
• The display language of the phone must be English
• The Brightfun app installed in your phone and an
associated account
• Intelligent devices added to the Brightfun application
Account Link in Home Control
• In the Google Home menu, go to the “Home Control”
menu, then touch “+”.
• Select Smart Life from the list, enter the login details in
the Brightfun application, then touch “Link now”. The added

devices will be displayed on the Home Control page.
Note: to control smart devices with Google Home, you need
the Google Home Smart Speaker.
6. Troubleshooting
Problems adding device
• Make sure the device is turned on;
• Verify that your phone is connected via Wi-Fi;
• Make sure the device is ready for setup.
Note: Every time you add a device, reset Wi-Fi and make sure
the router is working properly.
• Check routers or other related devices: if the router is dual-
band, select the 2.4G network and add the device. You also
need to enable the router’s broadcasting function.
Congure the wireless router: set the encryption method as
WPA2-PSK and the authorization type as AES or set both on
auto. Wireless can not be just 11n.
To have a strong Wi-Fi signal, keep a short distance between
the device and the router.
Check if the router has reached the maximum number of
connections. If so, try to stop the Wi-Fi connection of a device.
Check if the wireless MAC ltering feature of the router is
enabled. Remove the device from the list of lters and make
sure the router does not prohibit the connection of the device.
• Make sure that the password entered in the application is
correct when adding a new device.

7. Reset the device
Long press the On / O󰀨 key for 5 seconds. The blue LED
ashes representing a successful reset.
8. Q&A
• I can control the device with a 2G/3G/4G network?
When you add your device for the rst time, your device
and your phone need to be in the same Wi-Fi network. After
successfully adding the device, you can control the device
remotely with a 2G/3G/4G network.
• How can I share my device??
Open the application, go to “Prole Sharing” - “Sharings Sent,”
click on “Add Sharing,” then you can share the device with
other members added by phone number or email address.
• How do I control the devices shared by others?
Open the application, go to “Sharing Received,” and you can
nd shared devices from other users. It also allows you to
add notes to users or delete certain shared objects by long
pressing or by dragging left.

1. Descargar la aplicación:
Descargue la aplicación Bright Fun visitando Google
Play o App Store, o escaneando los códigos mostrados a
continuación:
2. Crear una cuenta
Después de la instalación, abra la aplicación y regístrese
agregando un número de teléfono o una dirección de correo
electrónico y una contraseña.
3. Agregar dispositivo
• Encienda el dispositivo y asegúrese que la luz del
dispositivo parpadea.
Nota: Si la luz led no parpadea, reinicie el dispositivo pulsando
durante 5 segundos la tecla on/o.
• Abra la aplicación y pulse “Add devices“
• Elija en la lista mostrada el tipo de dispositivo
• Seleccione la red Wi a la que desea conectarse, después
introduza la contraseña de la red
• Una vez que el dispositivo se haya conectado, personalice
el nombre del mismo y después pulse la tecla “Done“

4. Sincronización con Alexa y Amazon Echo
• Acceda al menú “Home” en la aplicación Alexa
• Seleccione “Skills & Games“
• Introduzca “smartlife” en la barra de busqueda
• Seleccione la aplicación “Smart Life”
• Haga click en la tecla “Enable“
• Introduzca losi datos de autenticación que habeís ya
utililizado en la aplicación Brightfun
• La aplicación Brightfun se ha sincronizado con Alexa.
Ahora ya puede contralar cualquier dispositivo añadido en
Brightfun. Importante: si renombra el dispositivo agregado,

elija un nombre sencillo, que sea fácil de detectar para Alexa.
Ahora puede controlar el dispositivo inteligente directamente
desde Alexa, mediante el Altavoz Amazon Echo.

5. Sincronización con Google Home
Antes de utilizar Google Home, asegurense de que cumpla
las siguentes condiciones.
• Un dispozitivo Google Home o un teléfono con Android o
Google Assistant
• Las aplicaciones Google Home instaladas en el teléfono
• Una cuenta Google
• La lengua del teléfono tiene que ser el Inglés
• La aplicación Brightfun tiene que estar instalatada en su
teléfono y tener una cuenta asociada
• Tener dispozitivos inteligente añadidos en la aplicación

Vinculación cuenta en Home Control
• En el menú de la aplicación Google Home, acceda al
menú “Home Control“, después pulse “+”.

• Seleccione de la lista Smart Life, introduzca los datos de
autenticación en la aplicación Brightfun, después haga click
en “Link now“(Vincular ahora). Los dispositivos agregados se
mostrarán a continuación en la página Home Control.
Nota: para poder controlar los dispositivos inteligentes con
Google Home, necesita el Altavoz Google.
6 . Problemas y soluciones
Error añadir dispositivo
• Verique si el dispotivo esté encendido;
• Verique si el teléfono está conectado a una red Wi-Fi;
• Verifque que el dispositivo esté listo para congurarse.
Nota: Cada vez que añada un dispositivo reinicie Wi-Fi y
asegúrese de que el enrutador funcione correctamente.
• Verique los routers ú otros dispositivos relacionados: si
el router es de doble banda seleccione la red 2.4G y añada el
dispositivo. A la vez, hay que activar la opción de broadcasting
del router.
Congure el routerul wireless( inalambríco): ajuste el método
de encriptado como WPA2-PSK y el tipo de autorización
como AES o ponga ambas en automático. El modo wireless
no puede ser solo 11n.
Para tener una señal Wi-Fi fuerte, mantenga el dispositivo
relativamente cerca del router.
Verique que el router no haya alcanzado el número máximo
de conexiones.
