Don't dismantlethe UPS cover,thereisdangerofelectricshock.
Don’t touchbatteries. Batteriesarenotisolated withthe input circuit,thereishigh voltage between the
battery terminalsand ground.
Don’t connect withthe electricequipment suchasblower, heater, drilling machine etc.Theymaydamage
the UPS.

1.2. System andmodeldescription
Honline seriesisan uninterruptiblepowersupplyincorporating double-conversiontechnology. Itprovides
perfect protection specificallyforcomputerequipmentcommunication systemstocomputerized instruments.
Itstrue online double-conversion design eliminatesallmainspowerdisturbances.Arectifierconvertsthe
alternating currentfromthe utilitypowertodirectcurrent. Thisdirectcurrentchargesthe batteriesand
powersthe inverter.Onthe basisofthisDC voltage,the invertergeneratesapuresinusoidalACvoltage,
whichisconstantlypowering the loads.
Computersand peripheralsarethuspowered entirelybythe UPS.Intheeventofpowerfailure,the
maintenance-free batteriespowerthe inverter.

2.1. Unpacking andinspection
1).When unpacking the UPS,pleasepayattention tothe packing mode and theannexinwhichincludes
user-manual, warrantycard, input powercable, output wiring socket. Thereshouldalsohavean external
battery connection cableifthe model of yourequipmentisoflong backup type.
2). Inspect yourmachine tosee whetherit'sdamaged in the transportation.If damaged orsomeparts
missing, pleasedon't start up yourUPS.
3). Checkifthe equipmentisjustwhat you wanted topurchase. You canaffirmthrough inspecting the model
numberon backpanelof the equipment.
2.2. Safetynotes
1). Keep good aircirculation around UPS and farawayfromwater,flammablegasand corrosive.
2). Don't placeUPSon the slope and thereshouldkeep good aircirculation between in-vent on front panel
bottomand fan outventon back panel.
3). The environmenttemperaturearound UPSshouldkeep inarange of 0℃~40℃.
4).Therewillbe phenomena ofcondensing iftheequipmentisdismantled orinstalled underlowtemperature.
The equipmentcan't be installed unless itisfulldryatinternaland externalof the equipment,otherwise,
therewillbe dangerof electric.
5). The socketthat suppliespowertoUPS shouldbe placed nearthe UPS and easy.

LCD panelsection
●The firstline isthe numericsection, and isconsistedoftwosmallnumericsectionsand the related unit
section on the right side.Itisused todisplaythe numerical value ofthe certainitemon the second line.
●The second line isthe section ofthe itemswhichinclude input, battery,output,load and temperature,etc.
●The thirdline isthe figuresection whichisconsisted withtwoparts, thepartson the leftshowsthe
working statusofUPS, thepartson the right showsthe load capacity(on the top)and batterycapacity(on
the bottom)byschematicfigure.
LEDpanelsection
●PowerON/OFF: toturnon the UPS simplybypressing the “ON”button on the frontpanel
continuouslyfor1second.Press the “OFF”button on the frontpanelcontinuouslyfor1second to
turnoffthe UPS.
●BypassLED(orange LED): wheneverthe bypassLEDisturned on, itshowsthat the loading current
issupplied directlyfromthe utilitypower.
●UtilitypowerLED(green LED):wheneverthe utilitypowerLEDisturnedon,itshowsthatthe utility
powerisnormal.
●InvLED(green LED):wheneverthe INVLEDisturned on,itshowsthatthe loading currentis
supplied fromutilitypowerorbattery via the inverter.
●BatteryLED(orange LED):wheneverthebatteryLEDisturned on,itshowsthattheloadingcurrent
issupplied frombatteryviathe inverter.
●FaultLED(red LED):wheneverthe faultLEDisturned on,itshowsthattheUPSisinabnormal
condition.

The batteriescan't be moreorless connected, otherwiseUPS will work abnormal orbe damaged.Battery
voltage forH1KLis36VDC;forH2KLis96VDC;forH3KLis96VDC.
2). One end of externalbattery cableisconnected toUPS;the otherend isopen styletwocablesused to
connect tobattery pack.The process ofconnecting battery isveryimportant.Operatormust obeythe
instructions.

A.Firstconnect battery group inseriesand ensurecorrect batteryvoltage.
B.Extended battery cablemustbe connected tobatteryfirst(do notconnecttoUPSfirst; otherwisetherewill
be dangerof(electricshock). Red cableconnectwithbattery anode “+”and black cableconnectwith
cathode”–“.
C. Don't connectanyload toUPS,put through utilitytoUPS afterthe input wirehasbeen connected well.
D. Afterplug the battery extended cableintoUPS battery socket, the connection iscompleted,atthe same

3. Operation andoperating mode
3.1.Operation
3.1.1.Operation on utilitymode
1). Onceutilityisplugged in,the internalchargerstartstocharge batteries, atthispointthe yellowLEDis
on and LCD statusfigureshowsblock LINE”and “BATTERY”and the outputvoltage iszero,whichmeans
UPS hasno output.
2). Press and holdthe ON/OFFbutton formorethan 2secondstoturnon the UPS,then it willturnon the
internal inverter.
3). Onceturned on,the UPSwillperformaself-testfunction,when the green LEDlightson, LCD status
figureshowsblock “LINE”and “INV”and “BATTERY”,thatmeansUPS isworking inutilitymode.
3.1.2. Startup UPS byDC when utilityisdisconnected
1).When utilityisdisconnected, press and holdthe ON/OFFbutton formorethan 2secondstocoldstart
the UPS.
2). The coldstart isthe sameoperation aswhen UPS isstarted withthe utilityin, and LCD statusfigure
showsblock “BATTERY”and “INV”,whichmeansUPS isworking inbattery mode.
3.1.3.Turnoff UPSinutilitymode
1). Press and holdthe ON/OFFbutton formorethan 2secondstoturnoff the UPS,then it willturnoff the
internal inverter.
2)When turning off the UPS,UPS willrun aself-testfunction,green LEDwillbe off and yellowLEDwillbe
on, LCD statusfigureshowsblock ”LINE”and “BATTERY”, whichmeansUPS hasno output butstillcharge
the battery.
3.1.4.Turnoff UPSinbatterymode
1). Press and holdthe ON/OFFbutton formorethan 2secondstoturnoff the UPS.
2).When turningoff the UPS,UPSwillrunaself-test function,UPShasnooutputoncethereisno display

3.1.5. UPSself-test/mutetest operation
1).When UPSison utilitymode, press andholdthe FUNCTIONbutton for1second,the buzzerwillsound
onceevery4seconds, the LEDlightslightaround at thesametimeasthe UPS runsself-testing, and itwill
lastfor10 seconds.
2).When UPS ison batterymode,the buzzerstopsbeeping if you press and holdthe FUNCTIONbutton
for1second, and it will restart tobeep if you press and holdthe ON/OFF button forone moresecond.
*Off–charging model
Whenutilityison and the UPSisnotswitched on, then the LCD statusfigurewill showblock “LINE”and
“BATTERY”, without output. The UPSwillcharge the battery inthismode.

1).Ifthe INPUT lettersinthe itemsection (thesecond rowon LCD display) flashes,itindicatesthe line and
neutralareincorrect.
2). Ifload capacitygraph inthe graphicsection (thethirdrowon LCD display) flashes, yellowLEDison
and the buzzerbeepsoncehalf second, itremindsthat UPS carriesover100% load and you shouldremove
the unnecessary load untilthe displayed load isbelow100%.
3).Ifbattery capacitygraph inthe graphicsection (the thirdrowon LCD display) flashes,yellowLEDison,
itremindsthat UPSisdisconnected withbatteriesorbattery voltage islow, and you shouldfirstlycheck
whetherthe battery connection isok, ifyes, the batteriesmaybe fault and need tobereplaced.You can
pressthe FUNCTIONbutton for1second todo the manualself-test, formoredetailspleaserefertothe
troubleshooting table.
3.2.2. Batterymode
Onbatterymode,the indication and displaysareasfollowing figure:

1). Onbatterymode,the buzzerwillbeep onceevery 4secondstoprovide an audiblealarm, press and
holdthe function button formorethan 1second,the buzzerwillstop beeping,press and holdthe FUNCTION
button forone moresecond, the buzzerwillbeep again.
2). If battery capacitygraph inthe graphicsection(the thirdrowon LCD display)flashes, yellowLEDison,
the buzzerbeepsonceevery second,it meansthe battery voltage isdischarged tominimumprotection
voltage,and remindsusersthat the batterycapacityisdiminished and shouldsavealldataand worksand
then switchoff the equipments.

3). You can test UPS backup function bydisconnectingthe utility.
4). Ifthe INPUTlettersintheitemsection (the second rowon LCD display) flashes, it meansthe input
voltage orfrequency isbeyond the extension.

3.2.6. Batterymaintenance
ThisseriesUPSonlyrequiresminimalmaintenance.The batteryused forstandardmodelsarevalue
regulated sealed lead-acidmaintenancefree battery.Thesemodelsrequireminimalrepairs.Theonly
requirementistocharge the UPS regularlyinordertomaximizethe expected lifeof the battery.When being
connected tothe utilitypower,whetherthe UPSisturned on ornot,the UPS keepscharging the batteries
and alsooffersthe protectivefunction ofovercharging and over-discharging.
lThe UPS shouldbe charged onceevery4to6monthsif it hasnot been used foralong tine.
lInthe regionsofhotclimates,thebatteryshouldbecharged and discharged every2months.The
standardcharging timeshouldbe atleast 12 hours.
lUndernormal conditions,the battery lifelasts3to5years.Incaseifthe battery isfound notingood
condition,earlierreplacementshouldbe made.Batteryreplacementshouldbe performed byqualified
personnel.
lReplacebatterieswiththe samenumberand sametypeofbatteries.
lDo notreplacethebatteryindividually.Allthe batteriesshouldbereplacedatthesametimefollowing
toe instructionsof the battery supplier.
Normally,the batteriesshouldbe charged and discharged onceevery4to6months.Charging should
beginafterthe UPSshutsdownautomaticallyinthe courseofdischarging,the standardcharging timeforthe
standardUPS shouldbe atleast 12 hours.

4. Notes forbattery disposal andbattery replacement
●The battery of standardunitisofvalveregulated, maintenancefree.Itcan attainexpectantlifeonlyby
keeping frequent charging. Regardless ofUPS on oroff when UPS connectstoutilitypower, the battery is
charged allthe timeand UPSoffersprotection forover-charge and over-discharge.
●Normallythe battery lifeisthree tofiveyearsand the battery must bereplaced ahead oftimeoncethere
presentsanyabnormal status. The batteryreplacement must onlybe performed byqualified personnel.
●It isinadvisabletoreplaceasinglebattery.Operatorshouldobeythe instruction of battery distributor
whenreplacing allbatteries.
●The batteriesshouldbe charged and discharged onceeveryfourtosixmonths. AfterUPS discharged to
off,the batteriesshouldbe recharged. The charge timeofstandardunit must be morethan 12 hours.
●The battery must be charged and discharged onceeverytwomonthsinhigh-temperaturearea.The
charge timeofstandardunitsmust be morethan twelvehours.
1.Ifitisnecessary toreplaceanyconnection cables,pleasepurchasethe originalmaterialsfromthe
authorized distributorsorservicecenters, soastoavoid overheat orspark resulting infiredue toinsufficient
capacity.
2. Do not disposeofbatteriesorbatterypacksinafire,theymayexplode.
3.Do notopen ormutilatebatteries,released electrolyteishighlypoisonousand harmful tothe skinand
eyes.
4. Do not short the positiveand negativeof the battery electrode, otherwise, itmayresultinelectricshock
orfire.
5.Makesurethatthereisno voltage beforetouching the batteries. The batterycircuitisnotisolatedfrom
