IS
TOO
LOUD?
Polk headphones are capable
of
reproducing excellent musical detail, even at
lower
volume
levels.
You
should limit prolonged exposure
to
volumes that exceed 85 decibels (dB). Regular
exposure
to
sound
over
100
dB
for
morethan 1 minute risks permanent hearing loss. For
more

TheActive Noise Cancelation feature in yourUltra Focus
headphones requires
two
(2)
size
AAA
batteries. To install
the batteries, open the battery compartment located on
the left earcup, placefingertips in
two
depressions
and
twist
cover counterclockwise. Insert the batteries; note
thecorrect polarity. Close
the
battery compartment.
LOW
BAITERY
INDICATOR
The batteryindicatorwill shine blue when the battery
is fully charged. When thebatteryneeds
to
be
replaced,
theindicatorwill change color, alternating from blue
to
red.
REPLACING
THE
EAR
CUSHIONS
To
remove
the
earcushions, hold
the
ear
cup
,
twist
theearcushion counterclockwise
and
pull awayfrom
theearcups. Twist and
lock
the
new
earcushions
onto
theearcups. You can obtain replacement earcushions
as accessories.

PUSH- TO-HEAR AMBIENT CONTROL
The push-to-hearambient control, which is located on the control cup of the headphone,
mutes your music and amplifies outside sounds so you can hearwithout removing the
headphones. Push again to go back to your music. NOTE: While usingVOLUME +
or the VOLUME -buttons, the push-to-hearambient control volume will not change.
ADJUSTING THE ULTRAFOCUS8000LE HEADBAND
For optimum performance, you want your headphones to fit snugly and create a comfortable
yet effectiveseal around your ears. A proper fit ensures the best sound and effective noise
reduction from outside sources. The design adjusts
to fit any size head.
The headband should sit flat across the top of your head. Adjust the headband as necessary
by evenly pulling on metal slides to conform around your ears. The headphone earcushions
should completely surround
your ears. This indicates a good fit, which means outside sounds
should be muffled.
