THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING POLSEN.
Polsen’s SP-260 2×6 Stereo Distribution Switcher routes line-level
audio signals from two sources, like a mixing board or playback device,
to six pairs of speakers or headphones. The SP-260 allows you to
distribute the sound and adjust the volume for each individual zone
or location. This is ideal for ofces and homes where different audio
programs play in different rooms, or for large spaces that need more
than two speakers. The unit is equipped with balanced XLR inputs and
outputs that assure an audio signal that’s free of distortion from EMI
and RFI, even with long cable runs. For control over audio quality, the
SP-260 has level indicators that display signal strength for all input and
output channels.

a safe place.

•Exposure to high sound levels can cause permanent hearing loss.
Avoid listening at high volumes for extended periods of time.
•Use only parts provided by the manufacturer.

OVERVIEW
1. Input Level Indicators
Displays the signal level of the connected devices.
•-24 indicates a weak signal level.
•0 indicates a strong signal level.
•Clip indicates a level that’s too high and distorted.
2. Output Level Indicators
Displays the output signal level for each individual pair of
speakers or headphones.
3. Input Volume Knobs
Adjusts the volume of the devices connected to the Line 1 and
Line 2 inputs. The volume should be set so the Clip indicator
does not light up at the loudest moments.
4. Output Volume Knobs
Adjusts the volume of each individual pair of connected
speakers or headphones.
5. Mono/Stereo Selector
Selects the playback mode of each individual pair of speakers
or headphones.
•In stereo mode, the green indicator lights up.
•In mono mode, the yellow indicator lights up.
Note:Mono mode is a good option when the input signal is
stereo, but the left and right speakers are placed far apart or in
different rooms. It’s also a good option when monitoring audio
that’s recorded on discrete channels, like dialogue.
6. Power Switch
7. AC Power Input
8. XLR Outputs
Use the balanced XLR outputs to connect the SP-260 to a
power amplifier, powered speakers, or headphone amplifier.
9. XLR Inputs
Use the balanced XLR inputs to connect line-level sources
such as a mixing board, preamp, or playback device.
