GSM MODEM CONFIGURATION

This manual can be used with boilers KP 10, 11, 20, 21, 50, 51
Hardware installation:
A) Remove front top cover of boiler
B) Open control unit box by 4x phillips screws
C) insert small PCB converter into socket of power board inside control unit
D) close control unit box and mount front boiler cover
E) interconnect GSM module with boiler (9-pin Cannon cable)
F) plug antene into GSM module
G) plug 12VDC adaptor into socket and GSM module
H) insert SIM card into GSM module
Configuration:
a) enter Main menu by pressing Enter button
b) set menu 8.GSM modem
c) turn modem on in menu 1.
d) Set your mobile number at menu „2.Mobil No.1“with international prefix (without 00 or +)
and confirm it by Enter button
e) Restart control unit by turning off and on again with main switch
f) After welcome screen „Ponast xxxx“display shows in short time period text:
„searching GSM“
„GSM found“
„GSM modem O.K.“
g) Enter again into menu „8.GSM modem“

h) Enter again in menu „2.Mobil No.1“and check if the number you´ve inserted is correct
i) Confirm by pressing Enter button
j) Control unit asks you: „O.K. call?“
k) Confirm by pressing Enter and display shows „dialling..“
l) Your mobile phone will start to ringing
m) Pressing Enter button will stop the call
n) Return into main display by escape button
Connection confirmation:
1) Send text message in format: “STATUS”to number of SIM card you´ve inserted into GSM
module
2) After few seconds display reads:
“SMS STATUS” and “SMS send”
3) You´ll receive text message in format:
DISPLAY=”MANUAL HH:MM”T=025 PT=1 BT=0 MODULACE=1 Pon=05 Poff=45 V=45
Note: DISPLAY……… actual mode or text on display and actual CU time
T………………….actual boiler water temperature
PT………………..room thermostat input activated=1 or disconnected=0
BT………………..hot water tank activated=1 or disconnected=0
MODULACE…modulation mode enabled=1 or disabled=0
Pon…………….. time of running feeder 1 in actual program
Poff……………..time of pause of feeder 1 in actual program
V………………….value of primary fan in atual program in %
Note 2 : If you´re using pre-paid SIM card, you´ll need to insert also number for your account balance.
This can be done in menu 8.GSM modem/4.Credit No.
Then you´ll receive in SMS also balance of your sim card.
