Thank you for purchasing the Poniie Wi-Fi Wireless Power Usage Monitor.
Please read this manual carefully before using this product.

The new designed device is able to measure Watts (active power)/VA (apparent
power), kWh (Energy usage with hold over circuit memory), Cumulative
Working Time & Elapsed Time (with hold over circuit memory), Current
(true RMS), Voltage (true RMS), Power Factor (as Watts/Vrms*Arms),
Frequency (Hz) and Cost (Forecast in Hour, Day, Month or Year).
This Plug Monitor is also designed with Wi-Fi wireless connectivity capabilities.
Now you can add PN2500 to the Smart Life app to check all the parameters that
mentioned above and set certain necessary parameters.
Warning
To avoid electric shock or personal injury, read the “Safety Information”
carefully before using the Monitor.
1. Be sure to read, understand and follow all the instructions in this manual.
2. Before using this product, check to see if there are any cracks or missing
plastic parts on the casing, and be aware of the insulation around connectors.
Before using this product, check to see if there is any crack or short of plastic
parts on the shell, pay attention to the insulation around the connectors. Do not
use the product if it is damaged.
3.DO NOT use the equipment in wet environments, keep your hands dry.

4. DO NOT operate the monitor around explosive gas, vapor or dust.
5. DO NOT open the case of the meter or alter the internal circuit of the meter.
6. DO NOT allow children to operate this device, keep children stay away
from the monitor.
7. DO NOT use or store the device in an environment of high temperature,
humidity, explosive or inflammable field. The performance of the meter may
deteriorate after dampened.
8. NOTE: The monitor works with all standard power supply, an inferior
quality power source (with too much harmonic distortion) such as unqualified
inverter may cause damage or shorten device’s lifespan.
1 Download Smart Life App
Please scan the QR code or download Smart Life on App store.
2 Registration or Log in your account
Enter the Register/Login interface, tap “Register” to create an account or
choose “Log in” if you already have a Smart Life account.
3 Configure the Monitor to the App

Preparation: Plug the monitor into powered outlets to power on the
device automatically; ensure your phone has been connected to the same
Wi-Fi (Internet connection required) and put your phone as close as
possible to the PN2500 Monitor.
Note: The App requires Bluetooth for the initial connection or new
connections.
Note: The Monitor only supports 2.4G network. Make sure you have a
2.4G compatible network.
Then open Smart Life App and Click “add device” or “+” to add PN2500.
Note: the prompt page will automatically show the device on the top
screen. If no searching device found, please try to reset or re-pair Wi-Fi.
How to reset/re-pair Wi-Fi
Press and hold the “WiFi” key on PN2500 for 5 seconds to disconnect or
repair with the phone app. Wi-Fi indicator on the screen will flash for pair
connection. Remove device in the app will totally reset the WiFi code.
1. Backlight setting function
Press “Wi-Fi” key to turn on/off backlight. You can also turn on or turn off the
backlight through App settings.
2. Button instruction

1Rate

The rate is based on billed kWh. Press “Rate” key to show the billed kWhs
(Default is $ 0.125/kWh). Press and hold “Rate” key to enter setting mode.
Press “▼” or “▲” to adjust value and press “↔” key to shift the setting
numbers. After all adjustment done, please press and hold “OK” key to save
and exit setting. You can also set the Rate through App-Settings.

2 Cost
Costs are forecasted in hour, day, week, month, and year. The longer the
appliance monitored by PN2500, the better accuracy you get. You can press
“Cost” key to check in month, week, day, year and hour or check it through
App-Settings.

3 kWh/T
Short press this key to check through Energy usage-C.E.C, cumulative
working time-C.T and elapsed time-E.T.
C.T means the cumulative time when there is a load working. E.T means
elapsed time after the monitor powered up.
Press and hold this key to reset Energy, C.T and E.T to 0. You can also reset
them through App-Settings.

4 W/VA/OK
Short press this key to check through Watts, Max Watts and VA. Watts mean
real-time active power of appliance. Max Watts mean the maximum power
since the monitor was powered up. VA means the real-time apparent power.

Overload alarm setting: Press and hold ”W/VA/OK” key to enter overload
limit setting (Default value is 2500W ). Press “▼” or “▲” to adjust value and
press “↔” key to shift the setting numbers. After all adjustments are done,
press and hold “OK” key to save and exit setting. You can also set the overload
alarm through App-Settings.

5 PF/Hz/↔
Press this key to check between Power Factor (PF) and AC Frequency (Hz).

6V/▲- A/▼
Press “V/▲” key to check between power voltage and maximum voltage value
since the monitor was powered up.
Press “A/▼” key to check between power current and maximum current value
since the monitor was powered up.

IMPORTANT:
1) Please do not overload (3000W at 120V) the device at any time. Failure to
comply with the instructions given in this manual and/or using the device in ways
other than the ones mentioned in this manual may result in serious injury and/or
damage to the product.
2) The inner and outer device material is made of high heat resistance ABS
fireproofing material. If the load power is large and working for a long time, the
inside monitor may feel hot, which is normal, please rest assured. If use open
flame to light the material, it will be extinguished immediately when the flame
is removed. Still, you need to use this device carefully to avoid any fire hazard.
The warranty period for quality related issues of this product is one year. If the
device does not operate properly or has any other faults, please always feel free
to contact Poniie Customer Service at any time. We will provide you with best
service and do our best to help you.
