Instruction Manual for the Aeration Cannon
General Information: This manual provides detailed instructions for the proper installation of our
Aeration Cannon. It is crucial to follow these instructions carefully, as failure to do so will result
in the voiding of the warranty.
Installation:
1. Place the Aeration Cannon approximately 1-2 feet away from the pool's edge, near the
deep end.
2. Extend the yellow electrical cord from the receptacle to the Aeration Cannon. To prevent
tripping hazards, coil any excess cord neatly at the receptacle.
3. Rotate each nozzle to the left to open them. Similar to a garden hose nozzle, turning them
fully outward will create a straight spray, while rotating them fully inward will produce a
wider spray pattern.
4. Lift the cam arms, seat the cam onto the fittings, and push the cam arms down to lock
them in place, securing the suction hose.
5. Plug the yellow cord into the dedicated receptacle.
6. Confirm that the GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) is turned on by checking for a
green light on the display.
7. Remove the pump strainer cover.
8. Fill the strainer basket with water from a bucket or garden hose to prime the Aeration
Cannon.
9. Swiftly replace the strainer cover and activate the Aeration Cannon using the waterproof
switch. Water will fill the strainer basket and begin spraying out of the nozzles. Once
primed, there should be minimal to no air visible through the strainer cover.
10. Adjust the nozzles to ensure the waterfalls land in the middle of the pool towards the
shallow end. This will minimize water loss caused by overspray.

Use & Care:
Operate the Aeration Cannon for 8-12 hours per night to achieve a noticeable reduction in water
temperature. When used during the day or if swimmers are present, please supervise the Aeration
Cannon. At night, many facilities activate it before leaving and turn it off the next morning.
Consistent nighttime use ensures adjustable pool cooling throughout the summer. Keep in mind
that various factors, such as elevation, geographical location, humidity, breezes, air temperatures,
and pool depth, can influence water temperatures.
Maintenance: To ensure long-term cooling and optimal performance, follow these maintenance
steps:
• Regularly clean the strainer basket.
• Inspect the triple suction and remove any debris.
• If used in a saltwater pool, wipe down and rinse the Aeration Cannon after each use.
Storage & Winterization:
• Drain all water from the pump by unscrewing the two drain plugs at the base.
• Remove the suction hose assembly.
• Take out the gasket from the inlet and outlet. Store these items, along with all drain
plugs, in the strainer basket for easy installation in the next season.
• Coil the GFCI cord.
• Avoid covering or wrapping the pump with plastic film or bags to prevent condensation
and corrosion issues.
• Do not store the Aeration Cannon near any pool chemicals.
Troubleshooting:
1. Cord in line GFCI tripping: Solution: Press the reset button on the cord in line GFCI.
2. Droopy nozzles: Solution: Tighten the knobs on the bottom of each elbow. Be cautious
not to unscrew them, as it may cause the ball bearing to fall out.
