SUPERVISION OF THIS EQUIPMENT IS ESSENTIAL TO HELP REDUCE THE POSSIBILITY OF ACCIDENTS OR
INJURIES.
1. Check all parts against Parts List on opposite side to make sure all have been included.
2. Begin by assembling upright
tubes (2) to bases (4) using
5/16" x 2-1/4" lg. eye-bolt
(5), 5/16" flatwasher (6) and
5/16" locking cap nut (7)
thru pre-drilled holes in
upright tube and base. See
Detail “A”.
3. At each end of the crossbar tube (1), place a
piece of tape 1-3/8" from the end of the tube.
Assemble a 90°elbow (3) to each end of the
crossbar tube (1) by sliding them along the
crossbar tube until the ends of the elbows are
even with the tape. Tighten the setscrews on
both elbows securely. See Detail “B”.
4. At the top end of each upright tube (2), place a
piece of tape 1-3/8" from the end of the tube.
Assemble the 90°elbows (3) [from Step No.
3] to the top end of each upright tube (2) by
sliding them along the tube until the end of the
elbow is even with the tape. Rotate the upright
tubes until the crossbar is at a right-angle to
the bases, and the eye-bolts are pointed toward
the inside of the goal (see the detail on the
opposite side). Tighten the setscrew on each
elbow securely. See Detail “B”.
5. Safety glasses must be worn for this step. Assemble the net (7) to the frame using the three net cords. The two 8'-0" lg. net cords
(8) are used on the sides of the goal. The 17'-6" lg. net cord (9) is used along the top of the goal. Assemble the two side cords
first. At the bottom end of each upright, hook one end of the cord to the eye-bolt. Weave the cord around the hem of the net and
the frame, skipping every other square in the netting. At the other end, wrap the cord around the frame again, and hook it onto
itself. Repeat for the top net cord. See detail on opposite side. The assembly of the goal is now complete.
6. Note – Training Soccer Goal may be used indoors, using optional No. 00411-060 Floor Padding Kit, to protect finished floors.
