The Grinder (functions as a Mincer as well)
e. Place ingredients (except Nutmeg & glutinous substances) into the Stainless
Steel Grinder Cup. Screw the Grinder Lid clockwise to the Cup. Plug in the
power cable, switch it on, turn the Speed Rotary Knob to ‘1’ or ‘2’ and grind.
Grind for NOT more than 30 seconds without interruption, resting for 2
minutes with a maximum of 3 cycles before resting for 15 minutes.
On completion of grinding, turn the Speed Rotary Knob to ‘0’ (OFF), switch off
the wall switch and unplug the power cable. Wait for the blades to stop turning
and unscrew the Stainless Steel Grinder Cup anti-clockwise from the Motor
unit and detach.
f. Make sure to remove any label or protective sheet which may prevent its
proper functioning.
DO NOT:
• cover the appliance during functioning;
• insert objects or body parts inside the protection cover of the appliance;
• overload the Blender Jug or Grinder Cup by overfilling it. This is generally below
¾ of the total volume of the container as especially during blending, liquids will
churn and may spill out of the container. The jug should contain cut fruits and
vegetables NO larger than 1 inch (2.5 cm) in length and thickness and must
NOT contain dry food (food with insufficient amount of water, very hard
ingredients (such as coffee beans, soybeans, rice, ice cubes or frozen foods),
or foods or liquids with a temperature greater than 60 °C;
• allow hands, hair, clothing, curtains, spatulas and any other objects to come
into contact with the appliance’s motor and accessories to avoid personal injury
or damage to the machine when the appliance is in operation;
• place the appliance in the microwave oven or refrigerator, so as to avoid
damaging it;

• touch the blades as they are VERY SHARP! Hold the base of the Holder while
installing, removing or cleaning;
• operate the appliance for more than 1 minute for blending and 30 seconds
for grinding, without interruption. Let the appliance rest between
processing cycles for 2 minutes. After 3 processing cycles, allow an
interval of 15 minutes to let the appliance cool down before the next use
so as to prolong its service life. DO NOT allow the appliance to idle while
in operation;
• turn the Speed Rotary Knob too forcefully so as to avoid any damage;
• detach the Blender Jug or Grinder Cup while the appliance is in operation;
• leave the appliance unsupervised during operation.
15. During operation, DO NOT touch the appliance with wet body parts, and it is
recommended to have between you and the standing surface, an isolating element
(for example, wearing shoes with rubber soles).
16. DO NOT soak the Motor unit in water or other liquids, wash it under the tap, or let
any liquid flow into the internal casing of the appliance to prevent electric shock.
In case of accidental fall in water, DO NOT try to take it out, but first of all switch
the appliance off.
17. Switch the appliance OFF before unplugging the appliance. Plug and unplug the
power cable firmly holding it with dry hands. Always unplug the power cable before
changing accessories; to avoid overheating; if it is NOT used for a long period and
before storing, cleaning or performing any maintenance operation. Remember that
the blades may still be moving after the power cable is unplugged! Prior to the
latter, leave to cool for at least 10 minutes.
18. Wash the Blender Cap, Blender Lid, Glass Blender Jug, Blender Blade, Grinder
Lid, Stainless Steel Grinder Cup, Grinder Blade and utensils immediately after
usage to avoid build-up of bacteria. (Warning: Blades are sharp!).
19. In the event the mixing of the food items produce bubbles, stop the operation
immediately and wait until the production of bubbles ceases before resuming
blending.
20. In case of malfunction or anomaly during the functioning such as smoke coming
out of the appliance, switch the appliance off immediately, turn off the power and
check the cause of the anomaly, if possible, with the support of a qualified person.

If the appliance overheats, the thermal switch will be activated, leading to the
motor being shut off. Turn the Speed Rotary Knob to ‘0’ (OFF). Switch the
appliance off and unplug the power cable from the wall socket. Allow the appliance
to cool for at least 15 minutes before using the appliance.

How to use s
1. Clean the Motor unit and accessories before using. Refer to the section “How to
clean and maintain” immediately following this section.
2. Place the Base of the Motor unit on a flat, dry and heat-resistant surface.
The Blender
3. Insert the Blender Blade into the Glass Blender Jug (the “Jug”) and fix the Holder
over the Blender Blade. Insert the Upper Clutch into the Holder and fix the Motor
clutch inside the Upper Clutch.
4. Holding the Handle of the Jug, align the Motor Clutch to the Motor unit vertically,
rotate the Jug clockwise and press downwards to lock the Jug tightly in place in
place with an audible “click”.
5. Wash the fruit/s and/or vegetables, then peel and cut into no larger than 1 inch
(2.5 cm) cubes. DO NOT add glutinous foods. Add liquids such as water or milk,
then place the cut fruits or vegetables into the Jug with the, topped off with yoghurt
or ice cream if desired. Place small portions into the Jug bit by bit instead of
blending all at once. You can pause blending, remove the Blender Cap, add fresh
ingredients, replace the Blender Cap and continue blending. The total volume
should NOT exceed the MAX mark. (Food is 2/5 of the cup capacity and water is
3/5; for instance, 600 grams of carrots with 900 grams of water.)
Note: For optimal performance, place the ingredients in the Jug according to the
following sequence:
Liquids, fresh ingredients, frozen fruits, yoghurt, ice cream.

6. Attach the Blender Lid to the Jug by firmly pressing it downwards.
7. Insert the Blender Cap into the Blender Lid and turn it until it is locked in place.
8. Turn the Speed Rotary Knob (the “Knob”) to ‘0’ (OFF). Plug the power cable into
the wall socket and switch ON. First turn the Knob anti-clockwise to ‘P’ (Pulse)
several times before turning the Knob to ‘1’ or ‘2’ and blend until the desired
consistency is achieved.
No matter whether the Knob is at ‘1’ or ‘2’, turning the Knob anti-clockwise to ‘P’
and holding it there will produce a short bust at maximum speed. When the Knob
is released, it will return to the original speed.
For blending solid or very thick liquid ingredients, use the Blender in ‘P’ mode to
prevent the blades from becoming stuck.
Place one hand on top of the Blender Lid when blending to stabilise the
appliance. DO NOT operate the appliance for more than 1 minute without
interruption. Let the appliance rest for 2 minutes between processing cycles.
After 3 processing cycles, allow an interval of 15 minutes to let the appliance
cool down before the next use, so as to prolong its service life. DO NOT
allow the appliance to idle while in operation.
9. On the completion of blending, turn the Knob to ‘0’ (OFF), switch off the wall switch
and unplug the power cable.
10. Wait for the blades to stop turning and, holding the Handle of the Jug, unscrew the
Jug with the Holder anti-clockwise from the Motor unit and detach.
11. Remove the Blender Lid from the Jug and the contents may be poured out.

Crushing Ice
12. Before using the Blender to crush ice, make sure it is clean and rinse it out
thoroughly.
13. Ice cubes come in many shapes and sizes. Insert a maximum of 12 ice cubes and
add 60 ml of cold water. DO NOT be tempted to increase the number of ice cubes
and blend for longer – this will not work. Too much ice will never give you
satisfactory results.
14. Put the Blender Lid and Blender Cap on the Jug (steps 6 & 7) and turn the Knob
to ‘P’ for 2 seconds and release for 2 seconds. Note that too much blending will
reduce the ice to liquid, too little will merely chip the edges/corners off the ice. DO
NOT try to crush ice without adding water into the jug.
only if a Jam occurs: DO NOT continue blending if the blade is jammed.
Turn the Knob to ‘0’ (OFF). Switch off the wall switch and unplug the power
cable.
Wait for the blades to stop turning.
Remove the Blender Lid from the Glass Blender Jug and clear the jam.
(Occasionally, the blockage may require that the Jug be detached from the
Motor unit before clearing. Unscrew the Jug with the Holder anti-clockwise from
the Motor unit and detach).
Once the Jam is cleared, (re-attach the Jug with the Holder to the Motor unit
by screwing the Jug clockwise – step 4), re-attach the Lid onto the Jug firmly.
Perform steps 8 – 11 again.

The Grinder (Mincer)
(used for grinding dry and hard foodstuffs: spices, coffee beans, seeds, almonds,
etc., as well as mincing meat, garlic, ginger, onions, chillies, etc.)
1. Insert the Grinder Blade into the Grinder Cup (the “Cup”) and fix the Holder over
the Grinder Blade. Insert the Upper Clutch into the Holder and fix the Motor clutch
inside the Upper Clutch.
2. Holding the Handle of the Cup, align the Motor Clutch to the Motor unit vertically,
rotate the Cup clockwise and press downwards to lock the Cup tightly in place with
an audible “click”.
3. Place the food ingredients (except Nutmeg &glutinous foods) into the Cup
attached to the Holder. DO NOT fill the cup more than ¾ of its capacity.
4. Attach the Grinder Lid to the Grinder Cup by screwing it clockwise.
5. Turn the Speed Rotary Knob (the “Knob”) to ‘0’ (OFF). Plug the power cable into
the wall socket and switch ON. First turn the Knob anti-clockwise to ‘P’ (Pulse)
several times before turning the Knob to ‘1’ or ‘2’ and grind until the desired
consistency is achieved.
No matter whether the Knob is at ‘1’ or ‘2’, turning the Knob anti-clockwise to ‘P’
and holding it there will produce a short bust at maximum speed. When the Knob
is released, it will return to the original speed.
For grinding hard solids, use the Grinder in ‘P’ mode to prevent the blades from
becoming stuck.
Place one hand on top of the Lid and push the Cup down throughout the
grinding process. DO NOT operate the appliance for more than 1 minute
without interruption. Let the appliance rest for 2 minutes between
processing cycles. After 3 processing cycles, allow an interval of 15 minutes
to let the appliance cool down before the next use, so as to prolong its
service life. DO NOT allow the appliance to idle while in operation.
6. On the completion of grinding, turn the Knob to ‘0’ (OFF), switch off the wall switch
and unplug the power cable.

7. Wait for the blades to stop turning and, holding the Handle of the Cup, unscrew
the Cup with the Holder anti-clockwise from the Motor unit and detach.
8. Remove the Lid from the Cup and the contents may be poured out.
only if a Jam occurs: DO NOT continue grinding if the blade is jammed.
Turn the Knob to ‘0’ (OFF). Switch off the wall switch and unplug the power
cable.
Wait for the blades to stop turning.
Remove the Lid from the Grinder Cup and clear the jam. (Occasionally, the
blockage may require that the Cup be detached from the Motor unit before
clearing. Unscrew the Cup with the Holder anti-clockwise from the Motor unit
and detach).
Once the Jam is cleared, (re-attach the Cup with the Holder to the Motor unit
by screwing the Cup clockwise – step 2), re-attach the Lid onto the Cup firmly.
Perform steps 5 – 8 again.
