Unpack all contents of box and familiarise yourself with
each item - refer to the Product contents section on page 6.
It is important that you read steps 1 to 6 before using
the minigorilla.
Step1TurningON/OFF(FigA)
• Press the black ON/OFF button on the minigorilla for
5 seconds to activate.
• Once activated the blue LCD screen will illuminate.
• If not in use, after approximately 10 seconds the back light
turns itself off. The minigorilla will shut down after 1
minute if not in use or device is fully charged.
• Hold the ON / OFF button to reactivate.
• To turn the minigorilla off press the ON / OFF button for
5 seconds.
Step2Setup(FigB)
• Connect the AC/mains adaptor (1) to the correct
interchangeable mains head (2) for the appropriate
AC/mains socket e.g. UK head for UK AC/mains socket
• Plug into mains socket and the IN (3) on the minigorilla.
• Remove connection cable from Tip Pack One and select
the tip that is compatible with your Netbook. (Please refer
to the Compatibility chart on page 13).
Step3.SelectingthecorrectvoltagetopoweryourNetbook
Before plugging in your Netbook to the minigorilla please check
the voltage it requires.
This can be found on the transformer of the AC adaptor supplied
with your Netbook or in your Netbook’s user guide.
Look for O/P: DC 16V –
voltage required is 16V
• Turn the minigorilla on.
• Lightly press the same button again to cycle through the
voltage options to match your devices requirements.
• The choices are 8.4v, 9.5v, 10.5v, 12v or 19v.
• The minigorilla will auto save your chosen voltage ready for
next time.
• Connect the connection cable to the appropriate tip and insert
into your device as shown (4).
• Insert the other end of cable into the OUT of the
minigorilla (5).
IMPORTANT: Only use Powertraveller’s approved AC adaptor for minigorilla
and never use minigorilla’s AC adaptor on any Netbook.
Always disconnect AC/Mains charger when minigorilla is fully charged or not
in use.
Note: Some Netbook LCD screens may flicker while the minigorilla is
connected. This is because the power rating for the minigorilla is lower
than the Netbook. You may need to change the brightness settings on your
Netbook or turn the Netbook off. This will enable the minigorilla to charge
the Netbook.
Using minigorilla

shown by the 6 vertical bars in the right hand corner of the
