T ank you for purc asing t e Perform PA MP15B Portable PA System.
T is unit as been designed and manufactured to t e ig est of standards so you can be assured you ave
made a good investment.
For your safety and to ensure you make full use of all t e features of t is product, please read t is manual in
full.
Safety Advice:
• Read t is manual in full before operating t is product.
• Keep t is manual in a safe place for future reference.
• Heed all warnings and instructions, bot in t is manual and on t e product.
• Carry and transport t is product wit care. Dropping t is product may result in serious mec anical failure.
• T e manufacturer accepts no responsibility for injury or damage caused as a result of not following t e
manual provided.
• Turn off and unplug t is loudspeaker from t e mains supply w en not in use.
• T is PA System is not waterproof and s ould not be used outside.
• Ensure t e cabinet is positioned for use in a suitable place w ere it can’t slip and cause injury.
• If t e loudspeaker is fitted to a stand make sure it is suitable to carry t e load and is positioned in a suitable
place.
Protection from Electric Shock:
• Only connect t is unit to a mains socket wit suitable trip and RCD protection.
• To disconnect from t e mains socket, always remove by t e mains plug. Do not attempt to remove by
pulling t e mains cable.
• Disconnect t e unit from t e mains supply before cleaning. Cleaning s ould be carried out wit a soft, dry
clot .
• Do not expose t is unit to any liquids.
• Do not operate near exposed water or in ig umidity.
• C oose a suitable route for all cables, ensuring trip azards are avoided and t e cables are not at risk of
being crus ed.
• Do not open t is unit to service. T ere are no user serviceable parts inside. Any servicing or repairs s ould
be carried out by a qualified engineer only. Any attempt to service or adapt t is unit will leave your
warranty void and could result in serious malfunction or injury.
• S ould you need to replace t e power fuse, do so wit t e identical size and rating.
Protection from Fire:
• Do not place near sources of eat or ignition.
• Do not cover or block any ventilation oles.
• C eck your AC wall socket will take t e power you are applying to avoid overloading t e mains supply.
Protection from In ury and Damage:
• Do not attempt to modify t is unit.
• Always install t e unit in a suitable stable location.
• C eck t is unit matc es t e mains voltage and frequency before plugging it in to your mains socket.
• In t e event t at any object or liquid enters t e mac ine, switc off immediately, remove from mains and
consult a qualified engineer.

• S ould you experience any malfunction or damage to t e mains cable, disconnect from t e mains supply
immediately and consult a qualified engineer.
• All parts s ould be replaced wit genuine spare parts and carried out by a qualified engineer.
Contents & Unpacking:
Before beginning your initial setup c eck t e unit as not been damaged in transit. In t e event t ere is
damage to t e ousing, cable or internal components contact your dealer immediately. T e loudspeaker is
supplied wit a remote control and power cable.

First Time Operation:
• Before you start using t is system, please c eck t ere is no transportation damage, s ould t ere be
any, please do not use t e device and contact your dealer immediately.
• Set all t e level controls to minimum. (2,6)
• Plug in an SD or USB card wit suitable music files in MP3 format. (1)
Alternatively connect a microp one to t e microp one socket (7) or external sound source to one of t e
line input connections. (10,11)
• Connect t e System (s) to t e mains supply (22) and switc on t e power at t e wall socket and on t e
rear of t e loudspeaker. (21)
• Allow a few moments for t e electronics to initialise
• T e power on indicator will illuminate on t e rear control panel (20) and t e battery c arge indicator will
illuminate w en its c arging. If you disconnect t e mains power t e system will work from its internal
battery for around 5 ours under normal use from a fully c arged battery.
• T e PA System is ready to use
• Advance to level control on t e microp one and or auxillary input to a suitable level.
•You can also c oose to use one or bot of t e radio microp ones at t is point, to do so, extend t e
telescopic aerials (16,17), switc t e microp one switc to on (15) and turn on one or bot and mics. T e
RF lig ts will illuminate (12,13) t en advance t e level controls (12,13) to t e desired level.
• T e Ec o control can be advanced to introduce ec o onto t e microp one c annels (5)
• You can turn on Microp one priority wit a separate switc , t is will make t e music sound level reduce
w en speeking t roug t e microp one.
• To start t e MP3 player select t e correct mode, select a track, press t e start button and turn up t e level
control (13) to t e desired level.
• You can can control t e player remotely wit t e small and remote control. Point t e controller at t e
front of t e cabinet for best effect.
• To connect a bluetoot player select BT by pressing t e player mode button and pair t is device wit your
remote bluetoot source, suc as a p one. W en to two devices are connected t e control (2) will set t e
desired volume level.

Music Player Control Functions:
Use t e Mode control to switc between music
sources or you can use t e remote control to c ange
music source, select track and adjust volume.
Point t e remote controller directly at t e front of
t e cabinet to make it work effectively.

General Use:
• T is is a flexible portable PA system t at as many applications. T e small internal mixer allows you to use
several sound sources toget er, so you can, for example talk or sing wit music in t e background. You can
play an instrument and sing or ave a background track playing from t e MP3 player.
T e Radio Mics can be used wit t e and Mics, so you can ave four microp ones running simultaneously, if
necessary. T e radio microp ones will work at up to about 50 metres wit a clear line of sig t, try to keep
wit ing 30 metres for most effective operation.
Maintenance:
• Before cleaning t e loudspeaker disconnect it from t e mains supply.
• Clean t e cabinet wit a dry clot .
• Do not use solvents w en cleaning t e cabinet.
