1. Remove!screws!on!top!of!modem.!!(Figure!1)!
2. Remove!Brass!nut!and!washer!on!SMA!connector!(Figure!2)!
3. Lift!off!cover!(Figure!3)!
4. Install!SIM!card!in!slot!using!a!standard!size!SIM.(Figure!4)!
5. Replace!cover,!brass!washer!and!nut!and!top!cover!screws!
6. Cell!reception!(RSSI)!can!be!found!in!Starfire>RTK!setup!page!in!
the!Noise!level!field.!!Lower!the!number!the!better!

1. Install!cab!bracket!onto!GX-450!Modem!(Figure!5)!
2. Attach!GPS!antenna,!Cell!Antenna!and!Starfire!cable!to!modem!!!
(Figure!6)!
3. Mount!Modem!bracket!to!back!corner!post!of!cab!with!M8!x!20!bolt!
and!washer!

Wiring
1. Install!receiver!cable!into!Starfire!receiver!and!run!the!cable!along!
side!the!antenna!cable’s!and!down!the!back!RH!side!of!cab!(Figure!8)!
2. Tie!these!cables!together!where!needed!and!use!wire!split!loom!if!
neccesary!
3. Bring!wiring!through!back!of!cab!and!through!
grommet.!!!

Spool!any!extra!wire!that!may!be!present!at!modem.!

guide!for!JDM-150!and!adapt!where!necessary!

1. Install!Antenna!mount!plates!to!RH!&!LH!side!of!cab!
roof!bolt!!
2. (Figure!7)!
3. Place!Cell!Antenna!on!LH!cab!mounting!plate!making!
sure!the!base!of!the!antenna!is!tight!and!the!set!
screws!are!tight!as!well!
4. Place!GPS!Antenna!on!RH!cab!mounting!plate!
