IMPORTANT
· Read the following instructions before first use to make sure you have general knowledge
about the kettle.
· Before connecting the kettle to the supply, check the voltage indicated on the appliance
(bottom of kettle and base unit) to see whether it corresponds to that of the mains supply.
· The container can be filled water, but never submerge the unit in water or other liquids.
Socket and plug should not make contact with water or other liquids, because it could cause
an electric shock. Therefore, never place the unit next to the sink.
· The kettle is only made for heating water. Heating milk or other liquids can destroy the unit
and void the warranty.
· During the process of heating water the unit will heat up and produce steam. If the steam
touches the skin it can result on injuries or burns.
· The heating pipe needs a cooling time. If the heating pipe is touched before it cools down,
it can cause bums.
· Please use the unit only under supervision.
· Children may not recognize the dangers of not properly handling electrical units.
Therefore, the kettle should not be used by children.
· Please make sure that the power cable does not touch the heating unit.
· Please do not use the water heater when there is visible damage to the jar, the socket or
the power cable.
· If the unit is repaired by an unqualified person there may be injuries to the user. Please
allow only a qualified electrician to repair the kettle and power cable. We recommend you
contact a Service Center for repairs.
· In order to avoid damage, never use sharp instruments near the heating pipe. The water
heater is equipped with a dry-protection system, but never use it without water. If the
dry-protection system has turned off the unit, please let it cool down completely before using it
again.
· Please disconnect the power cord plug if you are not going to use the kettle for a long
period of time.
· In case over-filling the jar, boiling water may spill.
· Wait until the appliance switches off automatically or switch off manually before removing
the jar from the stand.
· This appliance has to be used with its stand and the jar shall not be filled while is placed
on the stand .
HOW TO USE THE KETTLE
· Rinse the kettle and fill it with the maximum amount of fresh water it allows. Boil fresh
water in the kettle two or three times and discard the boiled water before normal use.
· Pour the desired amount of water into the kettle and dry any water on the kettle exterior.
· Make sure the cable is connected and the “On/Off” switch is in “Off” position.
· Turn the “On/Off” switch to the “On” position. The power indicator inside the switch will
then be lighted.
· Water temperature will rise until it boils, then the switch will automatically go to the “Off”

position and the kettle will be Off.
· When the water cools down and if you want to have boiled water again, simply switch the
kettle On again.
CLEANING
· It is extremely important to remember that cleaning the kettle can only be performed
when the plug has been removed from the electric supply.
· Never immerse any part of kettle, especially the cable and base plate into water.
· Cleaning should be performed when the kettle has already cooled down.
· Always make sure that the electrical connection of the kettle remains completely dry.
· Make sure that the outside and the electrical parts of the kettle are completely dry
before each use.

IMPORTANTE
•Lea las siguientes instrucciones antes de usar por primera vez para asegurarse de tener
los conocimientos básicos sobre la tetera.
oAntes de conectar la tetera a la fuente de electricidad, compruebe el voltaje indicado en la
parte inferior de la tetera y base de la unidad para ver si corresponde al de la red de suministro
electrico.
oEl contenedor puede ser llenado de agua pero nunca sumerja la unidad en agua u otros
líquidos. El enchufe nunca debe hacer contacto con el agua u otros líquidos, para evitar
peligro de choque eléctrico; por lo tanto nunca coloque la unidad junto al lavaplatos.
oEste artefacto debe ser utilizado sólo para calentar agua. Calentar de leche u otro líquido
puede destruir la unidad y anular la garantía.
oDurante el proceso de calentamiento de agua, la unidad se calentara y producirá vapor. Si
el vapor producido en este proceso entra en contacto con la piel, puede provocar lesiones y
quemaduras.
oEl tubo de calentamiento necesita tiempo para enfriarse, si se toca antes de que enfrie por
completo pueden producirse quemaduras.
oUtilice el equipo solo bajo supervisión.
oLos niños no reconocen el peligro que representa el manejo inadecuado de unidades
eléctricas; por lo tanto, la unidad no debe ser utilizada por niños.
oPor favor, asegúrese de que el cable de alimentación no toca la unidad de calentamiento.
oNo utilice el calentador de agua cuando haya daño visible en el contenedor, la base o el
cable de alimentación.
oSi la unidad es reparada por una persona no calificada pueden producirse lesiones, por lo
tanto, todo mantenimiento a la tetera y el cable de alimentación sólo debe ser realizado por un
electricista calificado. Se recomienda contactar un centro de servicio en caso de necesitar
reparaciones.
oA fin de no dañar el tubo de calentamiento, nunca le acerque instrumentos afilados.
Aunque la tetera está equipada con un sistema de proteccion que evita su uso en seco, nunca
la utilice sin agua. Si la protección contra el uso en seco ha desactivado la unidad, dejela
enfriar completamente antes de utilizarla de nuevo.
oPor favor desconecte el enchufe de la alimentacion electrica si no va a usar la tetera
durante un largo período de tiempo.
oSi llena demasiado la tetera de agua, al hervir el agua se puede derramar.
oEspere a que el dispositivo se apaque automáticamente o apague manualmente antes de
retirar la jarra de la base.
oEste equipo debe utilizarse con la base adecuada y la jarra no debe llenarse cuando este
colocada sobre la base.
COMO USAR LA TETERA
•Enjuague la tetera con agua y llenela a su maxima capacidad. Hierva el agua dentro de la
tetera dos o tres veces, eliminando el agua hervida antes de comenzar el uso normal.
•Vierta la cantidad deseada de agua en la tetera y elimine cualquier humedad en la parte
exterior de la misma.
•Asegurese que el cable esta conectado y el interruptor de encendido y apagado "On/Off"
se encuentra en la posición "Off".
•Gire el interruptor "On/Off" a la posición "On". El indicador de encendido del interruptor
interior se encendera.

•La temperatura del agua subira hasta hervir, el interruptor se colocara automaticamente en
la posicion Off de apagado y la tetera se apagara.
•Cuando el agua se enfríe y si usted va a hervir agua nuevamente, simplemente encienda la
tetera nuevamente.
LIMPIEZA
•Es muy importante recordar que la tetera sólo puede limpiarse cuando se ha
desconectado el enchufe de la fuente de electricidad.
•Nunca sumerja en agua ninguna parte de la tetera, especialmente el cable y la base.
•La limpieza solo debe realizarse cuando la tetera esta fría.
•Asegúrese de que la conexión eléctrica de la tetera permanece siempre seca.
•Asegúrese de que el exterior y las piezas de conexión eléctrica de la tetera están
completamente secos antes de usarla.
