Prima Klima COOL TUBE User manual

Thank you for choosing our product. Please follow the instructions in the cabling and assembling
guide carefully. Firstly, check if all pieces are provided. We advise that the connections of the
electro equipment must be done by professionals.
Application:
The Cooltube is an air cooled reector for high pressure lamps. L2010 and L2015 are designed
for 250, 400 and 600 Watt lamps. L2020 is optimal for 1000W lamps.
The Cooltube is highly efcient when used in CO2 rooms or grow boxes and tents. For optimal
cooling effect the airow must be as cool as possible.
Dust can be a major issue in light loss, therefore, we recommend that a carbon lter is attached
to the start of the airow. Furthermore, the inside and the outside of the glass must be cleaned
from time to time.
The airow could potentially surpass 50°C, if, you connect several cooltubes in a series.
To prevent this issue just connect the Cooltubes parallely by simply using a T-piece.
Assembly instruction for air cooled reector
L2010, L2015, L2020

Parts:
1x Reector body 2x Side reector sheets
1x Cable gland 4x Cross-head screws 2.2mm x 6.5mm
Assembly instructions:
1. Fix the cable gland to the Cooltube ange and pull the cable (min. 3 x 1.5mm2) through the rubber
bushing and connect the wire to the lamp.
2. Carefully pull out the lamp holder until it is no longer ush with the Cooltube. Connect the wires to
the socket (see sketch below)
3. The brown wire (live conductor) needs to be connected to the socket contact.
4. The light blue wire (neutral conductor) needs to be connected to the frame contact.
5. The green-yellow wire (earth) needs to be connected to the socket holder hole using a cable eye
M5 1.5-2.5mm2. Note: Pack doesn‘t include the cable eye nor the screw.
6. Push the lamp holder back into the Cooltube until sitting ush. To prevent wiring issues in the
future, pull the cable from the exterior of the Cooltube until the inner wires become taut. Note: The
cable tie is used for safeguard.
7. Peel the covering foil from the reective aluminium plates off. Insert the reective aluminium plates
into the ange and secure them with the 2 screws on both sides, by using a hand-held drill machine
with crosshead screwdriver.
Depending on the desired illumination angle, adjust the outside reector by hand.
