Installation
Make sure the power to the unit is off. Mount the power pack on a sturdy, non-flammable surface. Make Bure any
protective plastic coverings on the reflector are removed before switching on the system.
Mount the reflector in a suitable Position then screw the lamp into the reflector's socket firmly to ensure a good
electrical contact. It is important that the lamp is free from smears, fingerprints etc. Wipe with a clean dry cloth
before use.
Plug the cable from the reflector into the power pack, ensuring the connectors are firmly pushed together. Switch
on the power and the lamp will ignite. After igniting, the lamp will illuminate to full brightness within 5 minutes.
To prolong the life of the lamp, always allow the lamp to fully warm up for 5 minutes before switching it off. After
switching the unit off, leave it off for 15 minutes before switching it back on again.
Troubleshooting
The power pack will attempt to ignite the lamp every 60 seconds until it ignites. If the system fails to start after 5
minutes (15 minutes for a Metal Halide lamp), then switch it off, remove the lamp and screw it back in again firmly.
Switch the unit back on and if the lamp still fails to ignite, contact your supplier.
