Assembly instruction for air cooled reflector
COOLTUBE
L2010, L2015, L2020
Thank you for choosing our product. Please follow the instructions in the cabling and assembling
guide carefully. Check first if all pieces are provided. The connections of the electro equipment must
only to be done by expert personal.
Application:
The Cooltube is an air cooled reflector for high pressure lamps. L2010 and L2015 are designed for
250, 400 and 600 Watt lamps. For L2020 are optimal lamps with power until 1000W.
The Cooltube is indispensable equipment for plant growing in CO² rooms. The Cooltube is mostly
used in rooms which have not enough height, for example grow tent or box. The cooler the airflow is,
the better the cooling effect.
The airflow should be dust free; this means it should be cleaned by a filter box. From time to time
the glass must be cleaned inside and outside with commercial glass cleaner.
In case you connect several cooltubes in series, the exhaust airflow should not surpass 50°C. If it gets
hotter connect them in parallel with a T-peace.

Assembly instructions:
1. Fix the cable gland and pull through the cable (min. 3x1,5 mm

) for about 20 cm outside
through the rubber bushing and connect the wire to the lamp
2. Remove the lamp holder
Connect the wires to the socket (see sketch):

4. Light blue (neutral conductor) – frame contact
5. Green / green-yellow (earth) – screw with cable eye M5 1.5-2.5 mm

6. Settle the lamp holder back to correct position. Pull back the cable and fix it closing the cable
gland. Note: The cable tie is used for safeguard.
7. Peel off the covering foil of the reflective aluminium plates and insert into the black flanges,
fixing with the 2 screws on both sides, by using a drill machine with crosshead screwdriver
insert. Depending on the illumination angle, adjust the outside reflector by hand.
