INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the Vida Sana™Personal Blender by Princess House!
The Vida Sana™Personal Blender includes a powerful 600 watts motor in an attractive, compact
base unit. The BPA-free containers, blades and lids all work together to make it easier to
incorporate fruits and vegetables into your everyday diet.
Your personal blender includes two high quality stainless steel blades, one for blending and one
for milling. The stainless steel blending blade transforms fruits and vegetables into smooth drinks.
It can also be used for making delicious sauces and dressings. The stainless steel milling blade
is perfect for grinding seeds, nuts or coffee beans. It can also be used to grate hard cheeses or
pulverize spices.
The Vida Sana™Personal Blender comes with two 20-ounce cups, two different types of lids and
two sipping rings. If you want to drink right from the container, twist on a sipping ring. To blend
and go, use the convenient travel lid. To store ingredients right in the container for future use,
attach one of the storing lids.
This manual contains instructions for the use of your new Personal Blender. Please read all the
instructions before first use.
IMPORTANT WARNINGS & SAFEGUARDS
Basic safety precautions should always be followed when using electrical appliances, including the
following:
ELECTRICAL HAZARDS
• Do not use if any parts are cracked or broken.
• Do not operate if the cord is frayed or wires are exposed.
2

3
• To avoid the possibility of the personal blender being accidently knocked over or pulled off
your preparation area, use only on a flat surface and do not let the cord hang over the edge
of the table or counter.
• Use only with a 120V AC power outlet. Note that this appliance has a polarized plug.
One prong is wider than the other. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit into
a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
• Do not connect the personal blender to the outlet with more than one extension cord and
do not connect other appliances to the extension cord when in use with this unit. When
using a long detachable power supply or extension cord be sure: 1) the extension cord is
compatible with the polarized plug; 2) the marked electrical rating of the cord or extension
cord is at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance and; 3) the cords do not drape
over the countertop or tabletop where they can be pulled on by children or tripped over
unintentionally.
• Do not allow the cord to contact hot surfaces. Never move the unit by pulling on the power
cord. To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the cord or base unit in
water or any other liquid. This appliance is not recommended for outdoor use.
PERSONAL SAFETY
• Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended household use.
• Use only on a level, dry, stable surface.
• Only use the parts and components packaged with your Vida Sana™Personal Blender. Do not
use any container or accessories not recommended by Princess House. To do so may result in
damage to the unit or personal injury.
• Avoid contact with moving parts. Never try to remove accessories from the base unit when the
blender is working.
• To reduce the risk of injury, never place the blade assembly on the base unit unless the
containers are securely attached to them.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
• Do not leave your personal blender unattended when it is operating.
• This appliance is not intended for use by children. Close supervision is necessary when using
any appliance near children.
PRODUCT & PROPERTY SAFETY
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance has
malfunctioned, has been dropped or damaged in any way or is not operating properly.
• Do not place personal blender on or near a stovetop or hot burner.
• Use only with 120V AC power outlet.
• Do not overload your personal blender. If the ingredients are not mixing, make sure you did
not add too much or exceed max fill line. When making drinks or dressings, you may add
more liquid as long as it does not go past max fill line. If the motor stalls, turn blender off
immediately. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool for 15 to 30 minutes.
• Do not use hot liquids or carbonated beverages in your personal blender.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Always unplug your Vida Sana™Personal Blender before cleaning. Clean base unit with soft, damp
cloth. Wipe dry. Never immerse the base unit or cord in water or any other liquids.
The Vida Sana™Personal Blender containers, blades and lids are all top-rack dishwasher safe. If
you prefer, you may hand wash the components or add a small amount of dish washing liquid
to the container and fill halfway with water. Attach the blade assembly, secure to the base unit
and run for 10 to 15 seconds. Repeat using clean water. Carefully disassemble parts, rinse and dry
thoroughly.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, bleach or cleaners with bleach.
CAUTION: Handle the blade and blade assemblies carefully. The blades are sharp and may cause
injury. Never attempt to remove blades from their base units.
Note that there are leak proof sealing gaskets on the blade assemblies, travel and storing lids.
These are very important for maintaining a leak-proof seal. If necessary, gently remove the
gaskets for cleaning. When putting back the gaskets, make sure is properly secured in place.
CAUTION: Always unplug the base unit when cleaning and when NOT in use.
IDEAL BLENDING TIPS
6
• Put hardest ingredients like ice and frozen fruit into the
container first, further away from the blade. Then add
softer ingredients and liquids.
• We recommend that you cut most food into ½ to 1 inch
pieces to ensure the best results.
• Do not fill beyond the MAX fill line.
• Do not overload the cup. It is better to mix things in
batches than to overload the cup, get inconsistent results
and potentially harm the motor.
• For best results, blend your ingredient for UP TO 2
minutes at a time. It may be necessary to pulse the food
a few times before blending continuously.
• If food is not blending, you may need to add water, milk,
juice or stock (DO NOT ADD HOT LIQUIDS).
• If food sticks to the cup when blending, stop the
blender, remove the cup from the base and tap the
sides of the cup or gently tap it on the counter a few
times. If necessary, turn the cup over, remove the blade
and scrape the sides with a soft spatula. Replace the
blade, attach it to the base and pulse in short bursts to
combine.

IDEAL MILLING TIPS
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEM SOLUTION
My personal
blender is not
turning on.
1) Make sure the blade assembly is on the container correctly and that the
blade assembly is locked onto the base. The blender has a built in safety lock
feature. This ensures that you can only switch the appliance on while the cup
and the blade assembly are secured to base unit.
2) Make sure the blender is securely plugged in and that there is power going
to the outlet.
The blender
stopped running.
1) The motor may have overheated. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool for
15 to 30 minutes.
2) Make sure you are not overloading the cup or filling it beyond the max
fill line.
3) Carefully clear contents that might have caused the blades to jam.
The blade
assembly is difficult
to remove after
blending.
This can happen from time to time because of the tight leak-proof seal.
Pressure can build in the unit creating a vacuum. Make sure the components
are dry and use a towel or jar opener to help separate the blade assembly from
the cup.
The unit is leaking. Check the gasket in the blade assembly. Make sure it is not twisted and that it
is properly in place. If the gasket is damaged, you may contact Princess House
Customer Service for a replacement.
The blade is not
running smoothly.
Stop and add some liquid or remove some of the solid ingredients from the cup.
Stubborn cleanup. If ingredients dried inside the Personal Blender, make a quick cleanup by filling
the cup about 2⁄3full with warm soapy water and screw on the Milling Blade.
Place the cup assembly on the personal blender base. Power the unit for about
20-30 seconds. That and a light scrub will loosen the stuck ingredients.
• We recommend that most food be cut into ½ to 1 inch
pieces to ensure the best results.
• Do not fill beyond the MAX fill line.
• Do not overload the cup. It is better to mix things in
batches than to overload the cup; it can get inconsistent
results and potentially harm the motor.
• For best results, use the milling blade for UP TO 30
seconds at a time. It may be necessary to pulse the food
a few times before blending continuously.
• When milling, pay attention as it may take only a few
seconds to achieve the desired result.
• When milling is complete, remove the cup from the
base unit and tap the sides or gently tap the base on the
counter a few times to settle the ingredients and prevent
spillage, before removing the blade assembly.
