VOOR HET GEBRUIK
Lees voordat u dit apparaat gaat gebruiken deze instructies zorgvuldig en bewaar ze om later nog eens te
kunnen raadplegen. Controleer of de netspanning in uw woning overeenkomt met die van het apparaat.
Sluit dit apparaat uitsluitend aan op een geaard stopcontact.
Het apparaat kan bij eerste gebruik enigszins gaan roken. Dat is normaal bij nieuwe verwarmingselementen
en houdt na korte tijd op.
GEBRUIKSAANWIJZING
Wikkel het snoer helemaal af voordat u de stekker in het stopcontact stopt. Plaats het apparaat op een
stabiele, warmtebestendige ondergrond. U kunt het apparaat nu openen. Sluit het apparaat en laat de
platen opwarmen. De platen zijn op temperatuur als het indicatielampje "ready" uitgaat.
GEBRUIK VAN DE WAFELPLATEN
Wacht tot de platen op temperatuur zijn. Gebruik bij vloeibaar deeg een pollepel om te zorgen dat het
vormoppervlak van de onderste plaat helemaal bedekt is. Leg vast deeg over het vormoppervlak. Zorg dat
u het deeg gelijkmatig verdeelt. Sluit het toestel. Het deeg wordt nu in het vormoppervlak van de andere
plaat geduwd. Als de wafels klaar zijn, verwijdert u de wafels. Gebruik hiervoor bij voorkeur een vork
met twee tanden. Pas op dat u hierbij de antiaanbaklaag niet beschadigt.
SCHOONMAKEN
TREK ALTIJD EERST DE STEKKER UIT HET STOPCONTACT.
Maak het apparaat na ieder gebruik schoon. Laat het echter eerst helemaal afkoelen. Reinig de buitenkant
met een vochtige doek. Gebruik op de antiaanbaklaag geen scherpe metalen voorwerpen en agressieve
schoonmaakmiddelen.
PRINCESS TIPS
- Plaats het apparaat op een stevige, stabiele, warmtebestendige ondergrond.
- Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of een andere vloeistof.
- De buitenkant van het apparaat kan erg heet worden. Pak het apparaat dus alleen bij de handgreep beet.
- Zorg dat het apparaat niet dermate dicht bij de rand van een tafel of een ander werkoppervlak staat, dat
iemand hem eraf zou kunnen stoten. Zorg er ook voor dat u het snoer zo plaatst dat niemand erover kan
struikelen.
- Gebruik het apparaat niet als het apparaat of het snoer beschadigd is. Stuur het in dat geval op naar
onze servicedienst. In verband met de veiligheid dient bij dit type apparaat een beschadigd snoer
uitsluitend te worden vervangen door onze servicedienst of een andere vakman of -vrouw.
- Plaats dit apparaat niet op of in de buurt van een warme kookplaat of andere warmtebron.
- Haal altijd eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact als zich een storing voordoet of als u het apparaat gaat
schoonmaken.
- De platen worden erg heet. Zorg dat kinderen er niet bij in de buurt komen. Wees zelf ook voorzichtig.
- Gebruik geen agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen.
- Gebruik het apparaat uitsluitend volgens de gebruiksaanwijzing.
- Gebruik geen accessoires die de fabrikant niet heeft aanbevolen.
- Houd het snoer weg van de platen.
- Het apparaat is niet bedoeld om te worden bediend met een externe timer of een afzonderlijke afstands-
bediening.
- Wanneer het apparaat aanstaat, kunnen de vlakken waar u bij kunt, heet zijn.
- Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen, met inbegrip van kinderen, met
verminderde lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens of gebrek aan ervaring
en kennis, tenzij zij door een voor hun veiligheid verantwoordelijke persoon zijn onder-
richt in of begeleid bij het gebruik van het apparaat.
- Zorg ervoor dat kinderen niet met dit apparaat spelen.

RECEPT (VOOR CA. 15 WAFELS)
Ingrediënten:
250 g boter
250 g zelfrijzend bakmeel
250 g suiker
4 eieren
Smelt de boter langzaam. Voeg de suiker en 4 eierdooiers toe. Meng tot een romige mix. Klop het eiwit
van de 4 eieren stijf. Voeg beetje bij beetje het gezeefde bakmeel toe aan de mix totdat deze dik is. Voeg
ten slotte het stijfgeklopte eiwit toe. Uw beslag is nu klaar voor gebruik.

BEFORE USING
Read these instructions thoroughly first and keep them for future reference. Check that your domestic
electricity supply matches that of the appliance. Only connect this appliance to an earthed socket.
The machine may give off a little smoke when used for the first time. This is normal for new heating
elements and will stop after a short time.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Unwind the cord completely before plugging the appliance into the socket. Place the appliance on a stable
heat-resistant surface. The appliance can now be opened. Close the appliance and allow the plates to heat
up. The plates will have reached the right temperature when the "ready " indicator light switches off.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE WAFFLE PLATES
Wait until the plates are at the right temperature. With a liquid mixture, use a ladle to ensure that the
moulded surface of the lower plate is covered sufficiently. When using a solid mixture, lay it over the
moulded surface. Make sure that the mixture is distributed evenly. Now close the appliance. The dough
will now flow into the moulded surface of the other plate. When the waffles are ready, remove them. If
possible use a two-pronged fork for this purpose. Be careful not to damage the non-stick coating when
doing this.
CLEANING
ALWAYS UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING.
Clean the appliance after each time that you use it. Allow the appliance to cool completely first. Clean the
outside with a damp cloth. The non-stick coating should not be cleaned with sharp metal objects or
aggressive detergents.
PRINCESS TIPS
- Place the appliance on a sturdy and stable surface that is also heat-resistant.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- The exterior of the appliance can become quite hot. Only pick it up using the handle.
- Ensure that the appliance is not so close to the edge of the table or work surface that someone could
knock it off. Also, ensure that the cord is not trailing where someone could trip over it.
- Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or if the cable is damaged. Instead, send it to our service
department. With this type of appliance, a damaged cable should only be replaced by our service
department or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent any danger.
- Do not place the appliance on or directly adjacent to a warm hotplate or other source of heat.
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or if any fault develops.
- The plates become very hot; make sure that children do not come near them, and be
careful yourself as well.
- Do not use any abrasive cleaning materials.
- Only use the appliance according to the instructions.
- Do not use any accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.

WAFFLE RECIPE (FOR ABOUT 15 WAFFLES)
Ingredients:
250 g butter
250 g self-raising flour
250 g sugar
4 eggs
Melt the butter slowly, then add the sugar and 8 egg yolks. Mix them all to a creamy consistency. Whip
the 4 egg whites to form stiff peaks. Now gently add the sieved flour and mix until it thickens. Finally
add the beaten egg whites. The mixture is now ready for use.
U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE NEUTRAL
BROWN LIVE
GREEN/YELLOW EARTH
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour
markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter E or and is coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW

AVANT L'EMPLOI
Avant d’utiliser cet appareil lisez attentivement le mode d’emploi et conservez-le soigneusement afin de
pouvoir le consulter ultérieurement si nécessaire. Assurez-vous que le voltage de votre logement correspond
à celui indiqué sur l'appareil. Raccorder l'appareil uniquement à une prise de terre.
L’appareil peut légèrement fumer lors de la première utilisation. C’est un phénomène normal qui se
produit quand les résistances sont neuves et cela ne dure que brièvement.
UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL
Dérouler entièrement le cordon avant d’introduire la fiche dans la prise. Placer l’appareil sur une surface
stable résistante à la chaleur. L’appareil peut à présent être ouvert. Fermer l’appareil et
laisser chauffer les plaques. Le voyant « ready » s'éteint lorsque les plaques ont atteint la
bonne température.
UTILISATION DU GAUFRIER
Attendre que les plaques aient atteint la bonne température. Si la pâte à gaufre est liquide,
utiliser une louche pour la verser afin de bien recouvrir la surface moulée de la plaque
inférieure. Si la pâte est solide, l’étaler sur la surface moulée de la plaque. Veillez à ce que
la pâte soit bien répartie sur la plaque. Fermer l’appareil. La pâte sera compressée dans le
moule de la plaque supérieure. Retirer les gaufres dès qu’elles sont prêtes. Utiliser de
préférence une fourchette à deux dents.

Attention à ne pas abîmer le revêtement antiadhésif.
ENTRETIEN
DEBRANCHER D'ABORD L'APPAREIL DE LA PRISE DE COURANT.
Nettoyer l’appareil après chaque emploi. Laisser au préalable refroidir complètement l’appareil. Essuyer
l’extérieur de l'appareil avec un chiffon humide. Ne pas gratter le revêtement antiadhésif avec des objets
métalliques tranchants ni avec des produits de nettoyage agressifs.
CONSEILS DE PRINCESS
- Placer l’appareil sur un support stable et solide, résistant à la chaleur.
- Ne jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau ni dans tout autre liquide.
- La partie extérieure de l’appareil devient très chaude. Saisir l’appareil uniquement par la poignée.
- Ne pas placer l’appareil au bord d’une table, plan de travail, etc., pour éviter qu’on ne le renverse par
mégarde ; veillez également à ce que personne ne puisse trébucher sur le cordon.
- Ne pas utiliser l’appareil s’il est défectueux ou si le cordon est endommagé mais l’envoyer à notre
service après-vente. Pour des raisons de sécurité, la réparation du cordon de ce type d’appareil ne peut
être effectuée que par notre service après-vente ou une autre personne qualifiée.
- Ne pas placer l’appareil sur ou à proximité d’une plaque de cuisson chaude, etc.
- Retirer toujours la fiche de la prise avant de nettoyer l'appareil ou s’il est défectueux.
- Les plaques deviennent très chaudes. Veillez à ce qu’elles soient hors de portée des enfants et soyez
vous-même très prudent.
- Ne pas utiliser de produits de nettoyage corrosifs ou abrasifs.
- Utiliser l’appareil uniquement comme indiqué dans le mode d’emploi.

RECETTE (POUR ENVIRON 15 GAUFRES)
Ingrédients :
250 grammes de beurre
250 grammes de farine autolevante
250 grammes de sucre
4 oeufs
Faire fondre lentement le beurre, ajouter le sucre et les 4 jaunes d’?uf. Mélanger le tout en crème. Battre
les 4 blancs d'oeuf en neige ferme. Ajouter d’abord la farine tamisée puis le mélange et travailler pour
obtenir une masse épaisse. Ajouter en dernier les oeufs battus en neige. La pâte est alors prête à être utilisée.

VOR DEM GEBRAUCH
Diese Gebrauchsanweisung vor der Inbetriebnahme des Geräts sorgfältig durchlesen und für spätere
Fragen aufheben. Prüfen, ob die Netzspannung der Wohnung der des Gerätes entspricht. Das Gerät nur an
eine geerdete Steckdose anschließen.
Beim Erstgebrauch des Geräts kann es zu einer Dampfentwicklung kommen. Das ist bei
neuen Heizelementen durchaus normal und verschwindet nach kurzer Zeit von selbst.
GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG
Das Kabel ganz abwickeln, bevor der Stecker in die Steckdose gesteckt wird. Das Gerät
auf eine stabile, wärmebeständige Unterlage stellen. Das Gerät kann jetzt geöffnet werden.
Das Gerät schließen und die Platten vorheizen. Die Platten haben die richtige Temperatur
erreicht, wenn das Kontrolllämpchen „ready“ ausgeht.

BENUTZUNG DER WAFFELPLATTEN
Warten, bis die Platten die gewünschte Temperatur erreicht haben. Bei flüssigem Teig eine Kelle benutzen,
um die Formfläche der untersten Platte ordnungsgemäß zu füllen. Festen Teig auf die Formfläche legen.
Darauf achten, dass der Teig gleichmäßig verteilt wird. Das Gerät schließen. Der Teig wird nun in die
Form der anderen Platte gedrückt. Die Waffeln nach dem Fertigbacken herausnehmen. Dazu nach
Möglichkeit eine Gabel mit zwei Zinken benutzen.
Darauf achten, dass dabei die Antihaftbeschichtung nicht beschädigt wird.
REINIGUNG
ZUERST DEN STECKER AUS DER STECKDOSE ZIEHEN.
Das Gerät nach jedem Gebrauch reinigen. Das Gerät erst ausreichend abkühlen lassen. Die Außenseite
mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen. Die Antihaftbeschichtung nicht mit einem scharfen Metallgegenstand
oder aggressiven Reinigungsmitteln bearbeiten.
PRINCESS-TIPPS
- Das Gerät auf eine stabile, wärmebeständige Unterlage stellen.
- Das Gerät nie in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten tauchen.
- Die Außenseite des Geräts kann sehr heiß werden. Das Gerät deshalb nur am Griff anfassen.
- Das Gerät nie zu nahe an den Rand des Tisches, der Arbeitsplatte usw. stellen, so dass es nicht
herunterfallen kann. Das Kabel so hinlegen, dass niemand darüber fallen kann.
- Das Gerät nicht mehr verwenden, wenn es selbst oder das Kabel beschädigt ist. Das Gerät in diesem
Fall an unseren Kundendienst schicken. Aus Sicherheitsgründen darf ein beschädigtes Kabel bei diesem
Gerät ausschließlich von unserem Kundendienst oder einem anderen Fachmann ausgewechselt werden.
- Das Gerät niemals auf oder in unmittelbare Nähe einer heißen Kochplatte oder anderer Wärmequellen
stellen.
- Den Stecker immer aus der Steckdose ziehen, wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt und bevor es gereinigt wird.
- Die Platten werden sehr heiß. Darauf achten, dass sich das Gerät außerhalb der Reichweite von
Kindern befindet. Auch Erwachsene sollten beim Umgang mit dem Gerät vorsichtig sein.
- Keine scheuernden oder aggressiven Reinigungsmittel benutzen.
- Das Gerät ausschließlich gemäß der Gebrauchsanweisung verwenden.
- Ausschließlich vom Hersteller empfohlenes Zubehör benutzen.
- Das Kabel nicht in die Nähe der Platten legen.
- Das Gerät kann nicht mit einem externen Timer oder einer separaten Fernbedienung bedient werden.
- Wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist, können die Flächen heiß sein.
- Die Benutzung dieses Geräts durch Kinder oder Personen mit eingeschränkten körperlichen, sensorischen
oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder fehlender Erfahrung und Kenntnis kann Gefahren mit sich bringen.
Diese Benutzer sind daher von den für ihre Sicherheit verantwortlichen Personen in den Gebrauch
einzuweisen oder dürfen dieses Gerät nur unter Aufsicht benutzen.
- Darauf achten, dass Kindern nicht mit diesem Gerät spielen.
REZEPT (FÜR CA. 15 WAFFELN)
Zutaten:
250 g Butter
250 g Mehl mit Backpulver
250 g Zucker
4 Eier
Die Butter langsam zergehen lassen. Eidotter und Zucker hinzugeben. Die Mischung sahnig rühren.
4 Eiweiße steif schlagen. Das gesiebte Mehl langsam an die Mischung hinzugeben bis
diese dick ist. Abschließend den Eischnee dazugeben. Der Teig kann jetzt verwendet werden.

Durante el primer uso puede producirse algo de humo. Esto es perfectamente normal en resistencias
nuevas y desaparecerá en poco tiempo.
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
Desenrolle completamente el cable antes de enchufar el aparato a la toma de corriente. Coloque el aparato
en una superficie sólida, estable y resistente al calor. Ya puede abrir el aparato. Cierre el aparato y deje
calentar las planchas. En cuanto las planchas alcancen la temperatura adecuada, se encenderá el indicador
"Ready" (Preparada).
USO DE LAS PLANCHAS PARA GOFRES
Espere a que las planchas tengan la temperatura adecuada. Use un cucharón para recubrir suficientemente
con la mezcla líquida la superficie del molde de la placa inferior. Cuando use una mezcla sólida, dispóngala
sobre la superficie del molde. Asegúrese de repartir uniformemente la masa. Cierre el utensilio. Ahora la
masa llenará los huecos del molde de la otra plancha. Cuando estén listos, retire los gofres. Si es posible,
use un tenedor de dos púas para ello. Preste atención de no dañar la capa antiadherente.
LIMPIEZA
PRIMERO DESENCHUFE LA CLAVIJA DE LA TOMA DE CORRIENTE.
Limpie el aparato después de cada uso. Primero deje enfriar por completo el aparato. Limpie la parte
exterior con una gamuza húmeda. No limpie la capa antiadherente con objetos metálicos punzantes o
productos de limpieza agresivos.
CONSEJOS PRINCESS
- Coloque el aparato en una superficie sólida y estable, que también sea resistente al calor.
- No sumerja nunca el aparato en agua o en otro líquido.
- La parte exterior del aparato puede calentarse mucho. Levante el aparato siempre mediante el asa.

u otro servicio especializado, para evitar daños.
- No coloque el aparato encima o muy cerca de una placa de cocción caliente, o similar.
- Desenchufe siempre el aparato antes de limpiarlo y en caso de anomalías.
- Las planchas se calientan mucho; asegúrese de que los niños no se acerquen y, naturalmente, tenga
cuidado también usted.
- No utilice productos de limpieza abrasivos o que dejan rayas.
- Utilice el aparato exclusivamente según las instrucciones proporcionadas.
- No use accesorios no recomendados por el fabricante.
- Mantenga el cable alejado de las planchas.
- Este aparato no está diseñado para ser usado mediante un temporizador externo o un sistema de control
remoto independiente.
- Las superficies accesibles se calentarán cuando el aparato esté en funcionamiento.
- Este aparato no deben usarlo personas (niños incluidos) con discapacidades físicas, sensoriales o
mentales o que no tengan la suficiente experiencia o conocimientos a no ser que la persona responsable

RECETA DE GOFRES (PARA UNOS 15 GOFRES)
Ingredientes:
250 g mantequilla
250 g harina de trigo con levadura
250 g azúcar
4 huevos
Derretir lentamente la mantequilla, añadir el azúcar y las 8 yemas de huevo. Mezclar hasta
obtener una sustancia cremosa. Batir a punto de nieve las claras de los 4 huevos. Añadir
lentamente la harina pasada por un colador y mezclar hasta que espese. Para finalizar,
añada las claras de huevo batidas. La mezcla ya está lista para su uso.

PRIMA DI USARE L’APPARECCHIO PER LA PRIMA VOLTA
Leggete attentamente queste istruzioni d’uso e conservatele per eventuali consultazioni future. Verificate
che la tensione di alimentazione dell’apparecchio corrisponda a quella della vostra abitazione. Collegate
l’apparecchio unicamente ad una presa di alimentazione con messa e terra.
Durante il primo impiego la macchina può produrre un po’ di fumo. Questo fenomeno è normale, in
quanto gli elementi riscaldanti sono nuovi, e scompare automaticamente in breve tempo.
USO DELL’APPARECCHIO
Svolgete completamente il cavo prima di inserirlo nella presa di alimentazione. Posizionate l’apparecchio
su una superficie stabile e resistente al calore. Ora potete aprire l’apparecchio. Chiudete l’apparecchio e
lasciate riscaldare le piastre. Non appena le piastre hanno raggiunto la temperatura impostata la spia lumi-
nosa verde “Ready” si spegne.
USO DELLE PIASTRE PER I WAFER
Attendete che le piastre abbiano raggiunto la temperatura d’utilizzo. In caso di impasto liquido, usate un
mestolo per riempire la forma stampata nella piastra inferiore. Fate attenzione che l’impasto si distribuisca
bene. Chiudete l’apparecchio. L’impasto si presserà nelle forme dell’altra piastra. Rimuovete i wafer
quando sono cotti. Usate preferibilmente un forchettone a due punte. Fate attenzione a non danneggiare lo
strato antiaderente!
PULIZIA
TOGLIETE PRIMA LA SPINA DALLA PRESA DI ALIMENTAZIONE.
Pulite l’apparecchio dopo ogni impiego. Lasciate raffreddare completamente l’apparecchio prima di pulirlo.
Pulite la superficie esterna con un panno umido. Non usate oggetti metallici e sostanze aggressive per
pulire lo strato antiaderente.
SUGGERIMENTI PRINCESS
- Posizionate l’apparecchio su una superficie dura, stabile e resistente al calore.
- Non immergete mai l’apparecchio in acqua o in altri liquidi.
- La superficie esterna dell’apparecchio diventa calda. Pertanto prendete l’apparecchio solo per il manico.
- Assicuratevi che l’apparecchio non si trovi mai tanto vicino al bordo del tavolo o del ripiano, da poter
essere accidentalmente scontrato; assicuratevi anche che nessuno possa inciampare o rimanere impigliato
nel cavo di alimentazione.
- Non usate un apparecchio difettoso o il cui cavo di alimentazione sia danneggiato, ma inviatelo al
nostro centro di assistenza. Il cavo di alimentazione di questo tipo di apparecchi può essere sostituito
solo presso il nostro centro di assistenza o da parte di professionisti.
- Non posizionate l’apparecchio su, o in prossimità di, piastre di cottura o altre fonti di calore.
- Togliete sempre la spina dalla presa di alimentazione prima di pulire l’apparecchio o in caso di
funzionamento difettoso.
- Le piastre diventano molto calde, assicuratevi che i bambini non possano toccarle e maneggiatele con cura.
- Non usate detergenti aggressivi.
- Usate l’apparecchio solo come indicato nelle istruzioni d’uso.
- Non usate accessori diversi da quelli consigliato dal produttore.
- Assicuratevi che il cavo di alimentazione non venga a contatto con le piastre.
- L’apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato con timer esterno o con un telecomando separato.
- Quando l’apparecchio è acceso le superfici su cui è a contatto possono essere molto calde.
- Questo apparecchio non può essere utilizzato da persone, bambini inclusi, con ridotte capacità motorie,
psichiche e sensoriali o senza esperienza, se non sono accompagnate e assistite da una
persona che conosce l’uso dell’apparecchio.
- Non lasciare che i bambini giochino con l’apparecchio.
