IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electric appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following:
1. Read all instructions
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock. Do not immerse cord, plug, appliance in water
or any other liquid. If the unit accidentally falls or gets immersed in water, unplug it
from the wall outlet immediately. Do not reach into the water.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
5. This pressure cooker is not intended for use by children.
6. Unplug from electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow cooling
before putting on or taking off parts. If the pressure cooker begins to malfunction
during use, immediately unplug the cord. Do not use or attempt to repair it.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the
nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
8. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may cause injuries.
9. Always operate this appliance on a stable surface.
10.Do not use outdoors. Household use only.
11.Do not let the cord hang over edge of the table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
12.Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
13.Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or
any another hot liquid.
14.Never immerse the housing or base in water.
15.Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To
disconnect, turn any control to off, then remove the plug from wall outlet.
16.Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
17.Risk of electric shock. Cook only in the removable container.
18.This appliance cooks under pressure. Improper use may result in scalding injury.
Make sure that unit is properly closed before operating. See “General Operating
Instructions.”
19.Do not fill the unit over “Max line” marked in the inner pot. When cooking foods
that expand during cooking such as rice, beans or dried vegetables, do not fill unit
over 1/2 (half) full. See “General Operating Instructions”. Overfilling the pressure
cooker may cause clogging, which builds up excess pressure inside and may be
dangerous.
20.It is not recommended to cook foods such as applesauce, cranberries, pearl
barley, oatmeal or other cereals, split peas, noodles, macaroni, rhubarb or

spaghetti. These foods tend to foam, froth and sputter and may block the pressure
release device (exhaust vent). Recipes that use any of these ingredients must be
carefully followed to avoid problems.
21.Always check the pressure release devices for clogging before use. Always make
sure that the exhaust valve is installed correctly before use, Incorrect assembly
may prevent the pressure cooker to build up pressure or allow steam to come out
from the sides of the lid. See “Product Features” and “General Operating
Instructions”.
22.Do not use this pressure cooker for pressure frying with oil.
23.Do not open the pressure cooker until it has cooled off and all internal pressure
has been released. If the pressure cooker is difficult to open, this indicates that
the pressure cooker is still pressurized.
24.Never force the pressure cooker open. Any pressure built up in the cooker can be
hazardous. If you need to open the lid, refer to the instructions in section “Open
the lid” and follow them carefully. Always and most importantly if you follow the
quick pressure release method, protect your skin from any contact with escaping
steam. Once all the pressure has been released, lift carefully away from you in
order to avoid skin contact with the remaining heat or steam.
25.This electric pressure cooker generates heat and escaping steam during use.
CAUTION HOT SURFACES: All necessary precautions should be followed to
avoid fire, burns or other personal injury during its operation. Never use or place
the unit near flammable materials such as dishtowels, paper plates, napkins,
curtains, paper towels, etc. Allow sufficient space around all sides if the unit,
including top and bottom to ensure proper airflow.
26.This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are
under the supervision of a responsible person or have been given proper
instruction in using the appliance. This appliance is not intended for use by
children. Any person who has not fully read and understood all operating and
safety instructions contained in this instruction manual is not qualified to operate
or clean this electric pressure cooker.
27.Never use your pressure cooker without adding water into the pot this would
seriously damage it.
28.When cooking doughy food, gently shake the cooker before opening the lid to
avoid food ejection.
29.The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.
30.The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a
separated remote-control system.

Special Cord Set Instructions:
A short cord is provided to reduce the hazard resulting from becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord. Longer cords and extension cords are available and
maybe used if the marked electrical rating of the longer cord is at least as great as the
electrical rating of the appliance, and if care is taken to arrange the longer cord so
that it will not drape over the counter top or table where it can be pulled on by children
or tripped over accidentally.
Precautions:
•Before use each time, make sure to check the anti-block shield, float valve and
pressure release valve for obstructions; wipe the surface of the inner pot and
heating plate to confirm they are free of any foreign object and make sure the
pressure release valve is in the sealing location.
•After cooking, wait until the cooker cools down for a while and release the
pressure using the pressure release valve. Use extreme caution when
opening the cover. Serious burns can result from steam inside the unit.
•If a part such as wire or plug is damaged or the intelligent pressure cooker
malfunctions, stop the operation immediately and consult the Troubleshooting
and Warranty Service sections.
•Insert the plug into the socket firmly. Incomplete insertion may cause electric
shock or short circuit.
•Any dirt or water attached to the insert shall be removed as it may cause fire.
When not in use, unplug the cord from the power outlet.
•Care must be taken on the seals to avoid deformation. Fail to do so may
prevent the product from working properly.

Before First Use
•Before the first use, please take out all accessories from the package and read
this Manual carefully. Pay particular attention to operational instructions and
cautions to avoid any injury or property damage.
•Prior to each use, inspect to make sure the seal and anti-block shield are
mounted in the lid. After use, remove any foreign object from the seal and
anti-block shield.
•Keep clean to avoid odors.
•Never pull the seal by force, as pull deformation may affect sealing and
pressure effect. A damaged seal should not be used, and unit shall be sent to
the service center for replacement.


Safe Lid Opening Instructions
1. Disconnect the power or the power plug.
2. Releasing pressure
A. Quick opening (for non-fluid food):
•Slide the seal valve to the vent position.
•Put a wet towel on the lid to cool faster until the float valve falls fully.
B. Normal opening:
•Wait until the floating valve drops down, and then open the lid.
3. Open the lid:
Hold the lid handle, turn the lid clockwise to the unlock position and carefully lift
the lid up to open.
Caution:
• Do not open the lid until pressure inside the pot is completely released.
• Never pull out the Pressure Release Valve when it is releasing pressure.
• For fluid foods (thin, thick and sticky liquids), do not slide the Pressure Release
Valve for releasing pressure when cooking is just finished. If you do that, the hot food
fluid may spill from the Pressure Release Valve and cause bodily burn. Be sure to
disconnect the power supply.
• When a large quantity of food is cooked, do not try to release the pressure
immediately after cooking.
• It is recommended to let the food cool down for a while before releasing the
pressure.
WARNING:
Do not hold the pressure release valve. Hot steam/liquid may be ejected.
Keep hands and face away from steam vents, use pot holders when removing the
inner pot or touching any hot items, and never force the lid open. The lid will only
open once the pressure is released. Remove the lid by lifting it away from you to
avoid being burned by the steam.

Operating Instructions
1. Open the lid: Hold the lid handle,
turn the lid clockwise to the
unlock position and carefully
lift the lid up to open. (See picture 1 & 2)
2. Take out the removable cooking pot, put food and water in it.
NEVER fill cooker more than 4/5 or less than 1/5 full. This is indicated on the upper
line on the inside of the cooker identified with the word “FULL”. For rice and
vegetables that expand during cooking, DO NOT fill over 3/5. (See picture 3, 4, 5)
3. Make sure to dry the removable cooking pot and heating plate before putting the
cooking pot into the stationary pot. Do not put anything into the stationary pot and
heating plate. Please rotate the cooking pot slightly to make good contact with the
heating plate. (See picture 6)
4. Close the lid: Make sure the silicone gasket is seated properly inside the lid. Hold
the lid handle and put the lid on the cooker; rotate the lid counter-clockwise
approximately 30 degrees until the lid is aligned with the “CLOSED” mark on the
pot handle. (See picture 7)
5. Install the condensation collector.
6. Put the pressure valve into position; set it to the “Seal” position and make sure the
floater is in the down position before heating. (See picture 9)
7. Connect to the power. The LED display shows “00:00” and it enters into stand-by
state.
8. Choose the corresponding button according to your food recipe, and the relative
indicator will be on.

Cooking Instructions
Operating Instructions
General Cooking Instructions:
1. Follow the steps in Operating Instructions.
2. Connect the power cord. To ensure safety, it is recommended to connect the
power cord to the cooker first and then connect the plug to the power outlet.
3. Select a cooking program function key. Once a function key is pressed, the
indicator of the corresponding function will show the default pressure time. (e.g. rice
function shows 00:12). Cooking and cooling time may vary depending on the different
cooking program selections. Cooking time may vary slightly with the quantity of food
and liquid and textures of food. The cooking timetable below is for reference only.

4. Cooking will start 5 seconds after the selection of a pre-programmed function.
• Within 5 seconds after pressing a program function key, you can still select any
other function keys. The cooker will start working 5 seconds after the final selection.
• Cooking load default is “Medium” press “Cooking Load” to select among the “Light”,
“Medium” & "Heavy" load options.
• During the operation, you can cancel current cooking program in progress and
return to standby model by pressing the “Keep Warm/Cancel” key.
• Within 5 seconds, a long audible beep will sound to indicate the cooking process
has started. A circular motion LED display indicates the pre-heating is in progress.
• As the pressure increases inside the cooker, the pressure lock pin valve will pop
up.
• Once the pressure inside the cooker reaches the desired level, the circular display
on LED panel will change to the cooking time display. The cooking time counts down
to indicate the remaining time in minutes.
• While the cooking is in progress, you can cancel the current cooking program and
return to standby mode by pressing the “Keep Warm/Cancel” key.
• During operation, the pot may make low click sound. This is a normal operation of
the unit controlling the power cycle.
• When cooking with a small quantity of food, the inner pot may appear to be stuck on
the lid by pressure when the lid is opened. In this case, shake the lid slightly, and then
remove the lid after the inner pot falls back into its position.
• When cooking is complete, the corresponding function indicator goes out and the
cooker will make an audible beep. The cooker starts the keep warm function
automatically.
• The "Keep Warm” indicator is on to show the cooker is in the keeping warm function.
It is not recommended to leave the cooked rice in “Keep Warm” state for too long as it
may affect the cooking result.

Adjust Cook Time:
1. Follow steps listed in the operating instructions.
2. Select a corresponding program key.
3. Adjust cook by pressing the “Cooking Load” key. Continue to press the “Cooking
Load” key until you have selected your desired load between “Light”, “Medium” and
“Heavy”. When load is selected, the corresponding cook time appears on the LED
display panel.
Delay Time Setting Instructions
The intelligent pressure cooker has a delay timer function of up to 24 hours. Timer is
recommended to be set to less that 12 hours. In case of a longer programmed delay
perishable foods may not be fresh.
• Follow the steps listed in the Operating Instructions.
• Within 5 seconds after program selection, press the “Delay Time” key to set a
cooking start time. When the “Delay Time” key is pressed, the screen displays Time
End Time Starting with half hour delay (00:30 on display). The green Delay Time
Indicator light starts to flash, press the “+” or “-" keys to increase or decrease the time
by 0.5 hours (30 Minutes). Repeatedly press the “+” or “-" key, until the intended time
value is displayed. The minimum Delay Time is 0.5 hour (30 Minutes). The Time
value will stop increasing when it reaches 24:00 Hours.
• The time value displayed on the LED display indicates when the cooking will start to
cook.
• After 5 seconds of the last push on the “Delay Time” key, the flashing light on the
“Time” key changes to a steady light. This indicates the start of the delay time
countdown.
• To cancel the time delay operation, press the “Keep Warm/Cancel” key.
• The food should start cooking when the delay time counts down to 0. At the end of
the program selected, the cooker will then enter the Keep Warm function
automatically. Using the Keep Warm function for a long period of time is not
recommended.
CAUTION: Perishable foods such as meat, poultry, fish, cheese and other dairy
products cannot be left at room temperature for more than 2 hours or no longer than
1 hour if the room temperature is above 32ºC (89ºF).

Time Cook Setting Instructions
Cook time is the amount of time the pot cooks the food after the inside pressure
reaches the desired level. The “Time Cook” key offers you the option to further
customize the cook time depending on the quantity of food and fluid in the pot. Cook
time can also be set based on your own preference for the desirable texture and the
tenderness of the food. Generally, the more quantity of food and fluid are put in the
pot, the more time it requires to fully cook.
1. Follow steps listed in Operating Instructions.
2. Press the “Time Cook” key to set the cook time. Each press on the “+” or "-” key
increases or decreases the cook time by 1 minute. Repeatedly press the “+” or "-” key
until it reaches the desirable amount of time in minutes. The maximum cook time is
99 minutes.
• If the delayed time function is required, press the “Delay Time” key to set the delay
time value within 5 seconds of last key press. Refer to delay time instructions for
setting the delay time.
3. Cooking complete.
There is an audible beep when cooking is completed, the red “Time Cook” indicator
light comes off, and the yellow indicator light on the “Keep Warm” key comes on. The
cooker automatically goes into keep warm state. If keep warm is not needed, press
the “Keep Warm/Cancel” key to cancel the keep warm function. Open the lid
according to the Safe Lid Opening Instructions. Refer to Safe Lid Opening
Instructions.
Keep Warm Function
After cooking, the selected cooking function indicator light (red) will come off and the
cooker will give an audible beep. The yellow “Keep Warm” indicator light will turn on
to indicate that the cooker started the “Keep Warm” function. In standby mode, the
Keep Warm function can be started by pressing the “Keep Warm/Cancel” key. The
“Keep-Warm” state temperature is 60-80ºC (140-176ºF).
Keeping the food warm for a long time is not recommended, as it may negatively
affect the texture or the taste of the food.

Cleaning and Maintenance
1. Unplug the power cord before cleaning.
2. Clean the outer body with a soft cloth such as a paper towel or microfiber cloth. Do
not immerse the outer body in water or pour water into it.
3. Remove and clean the condensation collector, then re-install it. Clean the center
ring with a wet towel.
4. Rinse with water the underside of the lid including the sealing ring, pressure limit
valve, anti-block shield, air escape and float valve. Dry completely.
5. To hand clean the cooking pot, use a sponge or a soft non-metal brush and wipe.
Be careful not to damage the inside coating. Regular care or maintenance is
essential in ensuring that this product is safe for use.

PRECAUCIONES IMPORTANTES
Al momento de utilizar cualquier electrodoméstico debe seguirse las siguientes
precauciones de seguridad importantes:
1. Lea todas las instrucciones.
2. No toque las superficies calientes. Utilice los mangos o perillas.
3. Con el fin de evitar una descarga eléctrica, no sumerja el cordón, el enchufe ni el
electrodoméstico en agua u otro tipo de líquido. Si el electrodoméstico se cayera
accidentalmente o quedara sumergido en agua, proceda a desenchufar lo
inmediatamente. No meta la mano dentro del agua.
4. Debe supervisarse el funcionamiento del electrodoméstico si éste se utilice la
presencia de niños.
5. Esta olla a presión no ha sido diseñada para ser utilizada por parte de niños.
6. Proceda a desenchufar si no va a utilizar y antes de proceder con la limpieza. Deje
enfriar antes de poner o retirar piezas. Si la olla a presión presentar algún
desperfecto durante su uso, proceda a desenchufar inmediatamente. No intente
utilizar ni reparar el electrodoméstico.
7. No utilice el electrodoméstico si el cordón o el enchufe se encuentran dañados o
después de que esté presente algún desperfecto o haya sufrido algún tipo de
daño. Lleve el electrodoméstico al centro de servicio técnico autorizado más
cercano para que se examine, repare o se haga los ajustes necesarios.
8. El uso de accesorios o aditamentos no recomendados por parte del fabricante
podría causar lesiones.
9. Utilice siempre el electrodoméstico sobre una superficie estable.
10.No utilice el electrodoméstico en exteriores. Sólo para uso doméstico.
11.No permita que el cordón cuelgue del borde la mesa o repostero de cocina ni que
entre en contacto con superficies calientes.
12.No coloque el electrodoméstico encima o cerca de un quemador de cocina a gas o
eléctrico ni dentro de un horno caliente.
13.Debe tenerse sumo cuidado al momento de trasladar el electrodoméstico si éste
contiene aceite caliente o cualquier otro tipo de líquido caliente.
14.Nunca sumerja el electrodoméstico o la base en agua.
15.Siempre conecte el enchufe al electrodoméstico primero y luego proceda a
conectar al tomacorriente. Para desconectar, gire el control a la posición OFF y
luego proceda a desenchufar.
16.No utilice el electrodoméstico para otros fines.
17.Riesgo de descarga eléctrica. Lleve a cabo la cocción solamente en el recipiente
removible.
18.Este electrodoméstico lleva a cabo la cocción bajo presión. El uso inadecuado
podría ocasionar lesiones por quemaduras. Asegúrese de que el electrodoméstico
se encuentre correctamente cerrado antes de utilizarlo. Véase la sección de
“Instrucciones de Funcionamiento en General”.
19.No llene el electrodoméstico más allá de la línea máxima indicada dentro de la olla.
Al momento de llevar a cabo la cocción de alimentos que se expanden durante la

cocción tales como el arroz, frijoles o verduras secas, no llene la olla más allá de
la mitad. Véase la sección de “Instrucciones de Funcionamiento en General”. Si se
llena la olla a presión demasiado se podría causar obstrucciones lo cual podría
ocasionar un exceso de presión ocasionando situaciones de peligro.
20.No se recomienda llevar a cabo la cocción alimentos tales como puré de manzana,
arándanos, cebada, avena u otros cereales, árabe rejas, fideos, o tallarines. Estos
alimentos tienen a producir espuma y a salpicar lo que podría ocasionar una
obstrucción del dispositivo de desfogue de presión (desfogue de ventilación). Las
recetas que utilicen cualquiera de estos ingredientes debe seguirse con sumo
cuidado para evitar contratiempos.
21.Verifique siempre el dispositivo de desfogue de presión para confirmar que no
existan obstrucciones antes de cada uso. Asegúrese siempre de que la válvula de
desfogue se encuentre correctamente instalada antes de cada uso. El armado
incorrecto podría evitar que la olla a presión acumule presión o que se evite la
salida de vapor por los costados de la tapa. Véase la sección “Características del
Producto” e “Instrucciones de Funcionamiento en General”.
22.No utilice la olla a presión con aceite para freír.
23.No habrá la olla a presión hasta que se haya enfriado y hasta que toda la presión
interna haya salido. Si fuera difícil abrir la olla a presión, éste es un indicativo de
que la olla se encuentra aún presurizada.
24.Nunca fuerce la apertura de la olla a presión. Cualquier tipo de presión que quede
dentro de la olla podría ser peligrosa. Si fuera necesario ver la tapa, véase la
sección “Apertura de la Tapa” y siga las instrucciones con cuidado. Siempre he
prestado mucha atención, si se sigue las instrucciones del método de desfogue
rápido, proteja su piel y evite el contacto con el vapor. Una vez que haya salido
toda la presión, alce con cuidado la tapa en sentido contrario para evitar
quemaduras o entrar en contacto con el calor o vapor remanente.
25.Esta olla a presión genera calor y vapor durante su uso.
PRECAUCIÓN SUPERFICIES CALIENTES. Debe tomarse todas las
precauciones necesarias para evitar que se produzca fuego, quemaduras o
cualquier otra lesión durante el funcionamiento. Nunca utilice ni coloque el
electrodoméstico cerca de materiales inflamables tales como toallas, platos de

el correcto flujo de aire.
26.Este electrodoméstico no ha sido diseñado para utilizarse por parte de personas
con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas o con la falta de
experiencia o conocimientos necesarios, a menos que cuenten con la debida
supervisión por parte de una persona responsable títeres haya dado las

sacuda ligeramente la olla antes de abrir la tapa para evitar la eyección de los
alimentos.
29.La superficie de calentamiento puede tener un calor residual después del uso.
30.Este electrodoméstico no ha sido diseñado para utilizarse a través de un
temporizador externo ni de un con sistema de control remoto por separado.

GUARDE ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES
SÓLO PARA USO DOMÉSTICO
Instrucciones especiales sobre el cordón:
Este electrodoméstico viene con un cordón corto con el fin de evitar el peligro de que
alguien se enreden o se tropiece con un cordón más largo. Se puede utilizar cordón
es más largos o cables de este extensión siempre y cuando cuenten con la debida
resistencia eléctrica y que ésta sea mayor a la resistencia eléctrica del
electrodoméstico. Debe tomarse el debido cuidado para acomodar el cordón más
largo de manera que no cuelgue del borde la mesa o repostero de cocina ni que
alguien pueda tirar de él o tropezarse accidentalmente.
Precauciones:
•Antes de cada uso, asegúrese de verificar el protector de anti obstrucciones, la
válvula de flotación y la válvula de desfogue de presión con el fin de revisar
que no presenten ningún tipo de obstrucción. Limpie la superficie de la olla
interna y la base de calentamiento para confirmar de que 50 en libres de
cualquier objeto extraño y asegúrese de que la válvula de desfogue de presión
50 en la ubicación de sellado.
•Después de la cocción, espere hasta que el electrodoméstico se enfríe y que
toda la presión se haya desfogado utilizando la válvula de desfogue de presión.
Tenga sumo cuidado al abrir la tapa. Podría ocasionar se quemaduras graves
si queda aún vapor dentro del electrodoméstico.
