WARNINGS

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
PARTS
Read all instrucons before operang the appliance and keep them for future
reference.
Do not use the kele to heat anything other than water. Never fill the kele beyond
the maximum level indicaon.
Always turn off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket when not in use and
before cleaning.
Do not move the kele during the heang process.
Do not open the kele lid when in operaon.
Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.
Do not place anything on top of the lid.
The use of accessory aachments not recommended by the manufacturer may result
in fire, electrical shock or injury.
Do not use outdoors.
Be careful when opening the lid immediately aer the water has boiled, the steam
coming out of the kele is very hot constung a risk of scalding.
Make sure the boom of the kele and the power base are dry before placing the
kele onto the power base.

OPERATION
CLEANING AND DESCALING
Before first use, it is recommended to operate the kele for 2 to 3 mes following
the instrucons below. This will remove any dust or residues remaining from the
manufacturing process.
Always switch off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow it to cool
down before cleaning.
• Clean the exterior of the kele and the power base using a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
• Clean the interior of the kele with a so sponge and warm, soapy water. If you hand
does not fit in the lid opening, swish warm, soapy water around inside the kele with
the lid closed. Rinse any remaining soapy water from the kele.
• Remove the mesh filter from the spout. Clean it under running water and then
replace it.
• Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaning agent.
• Never immerse the kele and the power base in water.
• Regularly descale the kele using a specific descaler.
1. Place the power base on a dry, flat and stable surface.
2. Open the lid by pressing the lid release buon.
3. Fill kele with desired amount of cold water.
• Always fill the kele between the minimum and maximum marks on the water
level window.
4. Close the lid by pressing it down.
5. Place the kele on the power base and insert the plug into the mains socket.
6. Press the power switch. The water is being heated.
• The indicator light on the power switch will illuminate.
7. The kele will switch off automacally when the water has boiled.
• The indicator light will go out.
• You can stop the boiling process by seng the power switch to the “OFF” posion.
8. Li the kele from the power base and then slowly pour the boiling water.
NOTE: Use the kele only when the lid is closed and the filter is in place.
Cut-out for boil-dry protecon
If you operate the kele without water, the kele will stop heang and automacally
switch off.
If this occurs, allow the kele to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.

MISES EN GARDE IMPORTANTES
Lisez le mode d'emploi dans son intégralité avant d'uliser l'appareil et gardez-le afin
de pouvoir vous y référer ultérieurement.
N'ulisez pas cee bouilloire pour faire chauffer quoi que ce soit d'autre que de l'eau.
Ne remplissez jamais la bouilloire au-delà du trait maximum.
Éteignez et débranchez toujours l'appareil de la prise électrique après usage et avant
de le neoyer.
N'essayez pas de déplacer la bouilloire pendant qu'elle chauffe.
N'ouvrez pas le couvercle de la bouilloire pendant qu'elle chauffe.
Ne laissez pas le câble d’alimentaon pendre du haut d'une table ou d'un plan de
travail, ni entrer en contact avec une surface chaude.
Ne posez rien sur la bouilloire.
L’ulisaon d’accessoires autres que ceux recommandés par le fabricant peut être à
l’origine d’un incendie, de blessures ou de chocs électriques.
Ne pas uliser en extérieur.
Les jets de vapeur sont très chauds et constuent un risque de brûlure: Faites très
aenon lors de l'ouverture du couvercle une fois l'eau portée à ébullion.
Avant de mere la bouilloire sur son socle, assurez-vous que le dessous de la
bouilloire et le socle lui-même sont secs.

Avant la première ulisaon, il est recommandé de faire fonconner la bouilloire à 2
ou 3 reprises (voir instrucons ci-dessous). Cela permet d’enlever la poussière et les
résidus de fabricaon.
1. Placez le socle sur une surface plane, stable et sèche.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton d'ouverture du couvercle.
3. Remplissez la bouilloire de la quanté d'eau froide souhaitée.
• Remplissez toujours la bouilloire entre les traits minimum et maximum de
l'indicateur de niveau d'eau.
4. Refermez le couvercle en appuyant.
5. Placez la bouilloire sur son socle, puis branchez celui-ci.
6. Appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt. L'eau commence à chauffer.
• Le témoin lumineux du bouton marche/arrêt s'allume.
7. Une fois l'eau portée à ébullion, la bouilloire s'éteint automaquement.
• Le témoin s'éteint.
• Vous pouvez interrompre le processus à tout moment en meant le bouton
marche/arrêt en posion d'arrêt.
8. Ôtez la bouilloire du socle d'alimentaon et versez lentement l'eau bouillante.
REMARQUE : La bouilloire ne doit pas être ulisée avec le couvercle ouvert et sans
le filtre en place.

Disposif an chauffage à sec
Si la bouilloire est allumée sans eau à l'intérieur, elle s'arrête de chauffer et s'éteint
automaquement.
Si cela se produit, laissez la bouilloire refroidir, puis remplissez-la avec de l'eau froide
et recommencez.
NETTOYAGE ET DÉTARTRAGE
Débranchez toujours l'appareil de la prise électrique et aendez qu'il ait refroidi avant
de le neoyer.
• Essuyez les surfaces externes et le socle avec un chiffon humide. Séchez bien.
• Neoyez l'intérieur de la bouilloire avec une éponge et de l'eau chaude savonneuse.
Si vous ne pouvez pas passer votre main par l'ouverture du couvercle, meez de l'eau
chaude savonneuse dans la bouilloire, refermez le couvercle et secouez-la. Puis rincez
bien l'intérieur pour enlever toute l'eau savonneuse.
• Sortez le filtre à mailles du bec verseur. Lavez-le sous le robinet, puis remeez-le en
place.
• N'ulisez pas des produits de neoyage chimiques ou abrasifs.
• Ne meez en aucun cas la bouilloire ou le socle dans l'eau.
• La bouilloire doit être régulièrement détartrée au moyen d'un produit détartrant
spécifique.

WAARSCHUWING
● Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor huishoudelijk

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORZORGEN
Lees de volledige gebruiksaanwijzing aandachg voordat u dit apparaat in gebruik
neemt en bewaar voor toekomsg gebruik.
Gebruik de waterkoker voor niets anders dan het verwarmen van water. Vul de
waterkoker nooit voorbij de maximale niveaumarkering.
Schakel de stroom uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer de waterkoker
niet wordt gebruikt en voor het reinigen.
Verplaats de waterkoker niet terwijl hij is ingeschakeld.
Open het deksel niet terwijl de waterkoker is ingeschakeld.
Laat het snoer niet over de rand van een tafel of aanrecht hangen, noch in contact
komen met zeer warme oppervlakken.
Zet niets bovenop het deksel.
Het gebruik van hulpstukken die niet door de fabrikant zijn aanbevolen kan leiden tot
brand, elektrische schokken of verwonding.
Niet buitenhuis gebruiken.
Wees voorzichg als u onmiddellijk nadat het water hee gekookt het deksel gaat
openen. De stoom die uit de waterkoker vrijkomt kan zeer warm zijn en houdt een
gevaar van brandwonden in.
Controleer of de onderkant van de waterkoker en de voet droog zijn voordat u de
kan op de voet met stroomvoeding neerzet.

Voor de eerste ingebruikname is het raadzaam de waterkoker 2 tot 3 keer te laten
werken volgens de onderstaande instruces. Zo worden alle stof en fabricageresten
verwijderd.
1. Zet de voet met stroomvoeding neer op een droge, vlakke en stabiele ondergrond.
2. Open het deksel door te drukken op de losmaakknop van het deksel.
3. Vul de waterkoker met de gewenste hoeveelheid koud water.
• Vul de waterkoker aljd boven de minimummarkering en onder de
maximummarkering op het venster met het waterpeil.
4. Sluit het deksel door ertegen te drukken.
5. Zet de waterkoker neer op de voet met stroomvoeding en sluit de stekker aan op
een stopcontact.
6. Druk op de stroomschakelaar. Het water warmt op.
• Het controlelampje op de stroomschakelaar brandt.
7. De waterkoker schakelt automasch uit wanneer het water kookt.
• Het controlelampje doo dan.
• U kunt het verwarmen ook eerder stoppen door op eender welk ogenblik de
stroomschakelaar naar de stand “OFF” (uit) te schakelen.
8. Til de waterkoker van de voet met stroomvoeding en giet voorzichg het kokende
water uit.
BEDIENING
OPMERKING: gebruik de waterkoker alleen wanneer het deksel is gesloten en met
de filter geïnstalleerd.
Uitschakelen als bescherming tegen droogkoken
Als u de waterkoker zonder water laat werken zal deze stoppen met opwarmen en
automasch uitschakelen.
In dat geval moet u de waterkoker laten aoelen voordat u hem vult met koud water
en opstart.
REINIGEN EN ONTKALKEN
Schakel het apparaat aljd uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact. Laat het apparaat
aoelen voordat u het gaat reinigen.
