• WARNING: Position the lid so that steam is directed
away from the handle.

• CAUTION: Insure that the kettle is switched off
before removing it from its stand.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Place the appliance on a stable flat surface before
use.
• Be careful when opening the lid immediately after
the water has boiled, the steam coming out of the
kettle is very hot constituting a risk of scalding.

• Do not use the kettle to heat anything other than
water. Never fill the kettle beyond the maximum
level indication.
• Make sure the bottom of the kettle and the power
base are dry before placing the kettle onto the power
base.
PARTS
OPERATION
Before first use, it is recommended to operate the kettle for 2 to 3 times
following the instructions below. This will remove any dust or residues
remaining from the manufacturing process.
1. Remove kettle from power base.
2. Open the lid and fill kettle with desired amount of cold water.
Always fill the kettle between the minimum and maximum marks on
the water level window.
3. Close the lid by pressing it down until it clicks into place.
4. Place the kettle on the power base and insert the plug into the mains
socket.
5. Press the power switch. The water is being heated.
• The power indicator light will illuminate.

6. The kettle will switch off automatically when the water boils.
• The power indicator light will go out.
• You can stop the boiling process by lifting the power switch.
NOTE: Use the kettle only when the lid is closed and the filter is in place.
Cut-out for boil-dry protection
If you operate the kettle without water, the kettle will stop heating and
automatically switch off.
If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and
re-boiling.

CLEANING AND DESCALING
• Always unplug the appliance from the mains socket
and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
• Do not use chemical, steel wool or abrasive cleaner
to clean the appliance.
• Clean the outside of the ke le and the power base
using a slightly damp cloth.
• Remove the filter from the spout. Clean it under
running water and then replace it.
• Regularly descale the kettle using a specific descaler.
• Wipe the inside of the kettle with a clean cloth.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ IMPORTANTES

l'ouverture du couvercle une fois l'eau portée à

• Avant de mettre la bouilloire sur son socle, assurez-

même sont secs.

DESCRIPTION
UTILISATION
Avant la première utilisation, il est recommandé de faire fonctionner la
bouilloire à 2 ou 3 reprises (voir instructions ci-dessous). Cela permet
d’enlever la poussière et les résidus de fabrication.
1. Re rez la bouilloire de son socle.
2. Ouvrez le couvercle et remplissez la bouilloire de la quantité d'eau
froide souhaitée.
Remplissez toujours la bouilloire entre les traits minimum et maximum
de l'indicateur de niveau d'eau.
3. Refermez le couvercle en appuyant jusqu'à ce qu'il se verrouille.
4. Placez la bouilloire sur son socle, puis branchez celui-ci.
5. Appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt. L'eau commence à chauffer.
• Le voyant lumineux de la bouilloire s’allume.
6. Une fois l'eau portée à ébullition, la bouilloire s'éteint
automatiquement.
• Le voyant lumineux s'éteint.
• Vous pouvez interrompre le processus à tout moment en soulevant
le bouton marche / arrêt.
REMARQUE : La bouilloire ne doit pas être utilisée avec le couvercle
ouvert et sans le filtre en place.

Dispositif anti-chauffe à sec
Si la bouilloire est allumée sans eau à l'intérieur, elle s'arrête de chauffer
et s'éteint automatiquement.
Si cela se produit, laissez la bouilloire refroidir,puis remplissez-la avec de
l'eau froide et recommencez.

NETTOYAGE ET DÉTARTRAGE
• Débranchez toujours l'appareil de la prise électrique
et attendez qu'il ait refroidi avant de le nettoyer.
• N'utilisez pas de produit chimiques, de laine de verre
ou de nett abrasif pour nettoyer l'appareil.
• Essuyez les surfaces externes et le socle avec un
chiffon humide.
• Sortez le filtre du bec verseur. Lavez-le sous le
robinet, puis remettez-le en place.
• La bouilloire doit être régulièrement détartrée au
moyen d'un produit détartrant spécifique.
• Essuyez l'intérieur de la bouilloire avec un chiffon
propre.

WAARSCHUWINGEN
• Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor huishoudelijk en
gelijkaardig gebruik, zoals:
−In personeelskeukens van winkels, kantoren en
andere werkomgevingen
−In boerderijen
−Door klanten in hotels, motels en andere
omgevingen van het residentiële type
−In omgevingen zoals van een bed-en-breakfast.
• Een beschadigd netsnoer mag uitsluitend worden
vervangen door de fabrikant, een erkende
reparatieservice of personen met gelijkwaardige
kwalificaties om gevaar te voorkomen.
• Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen
vanaf 8 jaar als zij onder toezicht staan of instructies
betreffende het veilige gebruik van dit apparaat
hebben ontvangen en inzicht hebben in de gevaren
die het gebruik ervan kan inhouden. Reinigen en
onderhoud mogen alleen worden gedaan door

• WAARSCHUWING: risico van verwonding als dit
apparaat niet correct wordt gebruikt.
• Het de oppervlakte van het warmte-elementblijft na
gebruik nog een tijd zeer warm.
• Een waarschuwing om morserij op het
verbindingsstuk te voorkomen.

aansluiting.
• Tijdens de werking van het apparaat kan de

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORZORGEN
• Zet het apparaat neer op een vlakke, stabiele
ondergrond voordat u het in gebruik neemt.
• Wees voorzichtig wanneer u meteen nadat het
water kookt het deksel opent. De stoom die uit de
waterkoker ontsnapt is heet en houdt een gevaar van
brandwonden in.
• Gebruik de waterkoker niet voor het opwarmen
van andere zaken dan waterkoker nooit voorbij de
indicatie van het maximumpeil.
• Controleer of de onderzijde van de waterkoker en de
voet met stroomvoeding droog zijn voordat u de kan
op de voet neerzet.

WERKING
Het is raadzaam de waterkoker voor de eerste ingebruikname 2 tot 3
keer te laten koken volgens de onderstaande stappen. Dit zal alle stof of
fabricageresten verwijderen.
1. Neem de kan van de voet.
2. Open het deksel en vul de waterkoker met de gewenste hoeveelheid
koud water.
Vul de waterkoker altijd tot tussen de minimum- en
maximummarkeringen die op het venster van het waterpeil zijn
aangegeven.
3. Sluit het deksel door erop te drukken zodat het vastklikt.
4. Zet de waterkoker op de voet en stop de stekker in een stopcontact.
5. Druk op de stroomschakelaar. Het water warmt nu op.
• De stroomindicator brandt.
6. De waterkoker schakelt automatisch uit nadat het water het kookpunt
heeft bereikt.
• De stroomindicator dooft.
• U kunt het kookproces eerder uitschakelen door de aan/uit-
schakelaar op te tillen.
OPMERKING: gebruik de waterkoker alleen met gesloten deksel en met
de filter in de correcte plaats.
Stroomonderbreking als bescherming tegen droogkoken
Als u de waterkoker zonder water laat werken zal deze stoppen met
opwarmen en automatisch uitschakelen.
In dit geval moet u de waterkoker laten afkoelen voordat u hem met koud
water vult en weer koken.

REINIGEN EN ONTKALKEN
• Haal altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het
apparaat afkoelen voordat u het gaat reinigen.

• Gebruik geen chemische of agressieve
reinigingsmiddelen of staalwol om dit apparaat te
reinigen.
• Reinig de buitenkant van de waterkoker en de voet
met een licht-bevoch gde doek.
• Verwijder de filter uit de tuit. Reinig de filter onder
stromend water en zet weer in.
• Ontkalk de waterkoker regelmatig met behulp van
speciaal daarvoor ontworpen ontkalker.
• Veeg de binnenkant van de waterkoker schoon met
een schone doek.
