Positiontheapplianceandallowittostandfortwotothreehoursbeforeitisturnedonforthefirsttime
toallowthesystemtosettle.Donotpositionnexttoanyheatsourcee.g.cooker,boilerorindirect
sunlightetc.
Allowatleast10cmofspaceatthetopand10cmofspaceonbothsidesoftheapplianceandbetween
thebackoftheapplianceandthewallforadequateaircirculation.Theapplianceisnotdesignedfor
recessedinstallation(“buildingin”).
Installonagoodfirmlevelsurface,andanyunevennessofthefloorshouldbecorrectedpriorto
installation,slightunevennesscanbeovercomebyadjustingthefrontfeet.
NOTE:Iftheapplianceispositionedonacarpet,softfloorcoveringyoushouldreadjustthefrontfeet
oncetheappliancehashadtimetosettle.
OPERATION
•Thisapplianceisdesignedtooperateinambienttemperaturebetween16℃and38℃.Ifthese
temperaturesareexceeded,i.e.colderorwarmer,theappliancewillnotoperatecorrectly.Ifthe
ambienttemperaturesareexceededforlongperiods,thetemperatureinthefreezersectionwillrise
above‐18℃andfoodspoilagemayoccur.
•Removeallpackagingmaterialsfromtheappliance.Washtheinsideofthecabinetwithlukewarm
waterandbicarbonateofsoda(5mlto0.5litreofwater).Drytheappliancethoroughly.
•Whenyouusethefreezercompartmentforthefirsttimeorafterdefrosting,setthethermostatcontrol
tothemaximumpositionforatleast2hoursbeforeintroducingfoodtobestored,andthenreadjustto
thenormalposition.
•Ifthereisapowerfailure,donotopenthedoor.Frozenfoodshouldnotbeaffectedifthefailurelasts
forlessthan12hours.Ifthefailureislonger,thenthefoodshouldbecheckedandeithereaten
immediatelyorcookedandthenre‐frozen.
Settingthethermostatknob
Theapplianceiscontrolledwithathermostatknoblocatedinsidethefridge,towardstheupper
right‐handcorner.TurntheknobfromtheOFFpositiontowardsthehighernumbersforcolder
temperatures.Theknobcanbeadjustedfromsetting1to7.
Highersettingsontheknob(highernumbers)meanlowertemperatures(colder)inallcompartmentsof
theappliance.
Changesoftheambienttemperatureaffecttemperatureintheinterioroftheappliancesochoosea
correctsettingofthetemperaturecontrolknob,dependingonyourambientconditions.
IntheOFFpositiontheappliancedoesnotoperate(thecoolingsystemisswitchedoff),butpower
supplyisnotinterrupted.
Setthethermostatknobtoamiddlepositiontoachieve‐18℃inthefreezercompartment.
PleaseNote:Iftheapplianceisswitchedoffyoumustwaitatleast5minutesbeforerestartingthe

applianceorre‐insertingtheplugintothewalloutlet.Thisistoallowtheprotectiondeviceinthe
compressortoreset.
Ifthecompressorfailstostartcorrectlyremovetheplugandwaitfor5minutesbeforeyoutryagain
thenthecompressorshouldrestartnormally.
Thestoragetemperaturemaybeaffectedby:
•Theroomtemperature
•Howoftenthedoorisopened
•Howmuchfoodisstored
•Positionoftheappliance
Whenyousetthecorrecttemperature,allthesefactorsmentionedaboveshallbetakenintoaccount.
Shoppingforfrozenfood
Theapplianceisratedasa4starfreezerandcanfreezefreshfoodandstorepre‐frozenfood.Whenyou
arebuyingfrozenfood,lookattheStorageGuidelinesonthepackaging.Youwillbeabletostoreeach
itemoffrozenfoodfortheperiodshownagainstthe4starrating.
Freezingfreshfood
Ensurethatyourfreezingoperationsarecarriedoutunderthemosthygienicconditionsasfreezing
alonedoesnotimprovethefood.
Neverputhotorevenwarmfoodstuffsintothefreezercompartment.
Priortofreezingthefood,foodshouldalwaysbecoveredtightlywithfoil,plasticfilm,placedinplastic
bagsorstoredinairtightcontainers.Thiswillpreventfoodfromdehydratingandtopreventanystrong
odoursofsomefoodstransferringtomilderones.
Storingfoodintherefrigeratorcompartment
Donotallowrawmeattocomeintocontactwithcookedfoods.Forsafety,onlystoreraw
meatfortwoorthreedays.Fruitandvegetablesshouldbethoroughlycleanedandplaced
inthecrisper.
Milkandotherliquidsshouldbesealedwithlidsandplacedinthebottleshelfinthedoor.
NOTE:Theambienttemperatureofthefreshlystoredfoodandhowoftenthedoorisopenedaffectthe
temperatureintherefrigeratorcompartment.Ifrequired,changethethermostattemperature
settings.
Storingfrozenfood
Allfrozenfoodyoupurchaseshouldbeplacedinthefreezercompartmentassoonaspossibletoavoid
themfromdefrostingandspoiling.
Allstoragerecommendationsprintedonthepackagingoffrozenfoodbythemanufacturershould
alwaysbefollowed.
Whenusingthefreezercompartmentforthefirsttimeorafterdefrosting,setthethermostatknobto
themaximumpositionforatleast2hoursbeforeintroducingfoodtobestored,andthenreadjustitto
thenormalposition.

Makingicecubes
1. Filltheicetray(notsupplied)with¾fullofcleanwater.
2. Placethetrayinthefreezercompartment.
3. Closethedoor.
Toremovetheicecubesfromthetray,putthetrayunderrunningwaterforawhileandthentwistthe
trayslightlytoloosentheicecubes.
Reversingthedoor
Refrigeratorcompartmentdefrosting
Therefrigeratorcompartmentdefrostingprocessiscarriedoutautomaticallyeverytimethecompressor
stops.
Thedefrostwaterisautomaticallyroutedtothedrainportandintoatrayplacedonthetopofthe
compressortotherearoftheappliancefromwhichitevaporates.
Makesurethedrainportontherefrigeratorcompartmentattherearoftheapplianceiskeptclear.

Freezercompartmentdefrosting
Frostwillaccumulateinsidethefreezercompartmentdependinguponthelengthoftimeduringwhich
thedoorisleftopenortheamountofmoistureintroduced.
Itisessentialtoensurethatnofrostoriceisallowedtoformatplaceswhereitwillaffecttheclose
fittingofthedoorseal.
Thismightallowairtopenetratethecabinet,thusencouragingcontinuousrunningofthecompressor.
Thinfrostformationisquitesoftandcanberemovedwithabrushorplasticscraper.Donotusemetalor
sharpscrapers,mechanicaldevicesorothermeanstoacceleratethedefrostingprocess.Removeall
dislodgedfrostfromthecabinetfloor.
Fortheremovalofthinfrostitisnotnecessarytoswitchofftheappliance.
Fortheremovalofheavyicedepositsdisconnecttheappliancefromthemainssupplyandemptythe
contentsintocardboardboxesandwrapinthickblanketsorlayersofpapertokeepthemcold.
Defrostingwillbemosteffectiveifcarriedoutwhenthefreezercompartmentisempty,anditshouldbe
carriedoutasquicklyaspossible.
Anincreaseintemperatureoffrozenfoodpackagesduringdefrostingwillshortenthestoragelife.
Providedthatthecontentsarewellwrappedandplacedinacoolarea,theyshouldkeepforseveral
hours.
Examinethecontentswhenreplacingtheminthefreezerandifsomeofthepackageshavethawedout.
Afterdefrostingisfinishedcleantheinsidewithasolutionofwarmwaterwithalittlebicarbonateof
sodaandthendrythoroughly.Washallremovablepartsinthesamewayandreassemble.
Reconnecttheappliancetothemainssupplyandleavefor2to3hoursonsettingnumber5before
introducingthefoodbackintothefreezercompartmentandsettingthethermostattoyournormal
setting.
Noisefromyourappliance
Youmaynoticesomeratherunusualnoises.Thenoisesarecausedbycirculationofrefrigerantinthe
coolingsystem.IthasbecomemorepronouncedsincetheintroductionofCFCfreegases.Thisisnota
faultandwillnotaffecttheperformanceofyourfridge.
Prolongedoffperiods
Iftheapplianceisnotinuseforalongperiodoftime,proceedasfollows:

The LED light in the appliance cannot be replaced by the user. If the LED light stops working,please
contact the local authorized service agent.

Check the appliance is level and it is not in contact with another appliance or kitchen furniture.
The appliance does not cool sufficiently.
If the door has been opened too often or it has been left open for a while it will take time for the
appliance to reach its set temperature.
Check the airflow over the rear of the appliance has not been reduced due to insufficient
clearance.
Check if a large quantity of fresh food has been introduced.

INSTALLATION
Mettezl’appareilenpositionpuisattendezdeuxàtroisheuresavantdelemettreenmarchepourla
premièrefois,letempsquelesystèmesemetteenplace.L'appareilnedoitpasêtreplacéàproximité
d’unesourcedechaleur(ex:cuisinière,chaudière,lumièredirectedusoleiletc.).
Afindepermettreunebonneventilation,laissezunespaced’aumoins10cmau‐dessusdel’appareilet
de10cmsurlescôtésetderrière.Cetappareiln’estpasconçupouruneinstallationencastrée.
L’appareildoitêtreinstallésurunesurfaceplane,solideetstable;touteirrégularitéduplancherdoit
êtrecorrigéeavantl’installation;sil’appareilestlégèrementbancal,ajustezlahauteurdespiedsde
devant.
REMARQUE:Sil’appareilestplacésuruntapisouunrevêtementdesolsouple,réglezdenouveaules
piedsavantunefoisquel’appareileststabilisé.
UTILISATION
Cetappareilestconçupourfonctionnerdansunetempératureambiantesituéeentre16°Cet
38°C.L'appareilnepeutpasfonctionnercorrectementendehorsdecetteplagede
température.Silatempératureambianteestdépasséependantunelonguedurée,la
températuredanslecongélateurremonteraau‐dessusde‐18°Cetlesalimentsrisquentde
s'abîmer.
Avantlapremièreutilisation,retireztouslesmatériauxd’emballagedel’appareil.Lavez
l'intérieurdel'appareilavecdel'eautièdeetdubicarbonatedesoude(5mlpour50cld'eau).
Séchezbienl'appareil.
Lorsdelapremièreutilisationcompartimentducongélateuretaprèsledégivrage,mettezle
thermostatsurlecranmaximalaumoins2heuresavantdemettrelesaliments,puisremettez‐le
enpositionnormale.
Encasdecoupuredecourant,n’ouvrezpaslaporte.Lesalimentssurgelésnedevraientpasêtre
affectéssilacoupureduremoinsde12heures.Encasdecoupurepluslongue,vérifiezles
alimentset,lecaséchéant,consommez‐lesimmédiatementoufaites‐lescuireavantdeles
recongeler.
Réglageduthermostat
Leréfrigérateurestcommandéparunboutondethermostatsituéenhautàdroite.Pourréglerle
réfrigérateurplusfroid,tournezleboutonducranOFF(0)verslesnombresélevés.Lethermostatpeut
êtrerégléde1à7.
Plusleboutonestsurunchiffreélevé,pluslatempératureestbassedanstouslescompartimentsde
l’appareil.
Leschangementsdetempératureambianteaffectentlatempératureàl’intérieurdel’appareil;ilest
doncimportantderéglerl’appareilenfonctiondesconditionsambiantes.
