TheIP GatewayWebConfigurationMenu canbeaccessedbythe
following URL: http://Gateway-IP-Address. ThedefaultLANIPaddress
is “192.168.10.1”andWANIPaddress is “192.168.1.179”. Iftheweb
loginportofthegatewayis configuredas non-80 standardport, thenuser
needtoinput http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx/, otherwisethewebwill show
thatnoserverhas beenfound. Itwill beshownas follows:

4.1User verification
Usershouldloginbeforeconfigurating dialoguemachine.
Guestaccount:thedefault usernameandpasswordareall “guest”,user
canhaveabrowseofsystemand configurethemostofitemofsystem
excludeSIP.
Administratoraccount:thedefaultusernameandpasswordareall
“admin”, this usercanconfigurethesystem.
Note:afterinputtingusernameandpassword,userpresscarriage
returndirectlytoenterthepage.
4.2Currentstate
Onthispageusercangatherinformationofeachcommonly-used
parameterofthegateway,itisshownasthefollowingfigure:thenetwork
sectionshowsthecurrentWAN,LANconfigurationsofthegateway:
includinggainingwayofWANIPandIPaddress staticstate,DHCP,
PPPoE),MACaddress, WANIPaddress ofthegateway,LANIPaddress
ofthegateway, opening stateofLANDHCPserver.
TheVoIPsectionshows thecurrentprotocolinuse, andserverparameters
inuseofeachprotocol:includingRegisterserverIPofSIP,proxyserver
IPaddress, whetherenablesregister,whetherhasregisteredonregister
server, whetherenables outboundproxy, whetherenables STUN server.

4.3Networkconfiguration
4.3.1Widearea network WAN）
UsercanviewthecurrentnetworkIPlinkingmodeofthesystemonthis
page.
UserwillbeauthorizedtosetthenetworkIP,Gatewayand DNSifthe
systemadopts thestaticlinking mode.
IfthesystemselectsDHCPservice inthenetworkwhichisusingDHCP
service, IPaddress will begaineddynamically.
IfthesystemselectsPPPOEservice inthenetworkwhichisusingthe

internetandpasswordoftheaccount.

Usercanmakelocalarea network(LAN)configurationonthispage,
whenbridging modeisselected,thelocalarea network(LAN)
configurationwill nolongergointoeffect.
ConfigurationExplanation:
BridgeMode Usebridgemode(transparentmode):bridgemode
willmakethegatewaynolongersetIP address for
LAN physicalport,LANandWANwilljoininthe
samenetwork.
IP ConfigureLANstaticIP.
Netmask ConfigureLANsubnetmask.
DHCPService EnableLANportDHCPserver;afterusermodify
LAN IP,thegatewaywillautomaticallymodifythe
adjustmentandsavetheconfigurationaccordingtoIP
andsubnetmaskteamDHCPLeaseTable,userneed

configurationgointoeffect.

RegisterExpire
Time ConfigureexpiretimeofSIPserverregister,the default is600 seconds. Iftheexpiretimethatserver
requiresismoreorless thanthatconfiguredbythe
gateway,thegatewaycanautomaticallymodifyitto
therecommendedtimelimitandregister.
DetectInterval
Time Configuredetectionintervaltimeoftheserver,ifthe gatewayenablesSIPdetectionserverfunction,the
gatewaywill detectonce forwhethertheserverhas
responseeveryotherdetectionintervaltime.
RFCProtocol
EditionEnablethegatewaytouseprotocoledition. Whenthe gatewayneedtocommunicatewithgatewayswhich
isusingSIP1.0suchas CISCO5300 andsoon, thenit
shouldbeconfiguredintoRFC2543 tocommunicate
normally. thedefaultis toenableRFC3261.
DTMFMode DTMFsendingmodeconfiguration;three kinds:the
abovearebasicconfigurations ofSIP.
UserAgent TobecompatiblewithsomespecialSIPServers, the
gatewayhas madesomechanges:

OutboundProxy Configuretoenablepublicoutbound proxy.Ifproxy serverhasbeenenabled,thegatewaywillconsider
theuserasusingoutbound proxy automatically.Ifthe
configurationhasbeendisabled,thegatewaycanstill
beregisteredtotheserver,butcan'tmakeSIPcall;

nothaveimpacts onSIPpoint-to-pointcall.
AutoDetect
ServerConfigureautomaticdetectionserverofthegateway.
ServerAutoSwap
Configuremainandbackup auto-swapserver;ifthe
gatewayenablesmainandbackupserverfunction,
theautomaticdetectionandauto-swapfunctions
shouldbothbechosen.
Note:ifyouwant toregisterandcallthroughserver,youmust
configurecorrespondingnumbers whichareusuallySIPaccounts）
tolocalport,otherwisethegateway will rejectforsendingout
registermessagewhenitconsiders thatthereis nonumber.
4.5Advance configuration
4.5.1Net Service configuration
UsercansetupTelnet,HTTP,RTPportonthispageandviewDHCP
table.
AftertheaforesaidnetworkandVoIPconfiguration,ifthenetw
orkcan
communicatecorrectly,theusershouldbeabletomakeVOIPcalls
through theregisterandproxy.
Aftersubmittingtheconfiguration,ifthestatusisstillincorrect
,click
themenuinthelefttorenovate.Pleasedo notclickthe “apply
”
continuously
,since someISPmayinhibitthegatewaytoregisteror
cancelcontinuously.Ifusersclick “apply”continuously
,orregister
andcancelfrequently,theservermaystopresponse,thiswill makethe
gatewaycannotreceivethecertificationsofregister
/cancelrequest
andshowerrorregisterstatus!

ConfigurationExplanation:
HTTPPort Configurewebbrowseport,thedefault is80 port,if
youwanttoenhance systemsafety,you'dbetter
changeitintonon-80 standardport.
TelnetPort Configuretelnetport, thedefaultis 23 port.
RTPInitialPort EnableRTPinitialportconfiguration.Itisdynamic
allocation.
RTPPortQualityConfigurethemaximumquantityofRTPport.The
defaultis 200.
LeasedIP
Address LeasedIP-MACcorrespondence tableofDHCP.
Note:
1)Theconfigurationonthispageneedstobesavedaftermodified

4.5.2SIPadvancedconfiguration
SetSIPSTUN, privateandbackupserver, userpasswordandsoon.
SIPSTUN isakindofserverthatusedtorealize theSIP senablementof
NAT,whentheSTUN serverIPofthegatewayhasbeenconfigured
generallythedefaultis3478）andEnableSIPStunhasbeenselected,
conventionalSIPservercanbeusedtorealize thegateway'spenetration
ofNAT.
Publicbackupservercanimplementtheproxyofthedialoguemachine
throughauto-swapfunctionwhennoresponsetopublicserver.Whenthe
gatewaydetectresponseofpublicserver,itwill auto-swaptopublic
server.Publicbackupserverisredundancybackupofpublicserver,it
shouldhavethesameaccountwithpublicserver.
Thegateway ssupportstotwodifferentkindsofSIPserverconcurrently
canbeimplementedonprivateserver.Inthiswayusercanregisterand
usetwodifferentkinds ofservices concurrently.
