The Yudu™screen-printing system
is the easiest, cleanest way to show everyone who you are and how you see the world.
Express yourself with custom-printed apparel, home decor, art and much more.
STEP 1: PREPARE YOUR SCREEN
1. Spray screen with water. It should be wet, but not dripping.
2. Place screen on Yudu™lid, back facing up.
3. Apply the dull/sticky side of the emulsion sheet to back of screen.
4. Squeegee across the emulsion sheet.
5. Place screen in drying rack. Press fan button and dry 20-45 minutes.
Machine will beep when screen is dry.
6. Remove plastic film.
STEP 2: CREATE YOUR DESIGN
1. Create computer design or draw directly on transparency. Separate color
layers for multicolored designs.
2. Tape transparency to glass. Place screen, emulsion side down, on
registration posts. Place platen on platen posts, felt side down.
3. Close lid. Place 5 lbs. of weight on top of platen. Press exposure button.
4. Rinse screen with cool water to remove emulsion from design areas.
5. Place screen in drying rack. Press fan button. Machine will beep when
screen is dry.
STEP 3: PRINT YOUR DESIGN
1. Tape front of screen around edges to seal open areas.
2. Mount T-shirt on platen. Open lid, place platen on platen posts. Close lid.
3. Apply a generous bead of ink onto the screen just above and least as wide
as the design.
4. Flood screen with ink by gently pulling squeegee across the design.
5. Lower lid and grasp squeegee with both hands. Pull squeegee across screen
using firm, even downward pressure.
STEP 4: HEATSET DESIGN
1. Allow ink to dry.
2. For apparel items, heat set ink. Using high setting on an iron, cover
design with paper or cloth and iron 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
