ENGLISH
The Core external power adapter is designed to power the thermal imaging devices (sights, attachments) of the
CORE series from external power sources such as the Power bank and EPS3I (SKU: 79113) or EPS5 (SKU: 79112)
rechargeable batteries.

How to connect
• Open and remove the cover of the Core battery box (1).
• Install the external power adapter into the battery box of the device (see
Fig.).
• Make sure the latches (C) of the adapter have closed with a snap on both
sides.
• Fix the cover (1) on the adapter.
• Connect your Power bank to a USB port (5 V) or an EPS3I / EPS5 power
supply unit to an external power connector (12 V). Switch on the device.
• To remove the external power adapter, press the latches on both sides.
Remove the adapter.
Note: When using your own power supply in the power plug connected to the
device, the central contact must be “+”.
Possible marking on the plug or power source: .
Attention! When operating from an external power source, the battery
discharge indication ( icon within the device) does not show the current
charge level.

• Do not leave a working device with a connected external power source unattended.
• Do not use the adapter if its construction has been altered or damaged.
• Do not expose the adapter to high temperatures and naked ame.
• Do not immerse the adapter.
• Do not dismantle or deform the adapter.
• Do not subject the adapter to strikes and falls.
Troubleshooting
The table shows a list of potential problems that may occur when using the adapter. Carry out the
recommended checks and troubleshooting steps following the order listed within the table. If there are defects
that are not listed below, or it is impossible to repair the defect yourself, the device should be returned to be
repaired.

Procédure de connexion
• Ouvrez et retirez le couvercle du logement de batteries (1) de l’appareil
Core.
• Installez l’adaptateur secteur externe dans le logement de batteries
de l’appareil (voir g.). Vériez que les loquets (C) de l’adaptateur
s’enclenchent des deux côtés.
• Fixez le couvercle (1) sur l’adaptateur.
• Branchez votre Power bank au connecteur USB (5 V) ou le bloc
d’alimentation EPS3I/EPS5 au connecteur d’alimentation externe (12 V).
Allumez l’appareil.
• Pour retirer l’adaptateur secteur externe, appuyez sur les loquets des deux
côtés. Sortez l’adaptateur.
Remarque. En cas d’utilisation du propre bloc d’alimentation dans la prise
d’alimentation connectée à l’appareil, la broche centrale doit être “+”.
Marquage possible sur la prise ou la source d’alimentation
Attention! Lorsque vous utilisez une source d’alimentation externe,
l’indication de décharge de la batterie (icône dans l’appareil) ne reète
pas le niveau de charge actuel.

doit être renvoyé pour réparation.

Anschlussverfahren
• Öffnen und nehmen Sie den Deckel des Batteriebehälters (1) des Core
Gerätes ab.
• Stecken Sie den Adapter für externe Stromversorgung in den
Batteriebehälter des Gerätes (s. Abb.) ein. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Riegel
(C) des Adapters auf beiden Seiten einrasten.
• Befestigen Sie den Deckel (1) am Adapter.
• Schließen Sie Ihre Power Bank an einen USB-Anschluss (5 V) oder den
Akkupack EPS3I / EPS5 an einen externen Stromanschluss (12 V) an.
Schalten Sie das Gerät ein.
• Um den Adapter für externe Stromversorgung zu entfernen, drücken Sie auf
die Riegel auf beiden Seiten. Ziehen Sie den Adapter heraus.
Anmerkung: Wenn Sie Ihre eigene Stromquelle benutzen, muss der
Mittelkontakt im ans Gerät anzuschließenden Netzstecker “+” sein.
Mögliche Markierung am Stecker oder an der Stromquelle ist .
Achtung! Beim Betrieb von einer externen Stromquelle zeigt die Anzeige
des Batterieladezustands (Piktogramm im Gerät) den aktuellen
Batterieladezustand nicht .

Modo de conexión

Ordine di connessione
• Aprire e rimuovere il coperchio del modulo batteria (1) del dispositivo Core.
• Installare l'adattatore di alimentazione esterna nel modulo batteria del
dispositivo (vedi Fig.). Assicurarsi che gli arresti (C) dell'adattatore scattino
in posizione su entrambi i lati.
• Fissare il coperchio (1) sull'adattatore.
• Collegare il Power bank ad un connettore USB (5 V) o un gruppo di
alimentazione EPS3I/EPS5 ad un connettore di alimentazione esterna (12 V).
Accendere il dispositivo.
• Per rimuovere l'adattatore di alimentazione esterna premere gli arresti su
entrambi i lati. Rimuovere l'adattatore.
Nota. Quando si utilizza la sorgente di alimentazione autonoma nella
connettore di alimentazione collegata al dispositivo, il contatto centrale deve
essere “+”.
Possibile marcatura sul connettore o sorgente di alimentazione .
Attenzione! Quando si utilizza la sorgente di alimentazione esterna,
l'indicazione di scarica della batteria (pittogramma nel dispositivo) non
mostra l'attuale livello di carica.

Порядок подключения
• Откройте и снимите крышку контейнера батарей (1) прибора Core.
• Установите адаптер внешнего питания в контейнер батарей прибора
(см. Рис.). Убедитесь в том, что защелки  адаптера защелкнулись с
обеих сторон.
• Закрепите крышку (1) на адаптере.
• Подключите Ваш Power bank к разъему USB (5 В) либо блок питания
EPS3I/EPS5 к разъему внешнего питания (12 В). Включите прибор.
• Чтобы извлечь адаптер внешнего питания, нажмите на защелки с обеих
сторон. Выньте адаптер.
 При использовании собственного источника питания в
штекере питания, подключаемом к прибору, центральный контакт должен
быть “+”.
Возможная маркировка на штекере или источнике питания
При работе от источника внешнего питания индикация
разряда батареи (пиктограмма в приборе) не отражает актуальный
уровень заряда.
