The pulsating dc current produced by this product may
interfere with the correct operation of some electronic
devices when the unit is placed near the antenna. In order
to ensure no interference, the circuit box should be placed
away from the antenna.
• Be sure to keep the solar panel clean of dirt and dust so
that it has optimum access to sunlight.
• The circuit box has no moving parts so maintenance is
unnecessary.
• Periodically check to make sure the positive and nega-
tive wires are securely fastened to the battery terminals.

What SolarPulse Can Do For You
SolarPulse is one of the most effective methods available for charging your
12-volt lead-acid batteries. Besides charging, it also uses our patented Pulse
Technology®to remove and prevent the buildup of lead-sulfate deposits on
your battery plates.
By keeping the plates clean, your battery recharges faster, accepts a full
charge and releases all its stored energy.
The SP-12-OBD-A 12-Watt SolarPulse unit has three components:
• Solar Panel with quick disconnect for easier installation
• Circuit Box housing our exclusive Pulse Technology
• OBD2 connector
Installation is quick and easy. Just follow the steps inside.
WARNING: Because of the possibility of personal injury, always use extreme
caution when working with batteries.

Remove the suction cups and solar panel from the box.
Screw a suction cup into each of the four corners of the
solar panel.
Make sure the suction cups are securely attached to
the solar panel, and the bottom of the suction cups are
clean. Mount the solar panel on the inside of the vehicle
windshield where it will have direct access to sunlight.
Let the solar panel cable hang down to the vehicle’s OBD
port.
Connect the quick-disconnect plugs on the solar panel
and circuit box cables.
Push the OBD connector into the OBD port and ensure
it’s secure.
Lay the circuit box on the floor.
Make sure the circuit box’s LED lights up indicating the
solar panel is working at an optimum level. The LED dims
when solar panel is in partial sunlight and you may need
to move the solar panel into direct sunlight for maximum
