WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Immediately discontinue use of NuDerma if you experience any rare adverse
reactions such as an allergic response, swelling, skin discoloration, extreme redness,
hyperpigmentation or if you feel any unusual pain during use.
Do not use NuDerma if you use a pacemaker, neuro-stimulator, ECG monitor, or
any other type of implanted electronic device that is inside your body. If you use a
body-worn medical device, such as an insulin pump, consult your physician prior
to use. If you wear permanent metal retainers or have braces, consult your dental
professional prior to using NuDerma.
Do not use NuDerma if you are or might be pregnant. Consult your physician prior
to use if you are breastfeeding.
If you have high or low blood pressure, a heart condition, epilepsy, or seizure
disorders, consult your physician prior to use.
If you have any diagnosed skin conditions, consult a Dermatologist prior to using
NuDerma. Do not use NuDerma on areas with active skin cancer or suspicious
lesions. Do not use NuDerma on any areas of skin that lack sensation or have
swelling, bruising, cuts, abrasions or infections.
The NuDerma Wand is not intended for persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capacities unless supervised by a responsible adult party.
Do not use this device on children or animals. Keep the NuDerma and its
attachments out of reach of children and pets.
Prior to use, we recommend removing any metal objects, such as jewelry, which
may come in direct contact with NuDerma during a treatment session.
The glass tubes that are included with your NuDerma Wand are fragile. Do not
handle them by the tip—they will break. Only hold and handle them by the base
when inserting and removing them from the NuDerma handle.
Do not handle or use your NuDerma with wet hands. Do not immerse any part of
the NuDerma in water. Do not use NuDerma near bathtubs, showers, basins, or other
vessels containing water.
Never use NuDerma near combustible liquids or gasses, or with oil-based or
alcohol-based products.
Always store in a cool, dry place, away from extreme temperatures.
Only use official NuDerma glass tubes sold by Pure Daily Care. Only use glass tubes
that are designed for use with the NuDerma wand model you are using: NuDerma
(original), NuDerma Professional, or NuDerma Clinical. Using non-approved 3rd party
glass tubes will void your warranty and could damage the device. Never power on
the NuDerma before inserting one of the attachments. Never insert fingers or any
objects other than the provided glass tubes into the wand even if the device is
unplugged.
Do not use any parts of your NuDerma that look visibly damaged. Unplug the device
by grasping the plug and not the cable.
Do not plug the NuDerma wand into a power-strip, timer, or connect it via an
extension cord. Do not plug NuDerma into an outlet where the electrical supply is
unstable or likely to be turned off.
Always unplug the device safely from the socket if the cable becomes frayed or
damaged or if the device starts to smoke, emits a loud noise, or appears visibly
broken. If the power cord or adaptor is damaged do not attempt to repair, contact

Do not attempt to dismantle or repair your NuDerma for self-service. If the appliance
is not working as it should or has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or has
come in contact with water, do not use and contact our support team at

WHAT IS HIGH FREQUENCY AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
High frequency is an advanced modality that uses thermal energy via electrical
currents to deliver anti-aging and anti-blemish benefits to your skin.
For decades, estheticians and even dermatologists have used high-frequency in
professional treatments as a safe and painless way to help eliminate breakouts
and reverse visible signs of aging.
The NuDerma High Frequency Wand sends a low-level electrical current that
passes through a glass electrode (also called a tube) filled with inert gas. This
electrical current creates enriched oxygen molecules and increases circulation.
The benefits range from anti-aging to treating breakouts.

HOW TO INSERT AND REMOVE GLASS TUBES INTO HANDLE
1. Remove your NuDerma handle and applicable glass tube from the box.
a. Always handle the glass tube by holding it just above the metal base.
b. Only insert and remove a tube while the NuDerma is powered off.
2. Insert the tube by gently pushing the metal base of the glass tube into the
opening of the handle. Some tubes may easily slide into the opening while
others may require firmer pressure.
a. Never use extreme force or “jam” the glass tubes into the opening.
This can cause the tubes to break and can cause injury. Never push or
pull the glass tubes from their tip where they are most fragile.
3. Before removing a tube, ensure the NuDerma is powered off.
4. Hold the glass tube as close to the handle as possible (not the tip) and
steadily lift the tube directly out of the opening.
a. Never pull or push the glass tube into the handle from an angle or
by holding the glass anywhere except above the metal base.
b. Never insert your fingers or any other objects into the handle.
Only use NuDerma official tubes.
c. If a part of a tube or other object becomes stuck in the opening
of the NuDerma handle, immediately contact our support team.
Do not try to remove fragments or broken parts yourself.

HOW TO USE THE NUDERMA
1. Thoroughly cleanse your skin and gently pat dry.
• While it is possible to use high frequency on bare
skin without a serum or gauze, you might find it
more difficult to move the wand in a smooth,
controlled manner.
• For best results, we recommend using the Pure Daily
Care High Energy Hyaluronic Serum (or a water-based
serum) to help the wand glide across your skin.
2. Plug your power cord into a wall socket. Do not use
an extension cord or voltage adapter.
3. Hold the handle of your wand and place one finger
at the base of the glass tube. This will prevent any
small harmless static shocks when touching
the device to your skin.
4. With your finger on the glass tube (as seen in diagram),
switch the device on by turning the power dial to the
lowest setting.
• If you’re a beginner, start with your level at 1 or 2.
5. Once you’ve switched the device on, you may or may not
hear a slight buzzing or humming noise that intensifies as
you increase the power level. The sound will be less audible
when the glass tube is not in contact with your skin.
• You may or may not see the wand glow when applied
to your skin. It is not uncommon for the wand to not
glow brightly.
6. Apply 2-3 pumps of serum to one section of your face. Work in 3–4 small sections
to prevent the serum from drying out.
7. With your finger still on the glass tube, touch the glass tube’s tip to your skin,
remove your finger and glide the tube across your skin.
8. Use small, circular motions across your face with each treatment area needing
only 10-15 seconds maximum per area. Keep the wand in motion while in use, as
opposed to stopping in one area for an extended period of time. When using
the spot tube, you can tap a blemish several times or keep the wand on it for
2–3 seconds. Avoid the direct eye area, eyelids, lips, and sensitive areas.
9. Once you’ve finished your full treatment, you can massage the residual serum
into your skin and proceed with a moisturizer of your choice, or you can blot or
rinse the serum off after you have unplugged your NuDerma.
10. IMPORTANT: Limit NuDerma sessions to a maximum of 5 minutes every other
day. Do not exceed 5 minutes in any single session to preserve the integrity
of the gas inside the glass tubes.
Be sure to use the lowest intensity dial setting during the first few uses. During
subsequent treatments you may wish to increase the intensity to your level
of comfort.
This system is effective even at the lowest intensity setting so it’s not necessary
to use a high power level to achieve maximum benefits from this treatment.
The intensity level that you are comfortable with will be dependent upon your
skin type and sensitivity.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF THE NUDERMA
1. Once you have completed your session, turn your device off and unplug
your wand.
2. If needed, clean and sanitize the glass tube tubes with a soft cloth and
a small amount of rubbing alcohol.
3. Place the dry glass tubes back into their foam inserts. Please ensure the
glass is completely dry before storing or using them again.
