Installing the Drive Module

Arm is pointing up 1
Pull back the partition
with the lock pin to allow
the Drive Module to slide in.

Slide the Drive Module
down until the lock pin
is level with the U-socket.

Push the lock pin into
the U-socket to secure
the Drive Module.

Removing the Drive Module
Follow steps 4&3 above in reverse: Pull out the lock pin from the U-socket and hold back the partition wall and pull up the drive module.

Installing the Cover
Hold the cover at an angle as shown
and align the catch ‘A’ to the lip of the
bin ‘B’ on both sides.
1Rotate the cover down until the front
edge meets the top of the bin.
2Pull out the front face of the cover and
push the cover down all the way, then
release the front face.
This locks the front of the cover onto
the bin’s lip.

Switching ON the Drive Module
The Automatic bin has an On / Off switch operated by magnetic key.
The Drive Module will quickly flash red & green when turning on.
It will then show a green flash every 3 seconds to show it is on.
The Drive Module will flash red every 3 seconds when it is off.
The Drive module will flash red & green when the battery is low and needs replacing.
* To view the light, look at the lens on the top of the cover *
Hold the key between thumb and fore-
finger. Face the silver magnet towards the
back of the cover, in line with the lens.
Slide the key down the back, from top to
bottom (from position A to B.)
This will turn the Drive Module ON or OFF.
Flashing green = ON
Flashing red = OFF (standby mode)

Switch ON / OFF
With the unit switched on (flashing green light), wave hand 1-4 inches above the lens.
The lid will open and remain open for 5 seconds before automatically closing.

Place sanitary napkin onto tray
while it is holding open.
The lid will close automatically
after 5 seconds.
Rotate the arm so
that it is pointing up.

Optional Accessories
Bin Hanger
A robust plastic wall-mount bracket can be used to hold the
bin off the floor. The DC 2200 simply hooks onto the bracket.
Requires drilling 3 holes with wall plugs for dry walls.

Troubleshooting - Drive Module
Problem
The Bin Lid will not open.
Solution
1). Make sure the Lid is not stuck in any way. Lift it manually
to check it can lift easily.
2). Make sure the module in “ON” and showing a green
flashing light every 3 seconds.
3). Check the Drive Module Arm is not broken or lose on the
shaft. Note if the locking split pin is still intact.
4). Remove the Drive Module, open and replace the batteries
(4pcs AA Alkaline), switch on and test.
1). Remove the Drive Module and rotate the
arm by hand 5 times clockwise and 5 time
anti-clockwise. Replace and test. see figure1

Note:
If the Drive Module make a rough-
sound during operation and is not
opening and closing the bin cover
smoothly it is recommended to
return the Drive Module to the
distributor for repair.
