noise canceling function. Disturbing ambient noise in the low frequency range is recorded by tiny
microphones and deleted bycounter-sound (phase inverse tones). Thus, a noise canceling of morethan
85 % isachieved.For operation, two 1.5 V micro batteries (type AAA)are required. The can
also be used passively, ie. without noise canceling and without batteries. The are swivel
and aresupplied complete with a practical transport case and two audio adapters.
Always turn downthe volume control before pluggingthe headphones into asoundsource.
Turn up the volume control only far enoughto hearproperly.
If your are connectingthese headphones toanairplane's sound system, listen at lowlevels sothat
loud messages from the pilot do notdiscomfort.
Ringing in the ears mayindicate that the volume level is too high. Lower the volume.
Do notuse these headphones where vehicular traffic is present, or in any other activity where a
failureto hear surrounding sounds could be dangerous.
Maintenance and service operations are only to be carriedoutby authorized dealers.

Inordertoachieve good transmission quality andnoisecanceling, as wellas best possible
comfort, the headband should be adjusted to properly fityour head.You canadjust the headband
using the snap-inlocking mechanism.
Connect the headphonesvia the suppliedaudiocable to the sound source. Ifnecessary, usethe
6.3 mm jackadapter or the 3.5 mm double jackadapterfor the in-flightentertainmentin an
airplane.

ON/OFF switchtoON.The POWERindicatorlights up.
When the batteries are going flat, the power indicatorstarts flashing andgoes off. The
active noise canceling is switched off.However, the audiosignal continuestobe
transmitted.
The can also be usedlikeconventional headphones without batteries to
listen to music.
After operation, switch off the to extend batterylife.
The headphones should be cleaned fromtimeto time.Please use a soft lint-free and
moistenedcloth. Never usealcohol orsolvents!
To transport the headphones inthe transport case foldthe ear-pieces inwards between
the headband. You can store the accessoriesin the lid ofthe case.
After you turnon the powerof the headphones, you mayhear a slight hiss. This is
operatingsoundofthe noise cancelingfunction,not a malfunction.
