INSTALLATION GUIDE
& WARRANTY INFORMATION
Before you Begin
1. Check the mains water pressure. The pressure must
not be below 1.5 BAR (22 psi) or above 5 BAR (73 psi),
measured during a low demand period – (mid-morning or
mid-aernoon).
If the pressure exceeds 5 BAR a pressure reducing valve
must be installed in the cold mains supply to protect both
the boiler and the water lter housing. A suitable pressure
reducing valve can be purchased at www.grldirect.co.uk/
franke
2. The unit must be installed in a frost free environment.
3. Ensure that the cabinet is well venlated. If in doubt it is
advisable to improve the circulaon of air by drilling some
holes in the top and boom of the rear panel.
4. Be careful when making the connecons to the chiller.
Do not be tempted to over-ghten the connecons. It is
only necessary to rmly hand ghten the nuts using the
patented NutRunna® plasc ghtening devices provided to
make a secure waterght seal.
5. Shut o the mains water supply.
6. Switch o the mains electricity supply at the socket.
7. Covering the chiller will cause it to overheat, aecng its
performance and potenally causing it to shut down.
8. Ensure that the chiller is seated on a at surface, well
venlated and not in direct sunlight.
9. A kitchen base unit not less than 800mm wide, good
venlaon within the cabinet to allow cooling of the chiller
unit.
Where possible you should provide a vent in the base and
one near the top of the cabinet to allow air to ow. You
must provide a 75mm air gap on all sides of the cooler unit.
