Secondary tablet
for the IQ Panel
INFORMATION
The IQ2 is a 7” secondary tablet that can be installed to create additional access
to the IQ Panel. You can pair up to three (3) of these tablets with the IQ Panel.

PAIRING THE IQ2 WITH THE IQ PANEL
Perform the following steps on the IQ Panel to pair an IQ2 (Note: The IQ Panel must be on
1.5.1 software or higher and connected to the same Wi-Fi Network as your IQ2)

Enter installer code
(default is 1111)

selection of default name choices*
*Or create a custom name by touching
the “Device Name” box)
To get the IP Address from your IQ2:
The IQ2 will take a moment to synchronize with the IQ Panel over the network.
Once complete it will display the home screen. To add additional IQ2 tablets
repeat steps above with up to three (3) total devices.

CONNECTING THE IQ2 TO WI-FI

The IQ2 pairs with the IQ Panel over a secure Wi-Fi Network (802.11 B, G, N) and must be connected to the
same network as the IQ Panel before you can add it to the system. To connect to a secure Wi-Fi:
IMPORTANT: Please check that the IQ2 can successfully connect to the network in the chosen installation location
Select network from
available list.
Enter Wi-Fi network

is turned on

Press and hold the power button until the screen illuminates (approx 3-5 sec)
