ASSEMBLY PREPARING TO MOW
Fill the petrol tank with 1.0l of normal 95 Octane petrol
(standard unleaded) using a funnel and measuring jug.
Turn the ignition key fully
to the right.
As soon as the motor starts
running, release the key (it
turns automatically).
CAUTION!
Every start, ignition time
should be less than 5s.
Long time ignition will
damage the electric motor.
If no starting first time,
please try 3~5 times.
In cold weather it may be necessary to repeat the cold engine starting
process.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
Always read the instruction manual thoroughly
before starting the lawnmower.
Never allow the starter cord to snap back.
Check the oil level before every use. Always use high quality detergent oil classified
SAE30 oil (or equivalent eg 5W 30, often termed as 4 Stroke lawn mower oil).
Unpack the lawn mower ensuring all parts are present
(see parts list overleaf) before discarding the packaging.
Align the lower handle with
the holes in the deck. Make sure
the holes in the lower handle are
aligned with those in the support.
Fix the lower handle onto
the deck firmly.
Make sure the key seat is
on right hand side
when you stand behind
the mower.
Assemble the grass collection bag and
attach the lift handle onto the grass bag
frame. When using the grass collection
bag, please ensure the mulching plug is
removed before hooking the bag onto
the mower. Ensure the side discharge
chute is not fitted when collecting the
grass in the bag.
Pull the lever towards
the wheel, then move it
forward or backward to
adjust the cutting height.
Return lever into securing
plate.
The battery pack is
programed to enter a
"sleep mode". A quick
charge of approximately
10 seconds is required to
wake up the battery.
Ensure that the cables clips
supplied are used to fix the
cable to the lower handle.
Lift the upper handle, and lock in
place using the quick release lever
and tensioning bolts that are
attached to the handle.
Ensure the lower and upper
handles are firmly connected.
3
Follow these steps to ensure quick and easy set up
every time.
5The engine does not
come with oil. Add a
minimum of 0.5 litres of
oil.
CHECK THE OIL
BEFORE EVERY USE.
