INTRODUCTION
Unpacking
Thank you for purchasing the Quarkpro MINI-QUAD. Carefully check the shipping carton
for damage that may have ocurred during shipping. If the carton appears to be dama-
ged, carefully inspect your xture for any damage and be sure all accesories necessary to
operate the unit has arrived intact.
WARNING
To prevent or reduce the risk of electrical shock or re, do not expose this unit to rain or
moisture.
CAUTION
There are no user serviceable parts inside this unit. Do not attempt any repairs yourself,
doing so will void your manufactures warranty.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
To optimize the perfomance of this product, please read these operating instructions
carefully to familiarize yourself with the basic operations of this unit. These instructions
contain important safety information regarding the use and maintenance of this unit.
Please keep this manual with the unit, for future reference.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• To reduce the risk of electrical shock or re, do not expose this unit rain or moisture.
• Do not spill water of other liquids into or on to your unit.
• Be sure that the local power outlet match that of the required voltage for your unit.
• Do not attempt to operate this unit if the power cord has been frayed or broken. Do
not attempt to remove or break o the ground prong from the electrical cord. This
prong is used to reduce the risk of electrical shock and re in case of an internal short.
• Disconnect from main power before making any type of connection
• Do not remove the cover under any conditions. There are no user serviceable
parts inside
• Never plug this unit in to a dimmer pack
• Always be sure to mount this unit in an area that will allow proper ventilation. Allow
about 6” (15cm) between this device and a wall.
• Do not attempt to operate this unit, if it becomes damaged
• This unit is intended for indoor use only, use of this product outdoors voids
all warranties
• During long periods of non-use, disconnect the unit´s main power
• Always mount this unit in safe and stable matter
Power supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or
pinched by items placed upon or against them, paying particular attention to the point
they exit from the unit
• Cleaning - The xture should be cleaned only as recommended by the manufacter.
• Heat - The appliance should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat
registers, stoves, or other appliances (including ampliers) that produce heat.
• The xture should be services by qualied service personnel when:
A. The power supply cord or the plug has been damaged
B. Objects have fallen, or liquid has been spilled into the appliance
C. The appliance has been exposed to rain or water
D. The appliance does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a marked
change in performance.

SYSTEM MENU
DMX Address - Set the DMX Address
1.- Press the Up and Down button until “DMX Address” is displayed, press ENTER
2.- “X” will now be displayed,”X” represents the displayed address. Press the Up or Down
buttons to nd your desired address. Press ENTER to conrm
System Reset - Use this function to reset the xture
1.- Press the UP and DOWN button until “System Reset” is displayed, press ENTER
2.- The xture will reset
Firmware version - This will display the software version
1.- Press the Up and Down button until “Firmware version” is displayed, press ENTER
2.- The software version will be displayed
Fixture time - With this function you can display the running time of the xture
1.- Press the Up and Down button until “Fixture time” is displayed press ENTER
2.- The running time of the xture will be displayed
White Balance - This menu will let you select your desired mode
1.- Press the MENU button and UP button or DOWN button until ”White Balance”is
displayed, press ENTER
2.- Press ENTER to display the “Red”“Green””Blue” and then press ENTER, the
“RXXX””GXXX””BXXX”, XXX is the value of red,green and blue, then press the UP or DOWN
to adjust the value.
Auto Test - With this function you can manually test the individual features
1.- Press the UP and DOWN button until “Auto Test” is displayed, press ENTER
2.- Use the UP and DOWN button to nd the function or color that you wish to test.
3.- Once you nd a function or color you wish to test, press the ENTER button. Now you
can adjust the values by pressing the UP and DOWN buttons. Once you have nished
testing press the ENTER button.
Tilti Inverse - Tilt Inversion
1.- Press the UP and DOWN button until “Tilt Invert” is displayed, press ENTER
2.- To activate the Tilt inversion press the UP or DOWN buttons until“yes” is displayed,
press ENTER to conrm. To deactivate Tilt Inversion, select “No” and press ENTER.

Pan invert - Pan Inversion
1.- Press the UP and DOWN button until “Pan Invert” is displayed, press ENTER
2.- To activate the Pan inversion press the UP or DOWN buttons until “yes”is displayed,
press ENTER to conrm. To deactivate Pan Inversion, select “No”and press ENTER.
Pan Angle
1.- Press the UP and DOWN button until “Pan Angle” is displayed, press ENTER
2.- Press the UP or DOWN button to set your rotation
Back LCD
1.- Press the UP and DOWN button until “Back LCD” is displayed, press ENTER
2.- Press the ON or OFF button to set your desired LCD mode
Show Mode - In this mode you can select your desired master mode
1.- Press the UP and DOWN button until “Show Mode”is displayed, press ENTER
2.- Press the ON or OFF button to set your desired Master mode
Slave Mode - In this mode the xture will be a slave
1.- Press the UP and DOWN button until “Slave Mode is displayed, press ENTER
2.- Press the UP or DOWN button to select Master or Slave Mode
Channel Mode - This will let you select you desired DMX channel mode
1.- Press the UP and DOWN button until “Channel Mode is displayed, press ENTER
2.- ”X Ch” will now displayed,“X”represents the displayed DMX channel mode. Press the
UP or DOWN button to nd your desired Channel mode. Press ENTER to conrm

Desembalaje
Gracias por adquirir el MINI -QUAD de Quarkpro. Revise cuidadosamente la caja para
cerciorarse de que no haya sufrido daños durante el transporte. Si la caja parece
dañada,inspeccione con cuidado el interior en busca de daños y asegúrese de que todos
los accesorios necesarios para hacer funcionar la unidad han llegado intactos.


PRECAUCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
• Para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica o incendio, no exponga esta unidad a la
lluvia ni a la humedad .
• No derrame agua u otros líquidos dentro o sobre la unidad
• Asegúrese de que la toma eléctrica local coincide con la de tensión necesaria
• No intente poner en funcionamiento esta unidad si el cable de alimentación está
rasgado o roto . No intente quitar ni arrancar la toma de tierra del cable eléctrico. Esta
prolongación se utiliza para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica y de incendio en caso
de un cortocircuito interno.
• Desconecte el suministro eléctrico antes de realizar cualquier tipo de conexión
• No retire la cubierta bajo ninguna circunstancia
• Nunca conecte esta unidad a un regulador de voltaje
• Asegúrese siempre de montar esta unidad en una zona que permita la ventilación
adecuada . Deje aproximadamente 15 cm entre este dispositivo y la pared.
• No intente poner en funcionamiento esta unidad si esta dañada
• Esta unidad está diseñada para uso en interiores
• Durante períodos largos de no utilización , desconecte la alimentación de la unidad
• Siempre coloque esta unidad sobre una supercie segura y estable
• Los cables de alimentación deben colocarse de forma que no puedan ser pisados o
aplastados por elementos colocados sobre o contra ellos
• El dispositivo debe limpiarse sólo como se recomienda por el fabricante
• El aparato se debe colocar lejos de fuentes de calor tales como radiadores,
calefactores, estufas u otros aparatos que produzcan calor.
• El aparato debe ser revisado por parte de personal cualicado cuando:
A. El cable de alimentación o el enchufe se haya dañado
B. Han caído objetos o se ha derramado líquido en el aparato
C. El aparato ha quedado expuesto a la lluvia o al agua
D. El aparato parece no funcionar normalmente o muestra un cambio
en el rendimiento.

Dirección DMX - Ajuste la dirección DMX
1.- Pulse los botones UP o DOWN hasta que aparezca " DMX Address" , pulse ENTER
2.- Ahora se mostrará "X" ,representa la dirección que se muestra . Pulse los botones UP o
DOWN para encontrar la dirección deseada . Pulse ENTER para conrmar
Restablecimiento del sistema - Utilice esta función para reiniciar el dispositivo
1.- Pulse los botones UP o DOWN hasta que aparezca " SYSTEM RESET " en la pantalla,
pulse ENTER para conrmar el restablecimiento
Versión de rmware - Se mostrará la versión de software
1.- Presione los botones UP o DOWN hasta que aparezca " FIRMWARE VERSION ", pulse
ENTER para conrmar y aparecerá la versión del software
Tiempo - Con esta función se puede visualizar el tiempo de funcionamiento del
dispositivo
1.- Pulse los botones UP o DOWN hasta que aparezca "FIXTURE TIME” presionae ENTER
para conrmar y mostrará el tiempo de funcionamiento
Balance de blancos - Este menú le permitirá seleccionar el modo deseado
1.- Pulse el botón MENU y los botones UP o DOWN hasta que aparezca en la pantalla
“WHITE BALANCE” y presione ENTER
2.- Presione ENTER para mostrar " RED" "GREEN" "BLUE" y, a continuación , presione
ENTER , " RXXX " " GXXX " " BXXX " , XXX es el valor de rojo, verde y azul, a continuación,
pulse los botones UP o DOWN para ajustar el valor .
Auto Test - Con esta función se puede probar manualmente las características
individuales
1.- Presione los botones UP o DOWN hasta que aparezca "AUTO TEST" en la pantalla ,
pulse ENTER
2.- Utilice los botones UP o DOWN para encontrar la función o el color que usted
desee probar.
3.- Una vez que encuentre una función o color que desee probar , pulse el botón ENTER.
Ahora usted puede ajustar los valores pulsando los botones UP y DOWN. Una vez que
haya terminado la prueba , pulse el botón ENTER .
Inversión TILT
1.- Pulse los botones UP o DOWN hasta que muestre "TILT INVERT ", pulse ENTER
2.- Para activar la inversión del movimiento Tilt los botones pulse UP o DOWN hasta que
en la pantalla aparezca "YES" , pulse ENTER para conrmar. Para desactivarla seleccione
"NO" y pulse ENTER.

Inversión PAN
1.- Presione los botones UP o DOWN hasta que aparezca "PAN INVERT" , pulse ENTER
2.- Para activar la inversión Pan pulse los botones UP o DOWN hasta que aparezca "SI" en
la pantalla , pulse ENTER para conrmar. Para desactivar la inversión Pan, seleccione
"NO" y pulse ENTER.
Ángulo PAN
1.- Pulse los botones UP o DOWN hasta que aparezca "PAN ANGLE" , pulse ENTER
2.- Presione el botón UP o DOWN para ajustarlo
LCD
1.- Pulse los botones UP o DOWN hasta que aparezca " BACK LCD", pulse ENTER
2.- Presione el botón ON o OFF para congurar el modo LCD deseada
Modo SHOW - En este modo se puede seleccionar el modo master deseado
1.- Presione los botones UP o DOWN hasta que aparezca "SHOW MODE", pulse ENTER
2.- Presione el botón ON o OFF para congurar el modo Maestro deseado
Modo SLAVE- En este modo el dispositivo será esclavo
1.- Pulse los botones UP o DOWN hasta que aparezca "SLAVE MODE”, pulse ENTER
2.- Presione el botón UP o DOWN para seleccionar modo maestro o esclavo
Modo de canal - Esto le permitirá seleccionar el modo de canal DMX
1.- Pulse los botones UP o DOWN hasta que aparezca "CHANNEL MODE” , pulse ENTER
2.- Ahora aparece "X Ch", "X " representa el modo de canal DMX. Pulse los botones UP o
DOWN para encontrar el modo de canal deseado. Pulse ENTER para conrmar
