HOW IT WORKS
ClearRayzcombinestwodistinctwavelengthsoflight(RED and BLUE)
that when used as directed, helps to kill the acne bacteria (p. acnes) that
causesinammatoryacneandtohealtheskin.How?
Propionibacteria acnes(p.acnes)arenormalresidentsoftheskin,
and are generally harmless, but when pores become lled with
excess oil and dead skin cells, it causes p. acnes to thrive.
P. acnes triggers inammation within the pore creating papules,
pimples, or cysts. Reducing the p. acnes presence is an essential
step in controlling acne and preventing new bacterial growth.
Science has proven that blue-spectrum light kills these bacteria and
the red-spectrum light heals the inamed skin.

SETUP
1. InsertthepowerplugintothebottomoftheClearRayztool.
2. Plug the power supply into the wall.
3. PresstheOn/Oswitchtomakesuretoolisfunctional.
TEST FOR LIGHT-SENSITIVE SKIN
1. Placetheredlightsidedirectlyonyourarm.Turnonthetool 
 andmoveitasweepingmotionintheareaforthefullcycle 
 (thetoolwillturnoautomaticallyattheendofthecycle).
2. Ifyouhavepainorredness,youmayhavelight-sensitiveskin.
TREATMENT REGIMEN
Treatment is one (1) day of RED (entire face) for 30 minutes and
one (1) day of BLUE (entire face) for 20 minutes per WEEK for
inflammatory acne.
TREATMENT STEPS RED LIGHT THERAPY
1. Start by cleansing your face.
2. Pushthebuttononetime,theredlightwillcomeon.
3. PlacetheClearRayztoolgentlyontheskinintherstarea 
you are treating.
4. Movethetoolinaslowcircularorsweepingmotion.Treat 
 withintheareafor7½minutesuntilthetoolemitsasoft 
 toneandthetoolshutso.
5. Turn the tool back on and repeat until all areas have been
treated.
6. Theentirefacetreatmentwillbe30minutes.

TREATMENT STEPS BLUE LIGHT THERAPY
1. Start by cleansing your face.
2. Pushthebuttontwo(2)timesuntilthebluelightison.

you are treating.
4. Movethetoolinaslowcircularorsweepingmotion.Treat 
 withintheareafor5minutesuntilthetoolemitsasofttone 
 andthetoolshutso.
5. Turn the tool back on and repeat until all areas have been
treated.
6. Theentirefacetreatmentwillbe20minutes.
Note: Do not place the tool directly over the eyelids and keep
your eyes closed when treating around the eyes.
TIPS FOR USE
•When treating your forehead or your chin area, use back and
 forthsweepingmotions.
• Whentreatingonyourcheeks,useaslowcircularmotion.
• Ifyouhaveinammationora“breakout”occurs,add 
 additionaldaysofRedLightTherapyuntiltheinammation
subsides

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT IN THE FIRST
WEEK(S) OF USE:
Youshouldexpectyouracnetoworsenbeforeitimproves.Thisis
completelynormal.Theredlightspenetratetothedeepestcellsin
yourskin.Therefore,whiletheappearanceofyourskinmaywors-
en, you are actually treating the acne at its roots. As your pores de-
toxify,thesebumandthedeadbacteriawillsurface.Useaddition-
alRedtreatmentstohealtheskin’ssurfaceofanyinammation.
USING PRODUCTS WITH YOUR CLEAR RAYZ TOOL
If you use other products while treating with the Clear Rayz tool, we
suggestyoudoaproductlight-sensitivitytestonyourarmbefore
applyingproducttoyourfaceanddoingtreatmentswiththeQuasar
tools. Acne products can be harsh and cause irritation and the light
couldamplifythisirritation.
Refrain from using creams or lotions until AFTER you complete
yourtreatment.Creamsandlotionscancauseabarriertotheskin
preventing light penetration.

NOTE:Makesureallproductsfromthechemicalpeelarecompletely
washedothefacebeforeusingthelight.

yourskinissucientlyhydrated.Applymake-uporotherskincare
products as you like. Quasar Tools do not cause sun sensitivity.
CARE FOR YOUR TOOL
Useasoft,dampclothoralcoholwipetocleanthetool’ssurfaces.Store
the tool in a cool, dry place. Do not use any disinfectants (except an
alcohol wipe) on your tool.
PROBLEMS?

hairs, blackheads, whiteheads or insect bites.
• DONOTUSEtheClearRayzexceptforthetreatmentof 

• DO NOT USE the Clear Rayz to treat if you have skin
infections, open sores, or wounds.
WARNINGS
• DO NOT USE the Clear Rayz in water (including your sink,
 bathorshower).Youcouldgetamildelectricshock.
• DO NOT USE the Clear Rayz if the wall power unit has a
frayed cord or the prongs are bent or loose. You could get a
 mildelectricshock.

electric shock.

PRECAUTIONS FOR BEST RESULTS
• ALWAYS check your Clear Rayz before using. Test the unit
by seeing that the red and blue LEDs are working. Please,
 onlyglanceatthelightfromtheside,NOTstraighton.Please 
DO NOT stare at the light as it is very bright.
• ALWAYS clean your Clear Rayz after each use. Unplug your
 ClearRayz,THENuseadamp(notwet)clothoralcoholswab 
and wipe the surface.
• USEONLYthepowerunitthatcamewithyourClearRayz.
 OtherpowerunitswilldamageyourClearRayzand  
will cancel your warranty.
• NEVERcleanyourClearRayzwithheat;itcandamageyour 
Clear Rayz.
