8 - FILTER REPLACEMENT – Bio-Scan…B301
Proper maintenance is critical to extend the life of the filtration system. QUATRO has therefore included in this unit a “FILTER ALERT” Warning System. When the
appropriate Filter Replacement Indicator Illuminates, it is time to replace the filter. The information presented below outlines basic maintenance procedures
ensuring the unit will provide trouble-free operation for years to come.
Stage I (Top) DUST FILTER p/n F071
- Change the Dust Filter approximately every 6 months depending on the dust level in the area;
- To do this, turn OFF the unit. Unplug from wall outlet, unlatch the top section and remove;
- Replace with new Dust filter (make sure air flows are pointing up) Secure top back into position and both latches . The airtight seal should be maintained.
Stage II (Middle)**Filter Tray Odor Granules
It is important the odor granules be replaced immediately upon any detection of odor from air purifier.
(odor granule, refill only, p/n NC-GPC)
To refill tray with new odor granules:
a) Ensure that the unit is unplugged, unlatch top section and remove.
b) Pull out filter tray and discard any remaining odor granules, refill with new odor granules.
c) Put filter tray back into position (Stage II / middle). Secure top back into position and both latches. The airtight seal should be maintained.
Stage III (Bottom) HEPA p/n F075
- Under typical applications, should last approximately between 24 to 36 months (depending on applications);
- To do this, turn OFF the unit . Unplug from wall outlet. Unlatch the top section and remove;
- Remove Dust Filter (F071) and odor filter (F072-GPC), Pull out HEPA Filter and replace;

Stage I (Top) HiCapacity DUST FILTER p/n F073
- Change the Dust Filter approximately every 12 months depending on the dust level in the area;
- To do this, turn OFF the unit. Unplug from wall outlet, unlatch the top section and remove;
- Replace with new Dust filter. Secure top back into position and both latches. The airtight seal should be maintained.
Stage II (Bottom) HEPA p/n F075
- Under typical applications, should last between 24 to 36 months (depending on applications);
- To do this, turn OFF the unit . Unplug from wall outlet. Unlatch the top section and remove;
- Remove Dust Filter (F073), Pull out HEPA Filter from the top;
10- RESETTING FILTER LIGHTS
When filters need to be replaced, the filter light illuminates and beeper sounds for 2 seconds every 4 hours.
After replacing filters, WHILE THE UNIT IS OPERATING, reset filter lights as follows:
1) To go into FILTER RESET MODE, hold down UP & DOWN Speed Arrows until panel “BEEPS” (in 5 seconds). Once panel BEEPS, appropriate Filter
Replacement Light(s) flash.
- To RESET LIGHTS: HOLD DOWN arrow UP until panel BEEPS, or
- to go to next light below press arrow DOWN
- If you HOLD DOWN arrow UP until panel BEEPS to reset the light, next light will automatically flash if it requires to be reset.
If no other filter needs to be replaced (no other light is on), unit automatically goes to OPERATION MODE.
(If you need to return to light that was skipped over while in Filter Replacement Loop, continue pressing arrow DOWN to get out of Filter Replacement Loop.
Go to 1) & press arrow UP/DOWN until it BEEPS & start over.
12- SPEED CONTROL
- Dial in desired level of speed (Note: faster speeds provide superior levels of air purification)
13- MOTOR SERVICE
- The motor is brushless. No user motor maintenance is required .
14- ANNUAL GENERAL INSPECTION
Every 12 months, verify that all gaskets (seals) are in proper condition. Should the gaskets adhere to the filter, lubricate its surface with a transparent grease
or petroleum jelly. Should the unit be relocated continuously for optimum efficiency, ensure all casters (wheels) are tightly fastened and secure.
