Buzzer Description
The Fleet PreView®is equipped with a buzzer that varies the audible rate based on an
objects range from the sensor. The rate of the audible alert will increase as an object
becomes closer. The buzzer’s volume can be adjusted by turning the sound volume
control knob located on the face of the buzzer. By simply closing this opening the
sound can be reduced approximately 10-15 dB.
VolumeControl
Buzzer Installation
The buzzer should be mounted where the vehicle operator can easily hear it while
backing. The ideal location for mounting is on or under the dash or under the seat.
Dash installation can be performed by using the supplied bracket or the unit can
simply be laid under the seat. POLARITY MUST BE CORRECT OR DAMAGE TO BUZZER
WILL OCCUR!

Troubleshooting
Common Installation Problems
No audible beep on power on.
Verify that DC power (9-33V) is applied to the sensor (+V to red, GND to
black).
Verify that the cable between the sensor and buzzer is connected.
Verify that the buzzer is connected properly (Brown to +V, Blue to –V).
The buzzer sounds constantly (on-off sequence) when sensor is mounted.
Verify the sensor is pointing outward from the vehicle in an open area with
no obstructions. This may require removing the mounting screws and lifting
the sensor out away from the rear of the vehicle. If the buzzer is silent
when moved away from the vehicle, but are active when mounted, then the
sensors mounting position will have to be moved.
The buzzer has a solid tone rather than an on-off sequence.
There is a problem with the sensor, consult the factory.
