BITTE BEACHTEN:
-Der Einbau des Radical-Geräts sollte von einem autorisierten Fachhändler durchgeführt werden.
Zur Montage werden spezifische Kenntnisse und Werkzeuge benötigt. Unsachgemässer Einbau
kann zu Schäden am Fahrzeug und am Radical-Geräts führen.
HINWEIS:
- Das R-C11FD1 Gerät eignet sich für Fahrzeuge mit manuellem Klimabedienteil. Sonst sind keine
weiteren Einschränkungen bekannt.

EINBAUBEISPIEL FORD Focus II mit manuellem Klimabedienteil
DEMONTAGE UND VORBEREITUNG:
Ziehen Sie den Plastikrahmen an der
unteren Seite leicht nach vorne, um sie von
der Multimediabedieneinheit zu lösen.
Benutzen Sie dafür das Montagewerkzeug
Kunstoffgriff (10)
Lösen Sie mit Hilfe eines
Kreuzschraubenziehers die vier
Befestigungsschrauben des Originalradios.

Um das Gerät vollständig aus dem
Geräteschacht entfernen zu können,
müssen Sie zuvor alle Steckanschlüsse
(z.B. Hauptanschlusskabel, Antennenkabel,
etc.) auf der Geräterückseite trennen.
INSTALLATION
Montieren Sie die GPS-Antenne (Nr. 2) an
einer geeigneten Stelle und achten Sie
darauf, dass der GPS-Empfang nicht durch
die Abschattung von metallischen
Fahrzeugteilen negativ beeinflusst wird
(Wärmeschutzverglasung etc.). Verlegen
Sie das Anschlusskabel anschließend in
den Radioschacht.
Verlegen Sie die USB- Verlängerungskabel
(Nr. 5, 6) vom Radioschacht an die von
Ihnen gewünschte Stelle.

Verbinden Sie das jeweilige
Hauptanschlusskabel (Nr. 11) des Radical-
Geräts (Nr. 1) mit dem Stecker des
Fahrzeugs und schließen Sie den
Verriegelungsmechanismus des Steckers.
Verbinden Sie anschließend das CAN-BUS
Interface (Nr. 12) mit dem
Hauptanschlusskabel. Verbinden Sie alle
zuvor in den Radioschacht verlegten Kabel
und die originalen Antennenkabel mit dem
Radical-Gerät (Nr. 1).
Verlegen Sie die diversen Anschlusskabel
des Radical-Geräts sorgfältig im unteren
Bereich der Radioschachts. Schieben Sie
anschließend das Radical-Gerät vorsichtig
und mit dosierter Kraftaufwendung zurück in
den Radioschacht. Drücken Sie den R-
C10FD1 soweit nach innen, bis Sie hören
wie die Verriegelung einklickt.
Der Einbau des R-C11FD1 ist hiermit
beendet.

DAB-Antenne
Verlegen Sie das Antennenkabel an der A-Säule herab im Armaturenbrett entlang in den
Radioschacht.

the vehicle and the Radical device.

limitations are known.

EXAMPLE OF INSTALLATION FORD Focus II with manual A/C control panel
REMOVAL WORK AND PREPARATION:
1. Pull the plastic frame slightly forward on
the bottom side to release it from the
multimedia control unit.
Assembly Tool: Plastic Handle (10)
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the
four mounting screws of the original radio.
3. In order to be able to completely remove
the device from the device slot, you must
first disconnect all plug-in connections (eg
main connection cable, antenna cable, etc.)
on the back of the device.

INSTALLATION
4. Mount the GPS antenna (No. 2) in a
suitable place and make sure that the GPS
reception is not adversely affected by the
shading of metallic parts of the vehicle (heat
insulation glazing, etc.). Then lay the
connecting cable in the radio shaft.
5. Route the USB extension cables (#
5, 6) from the radio bay to your desired
location.
6. Connect the respective main
connection cable (# 11) of the Radical
device (# 1) to the plug of the vehicle and
close the locking mechanism of the
connector. Then connect the CAN-BUS
interface (No. 12) to the main connection
cable. Connect all cables previously routed
in the radio slot and the original antenna
cables to the Radical unit (# 1).

7.Neatly arrange the wires to the side,
making room for the Radical device.
Carefully slide it into the radio slot. Push
back the R-C10FD1 until you hear the
clicking sound of the latching mechanism.
The installation of your R-C11FD1 is now
complete.

DAB antenna
Route the antenna cable downwards along the A-pillar, along the dashboard and into the
radio bay.
