Beyond the Basics
Set the mode switch to the prog. set/review position.
Set the module selector switch to 1-4 or 5-8.
Advance the Time + rocker key to the desired time. Hold it
down to reach the desired time faster. If you go too far,
press - to go back.
Press on or off for the Unit Code for which you want to
program a time.
Set the mode switch back to run.
For example: If you set your programmed time to 12:45 PM,
and then press the on button for module 2, you will program the
module set to Unit Code 2 to turn on at 12:45 p.m. everyday. If
you set your programmed time to 7:00 AM, and then press the off
button for module 2, you will program the module set to Unit Code
2 to turn off at 7:00 AM everyday.
If “FULL” is displayed when you try to enter a programmed time,
you have already used up all the available memory. Cancel one
or more of your set times by pressing a number on or off button,
and press clear to clear that event. Program another time for the
selected module.
setting a timed event to occur once
To program your timed event to occur only once, press the Mode
button within four seconds of setting the programmed time.
Continue to press mode until “Once” shows in the display.
setting a timed event to occur at different
times
To use the Security mode, within four seconds of setting the
progammed time, repeatedly press the mode button until
“Security” shows in the display. This will modify the program
so your lights (or appliances) will go on or off at a different time
everyday within the programmed hour. If you do not select a
specific mode, the event happens at the same time everyday.
Note
You can program a total of 64 On or Off times. These are
distributed between the eight unit codes (selected with the
four on/off buttons). If you try to set a programmed time, and
the memory is full, the display will read “FULL.” To remove
this, press the clear button.
programming a timed event reviewing and changing programmed events
To review a programmed event, set the mode switch to the prog.
set/review position to see the first programmed event. If no
events exist in memory, 0:00 displays.
While in the prog. set/review position, if you press one of your
module’s on or off buttons without modifying the current time,
and no events are in memory for that module, 0:00 is displayed.
If events do exist, pressing the on or off buttons lets you review
all programmed events for that particular module. The display
also shows “Once” or “Security” to indicate how often the event
will occur. If it’s a Security event, the actual time the next event
will occur displays. If neither “Once” nor “Security” displays, the
programmed event will occur daily.
If you press one of the module’s on or off buttons after modifying
the current time, the time is stored as a new event for that
module.
While displaying the programmed time for any module, you can
delete it using the clear button. You can clear all events for a
module by pressing clear multiple times until the display shows
0:00.
If an event time is modified and you do not want to store it, press
clear. The previous event displays and can be deleted, if desired,
by pressing clear again.
If the mode switch is moved after a time has been changed and
you do not press on or off for the desired module, this time is
discarded and is not stored in memory.
