ToallowtheSens-R-Troltooperateefficiently,itis
necessarytomaintainafewsimplyaspectsofwater
quality.
1.Adjustthetotalalkalinityto120ppm(Sodium
HypochloriteandBromine)150ppm(Sodium
Dichlor).
2.AdjustthepHto7.4–7.6. Thisisessentialfor
the correctoperation of the sensor.
3.Turntheadjustmentsknowon theSens-R-Trol
just pasthalfway(12–1o’clock)tostart.
4.Check thesolenoidvalveisopenand wateris
flowingthrough thebrominator/chlorinator.
5.Test thewaterforbromine/ chlorineatregular
intervalsuntiltherequiredresidualisachieved.
6.When therequiredresidualisreachedturnthe
controlknob ontheSens-R-Troluntilthe
dosinglight just goesoff.Fineadjustmentscan
benecessaryoverthenext 1–3days.
Important:
*Allowthe systemtosettledownaftereach
adjustment.
7.Shock dosesyourpoolorspatoprevent a
buildup oforganicdebris.
8.Regularremoval(e.g.bybackwashing)of
someofthewaterandadditionoffreshwater
will preventthebuildupof totaldissolved
solids.
*Trytomaintainyourpoolwaterchemicallybalanced. Forfurtherinformationsee thePrimMixBalancedWaterBooklet.
